Old movie about the takeover of Hungary and the Soviet/Communist persecution of Cardinal Mindeszenty should serve as a wake-up call for today’s citizenry!

guilty

Hungarian Cardinal Mindeszenty is imprisoned as an enemy of the Communist state. A propaganda film typical of the 1950s, but based on a real-life incident; includes a powerful trial scene. (1949; B&W)

  • Starring: Charles Bickford, Paul Kelly
  • Directed by: Felix E. Feist
  • Runtime: 1 hour 27 minutes
  • Release year: 2005
  • Studio: Synergy Ent

Watch free on Amazon Prime or buy the DVD.

Editor’s note: The torture, trial and political intimidation portrayed in this in this film is unfortunately, now coming back into style. The deadly and totally scurrilous tactics should give every free person pause, since tyranny and despotism is typically only one war … or one election … away … even in these United States.

Cardinal Mindeszenty is both a heroic and a tragic figure, since he stood up against the godless Soviets virtually alone – refusing to compromise his Catholic faith. Unfortunately, Pope Paul VI and the Vatican policy makers had no problem eventually cutting the Cardinal loose, for purely political reasons, as part of their post Vatican II ecumenical outreach to the communists.

Watching the Soviets complete take over and subversion of the Hungarian government unfold, I couldn’t help thinking how the same thing was accomplished only a few years later in the Catholic Church, by certain nameless, faceless Vatican elitists – and only a few years after that, in 1968, when the hippies occupied the streets of Chicago and succeeded in wresting control of the Democratic Party from the “old guard” – eventually turning that party into a collection of fruits, nuts, baby-killers and tyrannical Marxist/socialist ideologues (the likes of Bill and Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein and a cast of many thousands more.)

Watch “Guilty of Treason” and see if it doesn’t make a similar impact on you. We may be experiencing similar events in this country, very soon!

Thanks to Thomas A. Droleskey for the tip.

Evidently, diversity and inclusion goes right out the window when the money stops – if you’re a left-wing, progressive (pro-abort, pro-homosexual, pro-big government, Socialist-Democrat) Catholic.

This piece never fails to indict conservative Catholics for their faithfulness – and it never fails to praise those who have shamelessly and often fraudulently been using Catholic money for anti-Catholic purposes, over the last 40 years.

A number of Catholic bishops have allegedly endorsed this report. That should come as no surprise.

The Divine Mercy and Nine Days That Changed the World

nine_days

by Doug Lawrence

Our parish Divine Mercy Sunday Committee decided to do things a bit differently this year. Rather than simply showing one of the several good, traditional Divine Mercy videos early on Sunday afternoon, they decided instead to have two Saturday showings of “Divine Mercy, No Escape”
the story of Saint Faustina Kowalsa, with the late Helen Hayes doing the narration, plus a 1:15 pm Sunday showing of  “Nine Days That Changed the World” – Newt and Callista Gingrich’s 2010 excellent documentary about Poland, The Catholic Church, Pope John Paul II and the fall of the Soviet Union.

Other than the extremely tight interval between the end of the 95-minute video and the start of the 3:00 Divine Mercy Holy Hour, the showing was hugely successful and nothing less than inspiring.

The SnagFilms website is hosting the video on line
and you can watch it for free.

Here’s what they have to say about it:

Nine Days That Changed the World Synopsis

Pope John Paul II’s historic nine-day pilgrimage to Poland in June of 1979 created a revolution of conscience that transformed Poland and fundamentally reshaped the spiritual and political landscape of the 20th Century.

Newt and Callista Gingrich, along with a Polish, American, and Italian cast, explore what transpired during these nine days that moved the Polish people to renew their hearts, reclaim their courage, and free themselves from the shackles of Communism.

Millions of Poles, almost one third of the nation, turned out to see the Holy Father in person, while the rest of the country followed his pilgrimage on television and radio. Within sixteen months, Solidarity became the first officially recognized free trade union in the Communist bloc, with over 10 million members. The momentum of this nine-day visit would eventually lead to the fall of the Berlin Wall in November of 1989 and the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991.

I can tell you that the documentary actually covers a 10-12 year period, chronicling a chain of unlikely events, unparalleled in modern world history, that did indeed change the world. And it happened without the violence and bloodshed that typically accompanies these types of major, geopolitical upheavals (think: Arab Spring).

There’s a lot of great historical information, a lot of terrific newsreel footage of Pope John Paul II in Poland and elsewhere and a lot of powerful, inspiring stuff that should make every Catholic feel truly blessed … and make non-Catholics think seriously about converting … which is something that Newt Gingrich actually did!

There’s also great lessons in the video for all of today’s Catholics … in particular, our American Catholic bishops … about how to deal effectively with would-be tyrants, recalcitrant politicians and godless secularists.

President Barack Obama should watch this video … not that it would do him much good. I think he would at first, be jealous … and later, fearful.  And well he should be!

Happy Easter! Happy Divine Mercy Sunday!

Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Seen on the web: Abortion doesn’t un-pregnantify you: it just kills your kid.

Margaret Sanger has been lauded by some as a woman of valor, but a closer look reveals that Planned Parenthood’s audacious founder had some unsavory things to say about matters of race, birth control, and abortion.

An outspoken eugenicist herself, Sanger consistently promoted racist ideals with a contemptuous attitude. Read on to learn why Planned Parenthood hides behind a false memory of Sanger, and why, despite her extraordinarily prolific writing career, one rarely sees her quoted by Planned Parenthood leaders and apologists.

Cardinal George: The very real dangers of being on the wrong side of things.

Eternity enters into human history in often incomprehensible ways. God makes promises but gives no timelines.

Visiting the shrine at Fatima, pilgrims enter a huge plaza, with the spot of the apparitions marked by a small chapel to one side, a large church at one end, an equally large adoration chapel at the other end, and a center for visitors and for the hearing of confessions. Just outside the main grounds, a section of the Berlin Wall has been re-built, a stark witness to what Mary had talked about almost a century ago. Communism in Russia and its satellite nations has collapsed, although many of its sinful effects are still with us.

Communism imposed a total way of life based upon the belief that God does not exist. Secularism is communism’s better-scrubbed bedfellow.

A small irony of history cropped up at the United Nations a few weeks ago when Russia joined the majority of other nations to defeat the United States and the western European nations that wanted to declare that killing the unborn should be a universal human right.

Who is on the wrong side of history now?

Dangerous Flirting: Russian Wonders Why West Is Enamored With Socialism

He explains that he finds the Obama administration’s socialist leanings particularly disturbing, and draws attention to a hero of President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton: Saul Alinsky, a neo-Marxist writer who dedicated his first book to none other than the Devil, whom he saw as the first successful revolutionary to overthrow the “oppressive regime of God.” (Alinsky’s exact words were: “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”).

Komov believes that if you “dig deep enough into the ideological roots of these socialist movements, you end up finding satanic roots in them.” And although only a softer version is prevalent now, “it is still very dangerous,” he says. “I would warn all those people fascinated by socialist ideas that they have never worked in human history — never worked.”

The traditional nuclear family is a particular enemy of socialism, he says, because it is the basic institution that preserves values and passes them on to the next generation. “The state, if it wants to dominate life and the individual from birth to death, needs to destroy the family, because the family is independent of the state,” he argues. “As Marx and Engels said, the family is a repressive, bourgeois institution that needs to be destroyed; they need to get rid of its patriarchal power and that of Christianity because they are the main obstacles of the social revolution.”

Father Andrew addresses the Colorado Republican State Assembly and (verbally) hits one out of the park!

Fr. Andrew – “Socialists do not accept biblical truth.
They do not understand natural law…”

Fr. Andrew was invited to lead the opening prayer at the 2012 Colorado Republican State Assembly and Convention in the Magness Arena at the University of Denver. The moral challenges facing our country are not caused by political affiliation, but rather by attacks on religious freedom.  He invites all people of conscience to uphold religious freedom.

“The Church has rejected the totalitarian and atheistic ideologies associated in modem times with ‘communism’ or ‘socialism.'” – Catechism of the Catholic Church 2425

Breitbart book helps us to recognize the insidious enemy working from within to destroy America.

Aside from the Soviet empire and the 100 million people killed at the hands of Communist brutality, Marxism has always had its cultural warriors. Nothing impedes their advance so much as the United States of America.

Our enemies long ago concluded that bringing the U.S. to its knees would involve control of the culture — the everyday lives, and the everyday thoughts, of the citizens.

Breitbart saw those forces at work as a student at Tulane University — what he calls a cultural fascisti. What he saw was campus thought control: elites who decided “what was okay to think and what to write, what words meant, and who was allowed to say them. There were (and are) tribunals without oversight, as kids have been thrown out of college for uttering the wrong sentiments.”

But Tulane was a mere microcosm. Cultural Marxism was (and is) pervasive in the mainstream media, Hollywood, education (K-higher ed), and straight on into the government.

America did not simply wake up in the mid-sixties and suddenly embrace the rebellious counter-culture that would define the era. No, those seeds had been planted decades earlier.

Striking similarities between Islam and Communism/National Socialism

Scholar Ibn Warraq notes that diverse figures, including Czeslaw Milosz, Carl Jung, and Karl Barth have spotted striking similarities between Islam and Communism or National Socialism; atheist Bertrand Russell felt, for example, that “Bolshevism is to be reckoned with Mohammedanism rather than with Christianity and Buddhism.”

The estimable Theodore Dalrymple has also referred to Islam as the Marxism of our times, though he feels its totalitarian tendencies are borne of an inherent weakness: its inability to withstand philosophical scrutiny.

What St. Thomas Aquinas said about Islam

The late Alexander Solzhenitsyn on the Culture of Death

In one sense, of course, the secular fundamentalist experiment which was the Soviet Union floundered and fell after almost a century of bloody excesses culminating ultimately in the killing of tens of millions of people. But it did flounder and fall in the late ’80s and early ’90s. But what we’re really talking about here is big government, and big government animated by a secular fundamentalist philosophy. In other words, ultimately, that enemy is still very much present and we are still in danger of lurching blindly in a belief that problems can be solved by big government and that problems that are caused by the lack of God can be solved by a godless response.

So in that sense the lessons haven’t been learned, and the lessons haven’t been learned in the West, absolutely, that we could be lurching toward a secular fundamentalist big government, regardless of whether or not it quotes Karl Marx, it’s basically of the same spirit. That’s exactly what Solzhenitsyn was getting at in his Harvard address — that the spirit that unites communism and decadent materialism in the West is this secular fundamentalist materialism, this atheism at the root of politics and the root of society and how that leads ultimately to a culture of death.

For leftist believers, the jihadist terror war now promised to succeed where Communism had failed: to obliterate the capitalist system itself.

In the blink of an eye after the Twin Towers went down, leftists were beating their breasts with repentance for their own government’s supposed crimes and characterizing the tragedy that their nation had just suffered to be some form of karmic justice.

Immediately following the 9/11 attack, leftist academics led with a drum roll. The very next day after the terrorist strike, Chomsky exonerated the terrorists, stating that the Clinton administration’s bombing of the pharmaceutical plant in Sudan constituted a far more serious terrorist act and warning that 9/11 would be exploited by the United States as an excuse to destroy Afghanistan.

Leftist academics across the country echoed Chomsky’s themes, cheering the 9/11 terrorist acts, which they deemed a just retribution for America’s transgressions.

As Communism is an ideological religion, Islam is a religious ideology.

The absolute political sovereignty of Islam, across the entire expanse of the world, over every living human being, is demanded by all the authoritative sources of Islamic faith: the text of the eternal, irreformable, absolutely flawless and uncreated Qur’an; the burden of the sacred Hadiths that give the authoritative life of the last prophet of God; and the lifetime example (as depicted in these two sources) of that prophet who is the “excellent example” of perfect human conduct.

Any variety of Islam that arises which renounces world supremacy, religious intolerance, the persecution of polytheists, the subjugation of Jews and Christians, the jizya, the oppressive marital laws and unequal sexual arrangements of Sharia would be heretical–as heretical as a variant of Christianity that renounced the divinity of Christ.

Popular Gnostic myths

At bottom, Darwinism is a Gnostic myth, notes Dr. Wolfgang Smith, physicist and mathematics professor at Oregon State University:

“…As a scientific theory, Darwinism would have been jettisoned long ago. The point, however, is that the doctrine of evolution has swept the world, not on the strength of its scientific merits, but precisely in its capacity as a Gnostic myth. It affirms, in effect, that living things created themselves, which is in essence a metaphysical claim….Thus…evolutionism is a metaphysical doctrine decked out in scientific garb….it is a scientistic myth. And the myth is Gnostic, because it implicitly denies the transcendent origin of being; for indeed, only after the living creature has been speculatively reduced to an aggregate of particles does Darwinist transformism become conceivable. Darwinism, therefore, continues the ancient Gnostic practice of deprecating ‘God the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth.’ It perpetuates…the venerable Gnostic tradition of ‘Jehovah bashing.'” (From Old Gnosticism to New Age I, Alan Morrison, SCP Journal Vol. 28:4-29:1, 2005, pp. 30-31)

Gnostics

Historically, Gnostics have always been notorious God-haters to the extent of consigning Him to hell. The early Church Fathers called them the “lawless ones,” as they were idolizers of their own minds, rebels against all authority, immoralists, hedonists, and builders of alternative realities (utopian fantasies) requiring the death of God, for the heart of Gnosticism is “man is god.”

While the infamous Tower of Babel was history’s first Gnostic project, the Soviet Union and Socialist Germany are modern versions. In his book “Science, Politics, & Gnosticism,” esteemed political philosopher Eric Voegelin (1901-85) identifies progressivism, positivism, Hegelianism, Marxism, and the “God is dead” school as modern Gnostic movements. All of these movements are firmly grounded on the Gnostic myth of Darwinism.

In their rage against God the Father, modern Gnostics refuse to be created in His spiritual image, thus they conceptually “uncreate” themselves through reductionism, which in the words of Wolfgang Smith, means that they speculatively reduce themselves to “aggregates of particles.” Reductionism is a tenet of the philosophy of materialism.

National Education Association (NEA) promotes communism in YOUR schools

From coast to coast, news stories abound about communist indoctrination in U.S. schools. For example, the New York Times recently reported that a teacher working at Beacon High School in New York City had pictures of Che Guevara and Fidel Castro on the walls of his classroom, took students on a field trip to Cuba, and bluntly admitted to the school principal that he’s a communist. And Fox News recently reported that students at Black Pine Circle School in Berkeley, California created a mosaic that included symbols of communism and a prediction that “capitalism will fail.”

Students in California are sent home for wearing American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo while students around the country are allowed to wear T-shirts with images of Che Guevara, the communist revolutionary and mass murderer.

American children are not being taught that Alinsky’s “paradise of communism” has never shown up. They are not learning that the world’s greatest famines and mass murders have occurred under communist regimes.

And the NEA wants to keep it that way.

10 Reasons to Reject Socialism

1. Socialism and communism are the same ideology

Communism is but an extreme form of socialism. From the ideological standpoint, there is no substantial difference between the two. In fact, the communist Soviet Union called itself the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (1922-1991) and communist China, Cuba and Vietnam define themselves as socialist nations.

2. Socialism violates personal freedom

Socialism seeks to eliminate “injustice” by transferring rights and responsibilities from individuals and families to the State. In the process, socialism actually creates injustice. It destroys true liberty: the freedom to decide all matters that lie within our own competence and to follow the course shown by our reason, within the laws of morality, including the dictates of justice and charity.

3. Socialism violates human nature

Socialism is anti-natural. It destroys personal initiative – a fruit of our intellect and free will – and replaces it with State control. It tends to totalitarianism, with its government and police repression, wherever it is implemented.

4. Socialism violates private property

Socialism calls for “redistributing the wealth” by taking from the “rich” to give to the poor. It imposes taxes that punish those who have been able to take greater advantage of their productive talents, capacity to work or thrift. It uses taxation to promote economic and social egalitarianism, a goal that will be fully achieved, according to The Communist Manifesto, with the “abolition of private property.”

5. Socialism opposes traditional marriage

Socialism sees no moral reason for people to restrict sex to marriage, that is, to an indissoluble union between a man and a woman. Furthermore, socialism undermines private property, which Friedrich Engels, founder of modern socialism and communism along with Karl Marx, saw as the foundation of traditional marriage.

6. Socialism opposes parental rights in education

Socialism has the State, and not parents, control the education of children. Almost from birth, children are to be handed over to public institutions, where they will be taught what the State wants, regardless of parental views. Evolution must be taught. School prayer must be forbidden.

7. Socialism promotes radical equality

A supposed absolute equality among men is the fundamental assumption of socialism. Therefore, it sees any inequality as unjust in itself. Private employers are quickly portrayed as “exploiters” whose profits really belong to their employees. As a consequence, they rule out the system of wage earning.

8. Socialism promotes atheism

Belief in God, who unlike us is infinite, omnipotent and omniscient, clashes head-on with the principle of absolute equality. Socialism therefore rejects the spiritual, claiming that only matter exists. God, the soul, and the next life are illusions according to socialism.

9. Socialism promotes relativism

For socialism there are no absolute truths or revealed morals that establish standards of conduct that apply to everyone, everywhere, and always. Everything evolves, including right and wrong, good and evil. There is no place for the Ten Commandments, neither in the private mind nor in the public square.

10. Socialism mocks religion

According to Karl Marx, religion is “the opium of the people.” Lenin, founder of the Soviet Union, agreed: “Religion is opium for the people. Religion is a sort of spiritual booze in which the slaves of capital drown their human image, their demand for a life more or less worthy of man.”

May God protect America from socialism.

Putting Hitler and Stalin into proper “context”

Oliver Stone says his upcoming Showtime documentary series Secret History of America will put the 20th century’s star butchers Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin “in context.”

Hitler and Stalin

That Hollywood would glorify Stalin is hardly a shock to anyone. If you go back to many Cold War-era movies, you will find tortured excuses — even fulsome praise — for Mother Russia.

Only Nazi Germany was allowed to appear on the screen as evil incarnate. For decades, Hitler has been the perfect role model as villain — right out of “central casting.” The highest-priced Hollywood talent scout could not have given the movie moguls a better gift. Funny mustache, silly goose-step, the “Sieg Heil” salutes, a “Master Race” theory, his evil shouting speeches. And that’s before we even learned about the gas chambers and the Holocaust.

Stalin was smarter about his evil. He murdered millions — but — he did not shout himself hoarse in public. He kept his mouth shut, and just did it. A good Hollywood producer can’t do as much with that. Hitler, by contrast, was in the world’s face as he committed mass murder.

Revolt against God leads to strange and terrifying changes to society

It is becoming ever more evident that the greatest crisis in Western societies today is a crisis of religious and moral perceptions. In his highly acclaimed essay Revolt Against God: America’s Spiritual Despair, William Bennett argued that by most measures of civilised morality the United States had become an increasingly decadent society. He stated that the only way out of the moral and cultural quagmire was through a return to religion which would provide the basis for a rediscovery of virtue and moral vision. Bennett noted that social regression and exploding rates of crime in the United States were accompanied by “a disturbing reluctance in our time to talk seriously about matters spiritual and religious.” He added that perhaps all of this had something “to do with the modern sensibility’s profound discomfort with the language and the commandments of God.”

The moral failings of the West stem from a runaway pluralism which sees practically all beliefs and lifestyles as possessing equal moral value. Despite the many enigmas that punctuate its history, Western civilisation thrived on a consensus based on the Judeo-Christian vision whereby the vocation of the human person was seen as a call to freedom understood as the ability to carry out one’s duty towards God and neighbour.

The shape of the Western world today has been heavily influenced by certain intellectual currents which have sought to liberate human consciousness from all dependence upon God. In this setting, the human person is no longer recognised as a being made in the image and likeness of God, but is instead reduced to the status of an educated ape. In consequence of this reductionism, it is asserted that there is no created human nature that bespeaks an objective and universal moral law. As Solzhenitsyn pointed out in his famous Harvard address in 1978, it was this rebellion against God and the moral law that lay at the heart of the oppressive ideologies of recent centuries such as secular liberalism, communism and national socialism. Common to these ideologies is the belief that one can be good and virtuous without God.

A Specter is Haunting America — Socialism

Socialism is described currently as a system of social and economic organization based on collective or state ownership and administration of the means of production. It is also a philosophical and political theory, in addition to the political movement trying to establish this system. Thus, socialism is more than an economic system. It is a doctrinal system that proposes a major change in lifestyle and social structures.

In fact, as Jesuit philosopher Fr. Victor Cathrein has rightly pointed out:

“We call Socialism a system of political economy, not as if it did not also lead to many political and social changes, but because the gist of socialism consists in the nationalization of property and in the public administration and distribution of all goods.”

Nevertheless, “The fundamental principles of socialism belong not to economical but to metaphysical science. Foremost among its tenets is the equality of man…”[5]

Socialism is, therefore, much more than an economic, social or political system: it is a whole view of man and the universe. It is what the Germans call a Weltanshauung (a comprehensive view of the world and human life).

It is this worldview, grounded on egalitarian metaphysics, that will be the object of this explanation.

Preliminary Remark: Socialism and Communism

From the ideological or philosophical standpoint, there is no substantial difference, properly speaking, between communism and socialism. The founders of modern communism −Karl Marx and Frederick Engels− called themselves “socialists.”[6]

The very motherland of communism, the Soviet Union, called itself the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; likewise Communist China, Cuba and Vietnam define themselves as socialist.[7]

Socialism can be applied in varying degrees. Thus, in practice, there can be a difference between an incomplete application of socialism and full-blown communism, which is socialism taken to its ultimate consequences.

After McCarthy, Communism “morphed” into the New Left, Counter Culture, Big Labor, Civil Rights, Anti War and Woman’s Liberation Movements, and plethora of NGO’s, Liberal, Zionist, and Gay Rights groups.

“A SECRET WELL-ORGANIZED WORLD POWER”

Bella Dodd was circumspect about the people behind the Communist Party. She once was told to phone two multi-millionaires who live in the Waldorf Towers if she lost contact with Moscow. Elsewhere, she refers to “a secret well organized world power.” She is obviously afraid to be candid. She suspects that one CPUSA leader’s “suicide” was in fact murder. (172)

But she does drop a possible clue. She says that each of the nine floors of the party-owned headquarters at 35 E. 12th St. was devoted to CPUSA business. The Sixth Floor held “the publication offices of the Yiddish newspaper, the Freiheit, and the “Jewish Commission.” (162) Indeed Jews were prominent among Communist dupes.

“What now became clear to me was the collusion of these two forces: the Communists with their timetable for world control, and certain mercenary forces in the free world bent on making profits from blood.” (229)

As “one piece of the puzzle that finally became a picture,” Dodd tells the story of the ship “Erica Reed” typical of “hundreds of other stories.” During the Spanish Civil War, Americans donated money to load the ship with medical supplies and food for Spain. The Communists diverted the ship to Russia instead. (89)

Censorship is crucial to Communists, Dodd says. “I have often seen leaders pull books from shelves in homes and warn members to destroy them.”(223)

Communism is essentially a deceitful system of international elite control. It was not suppressed during the McCarthy era. Rather it morphed into the New Left, Counter Culture, Civil Rights, Anti War and Woman’s Liberation Movements, and later into a plethora of elite-sponsored NGO’s, and media, Democratic and Republican party factions, Liberal, Zionist, Labor, and Gay Rights groups. Like the CPUSA itself, these groups are controlled from the top so their memberships are unaware of being used.

To the objection that some of the above mentioned groups oppose globalization, Dodd refers to examples where the CPUSA ostensibly supported causes they wished to sabotage. (205)

In conclusion, Communism was/is a plot designed to substitute a cabal of the rich for the rule of God. It is a utopian fraud hatched by the rich to thwart the dreams of ordinary people and stunt human progress. The same cabal is behind most wars including the impending attack on Iraq.

A precursor to the new world order, Communism espouses brotherhood, peace and equality in order to deceive us. It has taken over society’s eyes, ears, mind and spirit. Much of what passes for truth in the media and schools is part of this monstrous con job. The expression “politically correct” in widespread use in America is an old Communist Party term. Our politicians are mostly traitors.

Feminism is Communist both in origin and spirit. It pretends to champion women but in fact neuters both sexes and destroys the basic social unit, the family. The promotion of homosexuality as a “lifestyle choice” for heterosexuals is also part of this brazen elitist fraud designed to “create new types of human beings who would conform…”

Western Civilization is like a ship floundering in a sea of evil, yet the passengers are too duped and distracted to realize it. Bella Dodd had the courage to sound the alarm 50 years ago. It is never too late to begin to resist tyranny.

There are no lifeboats.

How and why Obamacare is a social justice nightmare for the whole world

The Doctrines on Social Justice are, perhaps, the most misunderstood and lied-about facets of the Catholic faith.  Just about everyone in public life, including even the majority of Catholics themselves, completely ignore the fundamentals of Social Justice teaching.  They summarily conclude that Social Justice is a synonym for socialist redistributive policies, which seek to equalize material outcomes for all.  I call this the Kumbayah Fallacy.

These nuns have fallen hook, line and sinker for the Kumbayah Fallacy.  Right along with all the liberation theologians, who have shamefully wrapped Marxist doctrine around the cross of Christ for decades.

This mingling of socialism with Christianity makes a diabolical mockery of the Church’s genuine Social Doctrine, as delineated in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.  In fact, the Catholic Church explicitly rebukes all forms of “communism” and “socialism” right there in plain sight in the Catechism.  While the Church also condemns completely unfettered capitalism, with no regulations whatsoever, She saves most condemnation for the Marxist doctrines, which attempt to regulate the economy “solely by centralized planners,” as this “perverts the basis of social bonds” between human beings.

While President Obama has made wide use of his claim to fighting for Social Justice, especially with his zeal towards a government takeover of our healthcare system, he has utterly ignored the natural – fully predictable – unintended consequences of his attempt to reorder the best medical delivery system the world has ever created.

In fact, this reordering of the American medical delivery system to suit the whims of socialist reformers, President Obama is ensuring a genuine Social Justice nightmare for the whole world.
