If Barack Obama was “punished” with a son, would he have left him alone in a room to die?

President Barack Obama made a personal plea on Friday for Americans to do some “soul searching” after the shooting death of African-American Florida teenager Trayvon Martin noting:
“If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”

Which begs the question: “President Obama, if that ‘son’ had been born at an inconvenient moment in your career, would you or Mrs. Obama have had any qualms about leaving him alone in a room, to die?”
