A “blueprint” for the coming end of days, based on the prophesies of Catholic saints

Well, let me lay this out for you in very simple terms.  The good ol’ days ended a long time ago, long before any of us were born, and long before anyone alive today can remember.  Would it surprise you to learn that our time was prophesied centuries ago with alarming accuracy?  Here, let me give you an example…

After the year 1900, toward the middle of the 20th century, the people of that time will become unrecognisable. When the time for the Advent of the Antichrist approaches, peoples minds will grow cloudy from carnal passions, and dishonour and lawlessness will grow stronger. Then the world will become unrecognisable. Peoples appearances will change, and it will be impossible to distinguish men from women due to there shamelessness in dress and style of hair. These people will be cruel and will be like wild animals because of the temptations of the Antichrist. There will be no respect for parents or elders, love will disappear, and Christian pastors, bishops, and priests will become vain men, completely failing to distinguish the right hand way from the left. At that time the morals and traditions of Christians and the Church will change. People will abandon modesty, and dissipation will reign. Falsehood and greed will attain great proportions, and woe to those who pile up treasures. Lust, adultery, homosexuality, secret deeds and murder will rule in society.

— St. Nilus, 430 AD

  1. The Prophets occupied the time of the Old Testament. Divine Revelation ended with the death of the last Apostle.

Whether of saints or not, all speculation to follow the latter events is just that: speculation. As for the “End Times,” our Lord Himself told us that we will know neither the day nor the hour.

That Divine speculation is good enough for me. For, no matter how ominous or hopeful times may subjectively appear to a contemporary, we are all well-advised to live each day as though it were our last.

“And all the rest is talk.”

    • Mark 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray. For ye know not when the time is.

      • Doug,
Mark 13:33 is the Truth, the BEST Counsel! Take heed…YES!

  2. Read 2 Timothy 3 —The Last Days, Perilous Times Will Come!
Almost a Reread of St. Nilus. 1600 years ago!

    Not to be a Killjoy,
The Evangelicals believe in Futurism, invented by the Jesuits, to protect the Papacy!

There is no Jewish or Muslim Antichrist! The AC comes out of the the Old Roman Empire…Read Daniel and the beasts?

We do Not know the Day or Hour, only the Heavenly Father knows…When the Last Day, will occur!
Listen, to the Prophets and Apostle John for Clues!
The Saints are helpful, they repeat prophesy!

    • The fact that the Jewish messiah must be of the House of David in order to be legitimate makes an Anti-Christ with Semitic bloodlines a distinct possibility – no matter where he might hail from.

      • The AC is NOT for just the Jews, it is for the Entire World, to decieve the very Elect! All the Evangelical Spin, that the AC will come from the tribe of Dan and the rebuilding of the Temple (for what reason-Christ already died for our sins, the Levitical Priesthood is gone) for Christ was the Perfect Lamb Of God!
As far as Islam, the Evangelicals always mention in Revelation, all those that don’t follow the Mark of the Beast 666, will be beheaded. What religious group Beheads individuals? Islam…So there’s the answer! I don’t think so!
Of course, I do not have the answers, but we are to study…..
Always be prepared, do not be like the Virgins, who did not have their oil for the lamps!
