Why would God give us life but not expect us to live it?

Q: Why would God give us life but not expect us to live it?
If there really was a God, and he created all things, including love and sex… wouldn’t he also want us to partake in it all. Drink it all in, absorb it. Live it!

A: You’re not the first person to get hung up on sexual issues, but that should not be a permanent obstacle to your successful practice of the authentic Christian faith.

You obviously never learned the true purpose of the Catholic faith … which is really total freedom from the law, and few if any concerns about divine judgment … all based simply on knowing and loving the one, true God.

Just remember: The word “discipline” and “disciple” have a common origin.

Also remember that anyone who departs this sphere of existence with at least a modicum of charity in their soul is not likely to see eternal damnation.

Take another look at things. It’s not too late. And try thinking with your brain, this time!

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they may have life and may have it more abundantly.
