Six pro-life marchers arrested in front of the White House – for kneeling, in prayer.

Among those arrested were a Catholic priest, Father Denis Wilde, the Associate Director of Priests for Life; and Presbyterian minister, the Reverend Patrick Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition.
LifeSiteNews.com is reporting that a total of six pro-life protestors were charged and arrested for “disobeying a lawful order,” and eventually released after paying a $100 fine apiece.
Fr. Wilde stated that it is legal to protest in front of the Executive Mansion, but only if the protestors are physically in motion.
As the Catholic cleric explained, it’s legal to walk, but illegal to kneel and pray.

Pakistan arrests those who cooperated with the infidels (us) to get bin Laden.

While it is understandable that Pakistan would be angry that some of its citizens had co-operated with a foreign power, the Pakistani government may soon have cause to regret these arrests. How can Pakistan argue that it is doing its best to co-operate with the United States while arresting some of the few Pakistanis who were able to help America find its most wanted man? The arrests of these five men, after the conspicuous failure to find and neutralize bin Laden, says much about Pakistan’s commitment to the Western campaign against terrorism.

“No one really understands the debate until they see consequences of abortion…”

Ottawa, Canada, Oct 12, 2010 / 06:08 am (CNA).- Ottawa police arrested five people on trespassing charges for attempting to display graphic posters of abortion at Carleton University after the university administration turned down the students’ display application.

Four Carleton students, members of the group Carleton Lifeline, and one other supporter were arrested on trespassing charges on Oct. 4. They tried to display posters from the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP) on the heavily used campus square called the Tory Quad.

The four-by-eight-feet posters show bloody images of aborted fetuses with images from the Holocaust and the Rwandan genocide. They were confiscated and given to police as evidence.

Two Men Still in Jail from Notre Dame ‘Pray-Ins’. “Jane Roe” also arrested.

St_-Joe---Entry

Pro-lifers called upon to write these heroes, and to contact Fr. Jenkins, asking for their release.

SOUTH BEND, Ind., May 19 /Christian Newswire/ — While Obama addressed Notre Dame’s commencement, urging pro-lifers to surrender the rhetoric and actions of political and cultural conflict, over 40 brave souls were in jail or police custody for walking on campus and praying. Thos arrested were holding an image of Mary, or an image of an unborn child.

Two of those arrested are still in jail; Arnold Matheson, age 82, of  Poughkeepsie  NY; and Robert Buchta, age 56  of Center Reach, Long Island. (Jail addresses below.)

Among those arrested was Miss Norma McCorvey, the “Jane Roe” of Roe vs. Wade, and Fr. Norman Weslin, the Founder of Lambs of Christ.

Miss McCorvey stated:

“I have never been arrested at a pro-life event, but I knew in my heart that God wanted me to bear witness against what was happening at Notre Dame. My request to Mr. Obama is this: stop the killing; overturn Roe vs. Wade.”

The irony of Ms. McCorvey’s and the other pro-lifers arrests will be a part of the discussion for years to come; Catholics and Evangelicals were behind bars for defending Life and Justice; while President Obama was honored even though he betrays justice and slays the innocent through his national and international policies.

As of 5:00 PM, May 19, everyone has been bailed out except for two courageous prisoners of conscience. As stated, they are: Arnold Matheson, age 82, of  Poughkeepsie  NY; and Robert Buchta, age 56  of Center Reach, Long Island.

Mr. Matheson and Mr. Buchta, have decided to stay in jail rather than post bail as a further witness for the innocent, and a witness against Notre Dame’s betrayal of Church teaching and the innocent babies they are charged to defend.

They will remain in custody at least until their hearing on June 8th…nearly three weeks from now.

Christians are asked for three things:

1) Please pray for Mr. Matheson and Mr. Buchta. Pray for their safety, and that their witness would reach Pope Benedict, and millions of the faithful around the world.

2) Please call Fr. Jenkins’ office, and politely ask that the charges against these brave men be dismissed. It is an OUTRAGE and a SCANDAL that these men are behind bars at the behest of Notre Dame.

The Main switchboard is: 574-631-5000

Fr. Jenkins office phone number is: 574-631-3903

3) Please write these brave men a note of encouragement. Let them know that they are heroes, that you are praying for them, and that you have called Fr. Jenkins to ask that the charges against them be dropped.

Write to:

Elderly priest brutally arrested by Notre Dame security

.- Arrests of those protesting President Barack Obama’s speech and honorary degree at the University of Notre Dame’s commencement ceremony have continued today. One Southern Baptist pastor reported that he witnessed an elderly priest being dragged on the ground by security.

“I wept when I saw my friends arrested and taken to jail,” the pastor said in a press release. “They almost broke the arm of a priest who appeared to be in his 80s, by dragging him on the ground.”
