CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY TO TEACH STUDENTS HOW TO PROMOTE, PROTECT OBAMACARE-COVERED ABORTIONS

The course, “Regulatory Advocacy: Women and the Affordable Care Act,” is set to be taught at Georgetown Law, and it has upset staunch Catholics, according to The Cardinal Newman Society, which first reported on the new academic offering.

“We have long warned about Georgetown scandals that undermine the Church’s strong defense of innocent life,” Patrick Reilly, society president, told Catholic Education Daily. “But here students are being required to work for a pro-abortion lobby, making America’s oldest Catholic university an active agent of the culture of death.”

Catholic University to Name Building for Abortion Backer

Real shame: Notre Dame students have little or no idea what it means to be truly Catholic … or why.

A a recent USA TODAY article, examined the survey “Catholics in America: Persistence and change in the Catholic landscape.”

The survey examined the beliefs and practices of 1,442 U.S. Catholic adults. The research was led by Catholic University sociologist William D’Antonio, and provided detailed information about specific beliefs.

Jesuit “Seamless Garment” scandal brewing as Catholic Seattle University teams up with Planned Parenthood.

Seattle University, a Jesuit Catholic university, is being targeted over its relationship with Planned Parenthood.

The school, which was founded in 1891, is engaging in a relationship with Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion organizations in a way that is entirely inappropriate for a Catholic institution, says Patrick Reilly of the Cardinal Newman Society (CNS).

“Students are actually being referred to Planned Parenthood for so-called ‘sexual health issues’ which, as we know, Planned Parenthood performs nearly a third of the abortions in the United States,” says Reilly. “And promoting internships with Planned Parenthood — encouraging students to get involved with organizations like the National Organization for Women and other pro-abortion organizations.”

Editor’s note: Seattle Archbishop J. Peter Sartain’s office has been made aware of, and has acknowledged the problem, but as of this writing, Seattle University’s College of Arts and Sciences is still advertising the availability of Planned Parenthood of Western Washington student internships.
