Those who think nothing of violently slaughtering pre-born children are now directing their rage against the Catholic Church.

A Catholic Archbishop is savaged in Belgium; protestors at a Catholic Church in Spain block exits and doors; in Chile demonstrators interrupt Mass, demolish confessionals, rip out pews and paint profane sacrilegious graffiti throughout the church.

Pro-abortion feminists under the guise of promoting “choice” carried out these and other attacks in the last few months. Their actions make it seem that they have declared war on the Catholic Church with no regard for parishioners, common decency or law.

Welcome to the pro-choice Jihad.

Planned Parenthood generated $1.2 billion in 2011, destroying one innocent life every 94 seconds.

We all understand why PPFA minimizes the enormous amount of money it takes in from abortion; why it would prefer to talk about anything other than those 339,964 abortions it performed in 2011 (that’s one lost life every 94 seconds); and most of all the grim truth that about one out of every nine women coming through Planned Parenthood’s door will have an abortion!

But all the misleading talk in the world about “only 3%” of its services can’t obscure the reality that PPFA is the largest abortion provider in the nation and is taking aggressive steps to expand that murderous empire — building central abortion megaclinics, adding chemical abortions to their smaller offices, experimenting with technologies such as “webcam” abortions. This can only mean more victims and higher revenues at the abortion giant for years to come.

The ultimate hypocrisy: Convicted abortionist/murderer/baby-killer Kermit Gosnell made a deal and chose life – for himself.

He won’t die by an induced, painless, “humane” death.

He won’t die from a lethal dose of poison or a snip of the spine.

No, when given his last choice as a free human being
in the United States of America, he chose life.

He chose life even if it means he will suffer and be unwanted.

He chose life even if it means
he will be totally dependent on others to take care of him.

It would have been murder if someone had killed him in the outside world.

It would not have been murder if the authorities had killed him in prison.

Prison is the womb he has chosen to live in, and not to die in.

Something to think about.

Maybe the memory of the dead will help secure final victory in the war of abortion.

Romans 1:22: For, professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. (And in public, no less!)

…I would put the life of a mother over the life of a fetus every single time — even if I still need to acknowledge my conviction that the fetus is indeed a life. A life worth sacrificing.

Editor’s note: For, professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. And they changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of the image of a corruptible man and of birds, and of four footed beasts and of creeping things. Wherefore, God gave them up to the desires of their heart, unto uncleanness: to dishonor their own bodies among themselves. Who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause, God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature. And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts, one towards another: men with men, working that which is filthy and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error. And as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to a reprobate sense, to do those things which are not moral. Being filled with all iniquity, malice, fornication, avarice, wickedness: full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity: whisperers, Detractors, hateful to God, contumelious, proud, haughty, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Foolish, dissolute: without affection, without fidelity, without mercy. Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death: and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them. (Romans 1:22-32)

Caution: The Democrats commitment to “Our bodies, our choice,” begins and ends with abortion.

Far from being the natural outgrowth of a broad philosophical commitment to the idea of self-ownership and control of our own bodies, the Democrats stance on the right to abortion is the sole and glaring exception to an ideology that otherwise treats the bodies of women like the bodies of government owned cattle.

Talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words. Despite their rhetorical stances about respecting women’s control of their own bodies, the policy actions Democrats take in all areas except abortion clearly demonstrate they believe the opposite. For Democrat’s, abortion is the exception that proves the rule.

The “right to choose” is a gift from God, but misusing that gift results in divine judgment.

by Doug Lawrence

God created man as a free person, obliged to make all kinds of free-will choices, and to answer for them, come Judgment Day.

One who knowingly and willingly chooses evil has nothing but the mercy of God, on which to rely.

One who knowingly induces others to do evil, by whatever means, shares the responsibility for all the negative consequences that logically follow.

But what of the person who claims their conscience informs them to the contrary … who perceives evil as good … and perhaps, good as evil? What then?

He gets to be President of the United States, and he gets to give a State of the Union speech on national television, in order to try to justify his seriously disordered “take” on things!

May God have mercy on his soul … and if he manages to get himself reelected … on this once great country!

Democrat chairman Schultz doesn’t care about killing women (or men) in the womb.

Wasserman Shultz called the personhood amendments being considered or petitioned for in Mississippi, Ohio, Texas, Kansas, and Florida “the most extreme assault on a woman’s right to choose.”

Personhood amendments define when a human being becomes a “person” under the law. An amendment proposed in Mississippi, for example, says that a person is “every human being from the moment of fertilization, cloning or the functional equivalent thereof.”

Wasserman Shultz said that the Mississippi amendment–which will go before voters on Nov. 8–will outlaw all abortions and some forms of birth control (presumably because they kill human embryos) and also IUDs, the morning-after pill, and in vitro fertilization procedures that create and discard human embyros.

The least compelling argument supporters of legal abortion can make

“It is my body, it is my choice.”

[Actually], in abortion, there are two bodies involved, the body of the pregnant woman and the body of the human being in utero. [They] can be of different blood types and different races, and it can happen that one of them dies and the other lives and vice versa.

If there were only one body involved, then absurdities follow such as that a pregnant woman has two heads, four arms, and, if she is carrying a boy, also a penis.

Further, “choice” is a euphemism disguising the reality. Everyone supports good choices that are just and promote human welfare. The question is whether abortion is such a choice.

New York Times writer makes a case for the existence of Hell.

Atheists have license to scoff at damnation, but to believe in God and not in hell is ultimately to disbelieve in the reality of human choices. If there’s no possibility of saying no to paradise then none of our no’s have any real meaning either. They’re like home runs or strikeouts in a children’s game where nobody’s keeping score.

In this sense, a doctrine of universal salvation turns out to be as deterministic as the more strident forms of scientific materialism. Instead of making us prisoners of our glands and genes, it makes us prisoners of God himself. We can check out any time we want, but we can never really leave.

The doctrine of hell, by contrast, assumes that our choices are real, and, indeed, that we are the choices that we make. The miser can become his greed, the murderer can lose himself inside his violence, and their freedom to turn and be forgiven is inseparable from their freedom not to do so.

A Couple of Interesting Reader Comments

I received a couple of emails from Ed S. today. I thought they were definitely worth posting. Please take a look:

Is God Pro Choice?
All  religions and  most  people believe that God has a choice when supplies a soul at the conception of an embryo. Before the conception, God knows all the details of the couple who are doing the  sex act. Why then does he create a soul and  permit conception, knowing the child is unwanted?
We all know people that are not able to conceive. Nationwide, there are 200,000 families waiting to adopt a baby.
Could God, be connecting the dots? Could he, like in the academy award winning movie ‘Juno’, give the  pregnant woman a chance to answer the prayer of would be, adoptive parents?
The Government should help connect mothers of unwanted babies with parents who need babies.
Let’s make it mandatory that these woman be given a notice that people are waiting for her baby and will pay expenses. Then she and God could be in agreement with her choice.

Babies who are the product of rape
I met a young woman whose mom, when pregnant with her, went to an abortion clinic to get an abortion, but when  she  saw the dirty and depressing procedure rooms, she decided to have the baby and put her up for adoption (like Juno did, in the  academy award winning  movie.)
The daughter of that woman grew up and went to law school.
One day, when life issues came up in her law classes, she gave her testimony, which was met with indignance by her professor and many of her fellow students. She was even told that her mom should have followed through with the abortion! (You  would think that law school’s would have rules against bulling?)
When we put a face on “rape babies” the hollow argument for “choice” [the woman’s right to choose {WHAT?} the  death of a  beautiful, young person-to-be] The real face of “rape babies” needs to be seen. And the plot to exterminate them needs to be exposed.
Lets vote for pro life candidates, and ask them to subsidize adoption. Not abortion!

Tenor Andrea Bocelli Tells a True Story About Abortion (that almost killed him)

So, for this occasion I want to tell you a little story. This is how the story goes: A young pregnant wife has been hospitalized for a simple attack of appendicitis. The doctors had to apply some ice on her stomach and when the treatments ended the doctors suggested that she abort the child. They told her it was the best solution because the baby would be born with some disability. But the young brave wife decided not to abort, and the child was born.

That woman was my mother, and I was the child. Maybe I’m partisan but I can say that it was the right choice.

And I hope this could encourage many mothers that sometime find themselves in difficult situations in those moments when life is complicated but want to save the life of their baby. ….

Pro-Life Activist Lila Rose Attacked by Planned Parenthood Abortion Center Escort

Rose tells LifeNews.com she was visiting the abortion center with a group of about 20 students and three adults to pray and provide information to women who might be open to abortion alternatives.

According to a police report filed at the scene and numerous witnesses, a uniformed Planned Parenthood escort engaged in a short exchange with Rose and eventually struck her on the hand, knocking her literature to the ground.

“Sir, are you familiar with the abortion procedure?” Rose asked the Planned Parenthood escort while standing on the public sidewalk.

The escort approached Rose from the Planned Parenthood parking lot and said, “You idiot. You’ve caused so much trouble. You piece of crap.”

Rose told LifeNews.com today: “The man appeared to recognize me though I had never met him. He knew who I was and I think that is part of the reason for his surprising anger and the attack.”

Rose offered to show the escort a picture of a baby victimized by abortion, saying, “Can I show you a picture of what it really does to a baby?”

At this point, the escort struck Rose’s hand knocking her pro-life pamphlets and Bible to the ground and Rose stepped further back on the public sidewalk.

The Planned Parenthood official moved closer to Rose and, visibly shaking, says, “It’s a woman’s choice!”

“What about the baby’s choice?” Rose responds.

The Planned Parenthood escort replied, “It’s not a baby!” and then turned around and walked away.

Note to Congress: Real freedom is the choosing of the good.

050514-F-7203T-005One should not be worried about whether one is free, but rather about what one does with that freedom. There is no virtue in being free; the virtue comes in the actions that stem from our freedom of choice. Real freedom is the choosing of the good.

Report on the April Pro Life Rally in Aurora, Illinois

I’m excited to report that Saturday’s “It’s a Matter of LIFE &
DEATH” rally was a huge success — despite the harsh, chilly winds.

Or maybe I should say “because of”. The fact that it was such an
unseasonably cold day REALLY pumped up the crowd of over 400
courageous pro-lifers.

We packed both sides of New York Street with picket signs and large
pictures showing the beauty of life and the horror of abortion.

Along Oakhurst, the poignant “Cemetery for Choice” mourned the deaths
of mothers who have died having abortions, while farther down
Oakhurst 100 pro-lifers prayed for an end to abortion.

The rally concluded with a thrilling “Balloons for Life” launch,
with hundreds of pink and blue balloons soaring aloft, each
representing a baby saved from abortion by pro-life ministry.

For pictures and more details, check out Matt’s report on the blog:

Religious questions

Q: Religious questions?

*Christian beliefs*
Do you get judged before you walk to Heaven or are you put on a path and follow it? What is heaven concerning all the different beliefs that people have? When you are judged do you physically meet Jesus? Will you see your family in Heaven?

I was just wondering about these things.

ANSWERS:
Q: Do you get judged before you walk to Heaven or are you put on a path and follow it?

A: You CHOOSE a path, hopefully in response to God’s grace. Judgment determines how well your “path” matched up with the one that God had in mind for you.

Q: What is heaven concerning all the different beliefs that people have?

A: Heaven is where God dwells, with his angels and his saints. We know little more about it.

Q: When you are judged do you physically meet Jesus?

A: As far as we know, yes. Some will wish it was not so, since judgment may not be pleasant.

Q: Will you see your family in Heaven?

A: It would be inconceivable for our loving God, who has both a mother and a father, as well as his very own aunts, uncles, cousins, and the like, to eternally separate us from our own loved ones.

The likelihood is that we truly will come to know and love ALL those who came before us, since the beginning of time.

All this is based on a Catholic view of things.
