According to Eric Scheidler of the Pro Life Action League:
Scheidler plans another protest of Chastine’s Oak Park office in the coming days.
Editor’s note: This gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “killer commute”.
Sometimes it’s possible for us to become so obsessed with winning the war that we fail to win the battle right in front of us.
A few months ago I had the honor of serving with State Senator Mike Crane (R-Newnan) in the Georgia state legislature. In performing research for him, we discovered something that surprised many in the Georgia Right to Life lobby. We discovered that our state — and more than three-fourths of the states in the U.S. — are paying for abortions with their citizens’ tax money. We knew that this was happening on a federal level, but finding out about it at a state level was shocking. That means that most likely your pay check is helping to murder thousands of American babies each year.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is upset the document the United Nations adopted at its Rio+20 conference last week did not promote abortion by inserting terms like “reproductive rights” into the language of the text.
Editor’s note: Maybe if these people were honest about their penchant for world-wide, unrestricted baby-killing they wouldn’t feel so bad when they experience set backs.
Auburn Seminary in New York is honoring Cecile Richards and Cecilia Guthrie as “champions for reproductive healthcare, education and women’s health.” Carmen Fowler LaBerge, of the Presbyterian Lay Committee, says it stems from the idea within the denomination “that you should hold the Bible in one hand and the newspaper in the other, which has resulted in significant cultural accommodation.”
Editor’s note: Who would have ever suspected that “cultural accommodation” would entail “church” support for perversion and baby-killing?
Barkley Stuart, a man who is on the board of directors for the Center for Reproductive Rights, sent out a fundraising email asking for donations, saying, “My mother, Martha Rose Stuart was a tenacious, loving, and very passionate woman. In her honor, I’m proud to make a special contribution to the Center for Reproductive Rights this Mother’s Day. I hope you will join me with a gift in honor of your mother and mothers everywhere today.”
Stuart thanked his mother for teaching him about destroying girls in abortions, saying, “My mother taught me that without reproductive freedom for all women, the world would never be at peace. I fervently believe that still today. That’s why I’m proud to serve on the Board of Directors at the Center for Reproductive Rights. I do this work for my mother, but also for my teenage daughter, Josephine.”
The old guard feminists who insisted that women’s success in the public sphere could only be accomplished by rejecting the “strait-jacket” of motherhood (and killing any intrusive babies) have been roundly displaced by another group of women who say that it’s challenging but possible to juggle it all without murder.
