Q: Should Catholics change the fact that they are not allowed to use birth control?
Isn’t it true that it is a very old thing, and they had to have children to work in the fields?
If so they should at least have birth control.
A: It ain’t that simple!
Catholics rightly understand that God created human beings in a particular way, with a particular dignity, for a particular purpose, and with a particular end in mind.
Interposing an artifical barrier between man and wife defeats all of these, and more.
Worse yet, until recently, virtually all of the protestant denominations used to understand, believe, and practice this way, as well.
Such is the nature of modernism, materialism, and sin.
