Today’s Question: Do you have a favorite prayer?

Question:
Do you have a favorite prayer?

Answer: I have a number of “favorite” prayers, but here’s one of the simplest, which has proved to extraordinarily powerful and effective for me, especially in times of crisis:

“Lord, I could use a little help, right now!”

Miracles have sometimes, shortly followed.

This simple but powerful prayer is ALWAYS TRUE
and it also demonstrates TRUE FAITH,
since I wouldn’t have invoked divine assistance,
if I didn’t FULLY BELIEVE that I would RECEIVE IT.

Praise God, I’m NOT superstitious and have absolutely no regard for knocking on wood, “lucky” rabbit’s feet, natural forces, demons, or idols.

Such a prayer also leaves one’s ultimate fate solely in God’s most capable hands; which is where it always is and always should be; no matter what.

Try it. It works!

Today’s Question: Do you think Kobe Bryant is in Hell?

Question:
Do you think Kobe Bryant is in Hell? According to pastor Tim, Kobe Bryant is in Hell because “there’s no indication that he knew the Lord”.

Answer: Pastor Tim is wrong and he has no absolutely right to judge the disposition of anyone’s eternal soul.

For the record, Kobe had repented of his old ways and was a fervent, practicing Catholic.

God is known to cut practicing Catholics a whole lot of “slack” – especially at or near the time of their death – no matter how sudden or unexpected the event.

Let’s just leave it at that!

Today’s Question: Did you know that the word “virgin” was mistranslated? Instead of “virgin” the word meant “young woman” but was mistranslated.

The Annunciation

Question: Did you know that the word “virgin” was mistranslated?
Instead of “virgin” the word meant “young woman” but was mistranslated.

Isaiah 7:14  Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son and his name shall be called Emmanuel.

Answer: As if a “young woman” (“almah”) conceiving a child would constitute some type of a sign from God?

Based on a correct interpretation of that very same passage, generations
of young Jewish maidens were known to have solemnly consecrated themselves to God, in the hope of becoming the virgin mother of the promised, Messiah of Israel.

See the Book of Numbers, Chapter 30, for all the specific rules and regulations governing the conduct of consecrated, perpetual virgins (including provisions for marriage) according to Old Testament Law.

An entire Temple Virgin Cult was formed in Jerusalem, just in time for the arrival of the true Messiah of Israel, who is Jesus Christ, the divine son of the Blessed Virgin Mary, so obviously not everyone believed that the term might have been mistranslated.

In fact, up until fairly recent times, almost nobody did.

Today’s Question: God loves everyone, but within a time frame and within limits… Do you agree?

Today’s Question:
God loves everyone, but within a time frame and within limits… Do you agree?

Answer: No. God’s love is truly infinite and inestimable. Only our perception of that divine love is limited; and that’s primarily due to our fallen human nature, which has been mortally wounded, by sin.

From the Fall of Man until Jesus Christ, Satan kept the whole world in bondage, by the power of death.

The devil scourging the Church

Hebrews 2:14-15  Therefore because the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he (Jesus) also himself in like manner hath been partaker of the same: that, through death, he might destroy him who had the empire of death, that is to say, the devil: And might deliver them, who through the fear of death were all their lifetime subject to servitude.

It would seem as though
the Power of Death
(which Jesus called “The Gates of Hell”)

has very powerfully, returned.

The only solution: Matthew 16:18  And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Yet, the whole world cowers in the face of a virus. Cardinals and Governors publicly insult God and denigrate our faith. We see idolatrous worship in the high places and rampant heresies from the Pope. The doors of the Universal (Catholic) Church are locked and the Sacraments have been made unavailable; all of this on top of decades of priestly abuse and deadly scandals; not to mention the grievous sins of all the laity.

It’s as if our very access to the Tree of Life has been deliberately, cut off.

Part of Saint Faustina’s message of Divine Mercy is that there would come a day when God would find it expedient to turn back from mercy, to wrath.

Let’s all hope and pray we’re not yet that far along!

Today’s Question: What is the main philosophy of Christianity?

Question:
What is the main philosophy of Christianity?

Answer: Redemption from perpetual slavery to Satan, sin and death, through the grace and merits of Jesus Christ, true man and true God.

Thought for the day: God Entrusted the Blessed Virgin Mary with Jesus, Who Is Our Salvation

I get frequent questions from Christians and others about why Catholics venerate the Blessed Virgin Mary to such a great degree, as if they think there is something wrong with doing so.

While there are numerous, simple and rational arguments for honoring the Mother of God (the first chapter of the Gospel of Saint Luke, not the least of them) it all really comes down to understanding and appreciating the true measure of God’s prudential judgment, providence and grace:

God the Father chose to make the human body of his divine son from the sin-free flesh of the Blessed Virgin Mary. With the Virgin’s informed consent, the Holy Spirit proceeded to make it so.

The impeccable, divine human, who we know as Jesus Christ, went on to triumphantly wield his unique, holy, purpose-built, body, blood, soul and divinity as the ultimate weapon against perpetual slavery to Satan, sin and death.

God chose to trust the Blessed Virgin Mary
with Jesus,

who is our salvation.

Mary never failed.

Now that her divine son has assumed Mary – body and soul – into Heaven and enthroned her at his right hand, so she might powerfully rule and reign with him, according to his own promises (which also apply to us) how and/or why would we ever expect her to fail, in even the very least of things?

Would not such a negative attitude reveal a shocking, lack of faith, in God?

Since faith is typically, required for salvation, would not such a lack of faith tend to place our own eternal salvation in jeopardy?

Our trust in Divine Providence, in the power of God’s grace and in God’s tender mercies; the God who loves us and who always keeps his promises; is the reason that Catholics, throughout all the ages, have always respectfully, placed our hopes, prayers and petitions before the throne of God with the loving assistance and care of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Why?

Because God did the very same thing,
in regard to his own, divine son.

God did it first.

And it worked!

Today’s question: Who is Satan?

Today’s question:
Who is Satan?

Answer: He’s a fallen angel, who attempted to usurp God’s throne; the leader of a multitude of other angels, who “fell” along with him.

He’s the Tree of Knowledge, in the Garden of Eden, who manifested as the talking Serpent.

Satan is the failed, persecutor and torturer of God’s faithful servant, Job.

He’s the false, wannabe, “Morning Star” (Lucifer) described in the Book of Isaiah.

In the Gospel, he’s the Tempter of Jesus, whose willing minions include the pagan Romans, as well as the corrupt Temple officials, who crucified our Holy Lord, Jesus Christ.

He’s the “Dragon”, in the Book of Revelation, who gives his power to Antichrist, in order to deceive the whole world.

Satan gained dominion over the entire earth and perpetually enslaved all of humanity under the curse of sin and death, by convincing (actually, seducing) Adam into betraying God and joining Satan’s rebellion, against God. Satan is the Father of Lies and a Murderer, from the beginning.

Satan’s evil dominion of death and hell was destroyed by the crucified and risen Jesus.

Satan has but a short time remaining, on the earth. He is known to be, at the present time, “prowling about the world, seeking the ruin of souls”.

Today’s Question: Did Jesus have ASPD – Anti Social Personality Disorder?

Today’s Question:
Did Jesus have ASPD – Anti Social Personality Disorder?

Jesus of the bible is a lot different from Jesus of popular conception. In Genesis 19 he tells Abraham there is no way to save Sodom…it had to be fire bombed.

When he saw people selling merchandise in the temple…he beat the merchants out with a whip.

When he found a tree without fruit on it…he cursed it causing it to die instantly.

When a woman asked him for healing…he called her a worthless dog (no matter what rationalizations you make up for that, he simply called her an *unworthy dog).

When he gave a teaching on how you should handle sexual temptations…he said pluck your eyes out if you can’t resist looking at pornography.

When an apostle asked a question amiss, his attitude instantly changed and he replied, ‘You wicked and foolish person’ (paraphrase).

Some features of people with ASPD are impulsiveness, irritability, ingeniousness (if IQ >130), early death, and overall a focus on the essentials of life.

For the character of Jesus, he focused on the fundamentals of what he considered the purpose of life that he unironically advocated for extremism.

Answer: Please make sure you remember to tell Jesus all of that, come Judgment Day. I’ll be watching. Can’t wait!

(Obviously Facetious) Question of the day: Why do Christian men just adore looking at a near naked God nailed to a cross?

(Obviously Facetious) Question of the day: Why do Christian men just adore looking at a near naked God nailed to a cross?

Answer: We adore the man, not the image, because the man, Jesus,
is our Lord, God and Holy Redeemer, who laid down his life for us,
so that we might defeat the power of death and hell, through him.

How come I am allowed to go to the supermarket during a lockdown, but I am not allowed to go to Church?

Church leadership: cowardly, effeminate, faithless, ineffective, A.W.O.L.

Mind well: it is not that civil authorities have decided that buying groceries endangers your health, but it has to be done, therefore it is allowed. No. Civil authorities in many Countries have decided that buying groceries can be done in a safe way, and should be therefore be done in that safe way alone.

It follows that Bishops all over Catholicism should have made a huge mess, demanding that churches are left open, and Mass be allowed to be celebrated, pretty much in the same way as the relevant Government allows the purchase of food.

Have they done this? Largely, no.

Why not? Because to them – irrespective of what they may say – the Mass is a social gathering, and nothing more. Our “hagan lio” Pope was, as befits his atheist mindset, the first to lead the charge, even going beyond what the Italian government had ordered. Boy, Satan is strong with this one.

Editor’s note: Medical personnel, first responders, fast food workers and grocery store clerks have proved to be much more heroic than Catholic priests, bishops and even the Pope, during this world wide pandemic. They deserve our respect and our gratitude.

What do the cowardly priests, bishops and the Pope deserve?

Today’s question: Is the suppression of the Catholic Mass and Sacraments a prelude to Antichrist?

The Antichrist, animated and empowered by Satan, claiming to be God

Today’s question: Is the suppression of the Catholic Mass and Sacraments a prelude to Antichrist?

Answer: The current situation is unprecedented.

Those at fault are the cowardly and corrupt Pope and Bishops, along with a good number of complicit, sycophant priests, as well.

This is precisely what needed to happen, in order to bankrupt the Church and force the parasitic liars, scoundrels, perverts and thieves who have been infesting the Body of Christ, to finally leave, so as to find “greener pastures” elsewhere.

It’s a lot like an exorcism, where demons are cast out, but only after they find it too painful to remain. It’s for this reason that I’m happy to endure this time of spiritual drought and famine.

Watch and pray. God is in charge. He knows precisely what he’s doing … and why. In the mean time, keep the faith. It’s yours, by divine right, as a result of your holy baptism. And nobody can take it from you.
