Schweizer: the “bigger problem” in Washington “is not bribery but extortion,”

…the information he discovered about Obama’s Justice Department validates that.

“They can literally identify laws and pressure points and intimidate very, very powerful corporations and individuals into basically paying protection money or getting them to lay off their political activities for fear they can have the book thrown at them or bad things will happen to their company,” Schweizer said.

Schweizer has also detailed how there was statistical proof that the chances of being prosecuted get lessened if companies and individuals under investigation make donations. He has also detailed in the book how the Obama administration’s Justice Department targeted industries and individuals that supported the Tea Party movement after the historic 2010  midterm elections.

Former abortionist’s Congressional testimony on problem pregnancies: No need to kill baby in order to save mother’s life.

Before a Suction D&E procedure can be performed, the cervix must first be sufficiently dilated. In my practice, this was accomplished with serial placement of laminaria. Laminaria is a type of sterilized seaweed that absorbs water over several hours and swells to several times its original diameter. Multiple placements of several laminaria at a time are absolutely required prior to attempting a suction D&E.

In the mid second trimester, this requires approximately 36 hours to accomplish. When utilizing the D&X abortion procedure, popularly known as Partial-Birth Abortion, this process requires three days as explained by Dr. Martin Haskell in his 1992 paper that first described this type of abortion.

In cases where a mother’s life is seriously threatened by her pregnancy,
a doctor more often than not doesn’t have 36 hours,
much less 72 hours, to resolve the problem.
Let me illustrate with a real -life case that I managed
while at the Albany Medical Center.

A patient arrived one night at 28 weeks gestation with severe pre-eclampsia or toxemia. Her blood pressure on admission was 220/160. As you are probably aware, a normal blood pressure is approximately 120/80. This patient’s pregnancy was a threat to her life and the life of her unborn child. She could very well be minutes or hours away from a major stroke. This case was managed successfully by rapidly stabilizing the patient’s blood pressure and “terminating” her pregnancy by Cesarean section. She and her baby did well.

This is a typical case in the world of high-risk obstetrics.
In most such cases, any attempt to perform an abortion
“to save the mother’s life”
would entail undue and dangerous delay
in providing appropriate, truly life-saving care.

During my time at Albany Medical Center I managed hundreds of such cases by “terminating”pregnancies to save mother’s lives. In all those hundreds of cases, the number of unborn children that I had to deliberately kill was zero.

Kathleen Sebelius is the most corrupt and arrogant HHS secretary in history.

tiller-sebelius2

In reality, of course, Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats who infest Congress and the Obama administration constitute the most corrupt gang of grifters ever to have descended on Washington and the hapless American electorate.

The only real question is: Who is the worst?

Many would bestow this dubious honor on Pelosi herself. Others would favor her Senate counterpart, Harry Reid. More than a few would, of course, nominate Eric Holder. And still others would push the suit of President Obama for the “most corrupt” award. All are tough contenders, without a doubt, and each has certainly earned at least a dishonorable mention. Nonetheless, for my money, HHS secretary Kathleen Sebelius wins the prize.

Congressman Ron Paul hits one out of the park…

In a sprawling, 52-minute speech to the House chamber, Paul lambasted U.S. government, politicians and special interests, declaring that the U.S. people must return to virtue before thegovernment allows them to be free, and that the Constitution has failed to limit the scope of an authoritarian bureaucracy.

“Our Constitution, which was intended to limit government power and abuse, has failed,” Paul said. “The Founders warned that a free society depends on a virtuous and moral people. The current crisis reflects that their concerns were justified.”

For the retiring Republican, 77, the “current crisis” isn’t quite what it is for other members of Congress, who routinely use that word to describe the economic recession that followed the 2008 financial crash. To the Texas Republican, that’s part of it, but the causes are deeper, and it’s also a crisis of governmental authoritarianism and the vanishing of personal liberty.

“If it’s not accepted that big government, fiat money, ignoring liberty, central economic planning, welfarism, and warfarism caused our crisis, we can expect a continuous and dangerous march toward corporatism and even fascism with even more loss of our liberties,” said Paul, an obstetrician-gynecologist by training.

The politician’s dirty little secret: Planned Parenthood is really a “quasi-governmental agency” (like the Post Office)

by Doug Lawrence

After the failure of LBJ’s “Great Society” welfare program, where single moms received a bigger and bigger monthly check from the government, the more children they had … so long as there was no husband/father at home … the government turned to abortion and baby-killing in order to save money by reducing the number of poor people on the government dole.

Catholic politicians hired crooked theologians to fabricate policies and excuses that would permit abortion under almost every circumstance, and most non-Catholic politicians willingly went along.

The Supreme Court did their part with the trumped up and totally phony Roe v Wade, while the Catholic hierarchy … thanks primarily to the late Cardinal Bernardin, was both complicit and almost totally negligent in their lack of a sufficient, timely, and moral response to all of the above.

Planned Parenthood was subsequently given a huge annual subsidy by the federal government, along with generous supplemental funding from many of the states. Making birth control available to the masses was said to be the official objective, but abortion on demand, across the land, was always the real goal.

Abort as many black and hispanic babies as possible
in order to cheaply and efficiently
solve the poverty problem in the United States
through attrition.

It would be several years before the American public took notice of this particular paradigm shift, and by then it had gone way too far to be stopped.

Forty years later, Planned Parenthood still receives nearly a million dollars a day in federal subsidies. Abortion is still legal, still protected and still officially sanctioned by the U.S. Government.

Even though the God-fearing Democrats are known to absolutely love abortion, this is not strictly a partisan issue.

When the the Republicans recently controlled both houses of Congress as well as the Presidency, they made no real effort to outlaw abortion. All we got were a few “feel good” incremental restrictions and a short phone call from the President, to help kick off the annual Washington, D.C. March for Life.

The current fight to defund Planned Parenthood and further restrict abortion typically goes no further than the Democrat controlled Senate , where bills quickly meet their demise in committee … and even if, by some miracle, a solid anti-abortion measure got approved by both the House and Senate … Barack Obama … the Abortion President … would surely exercise his veto privilege … in order to kill it.

In light of all these years of political play acting … by politicians of both parties … I’m willing to bet anyone … $10 … that should we ever again have a Republican controlled House, Senate, and Presidency … they will still … somehow … fail to pass a comprehensive federal ban on abortion.

Any takers?

Washington D.C. corruption includes late term, at will abortions, wihtout limitations.

The reason that abortion is legal to the moment of birth in the federal capital is that a body known as the “District Council,” which operates on authority delegated by Congress, completely repealed the local abortion law.  But the responsibility for changing that rests entirely with the Congress — and the President.  Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution provides that Congress shall “exercise exclusive jurisdiction in all cases whatsoever, over such District…”

Not far from the White House, an abortion clinic sells abortions on request (credit cards or cash only) up to 24 weeks fetal age (which is 26 weeks in the “LMP” OBGYN dating system, counting from the last menstrual period, about the beginning of the sixth month), by the “D&E” dismemberment method, which involves tearing off the baby’s arms and legs by brute force.

Why don’t Obama and the Congress simply agree to extend the provisions of the Hyde Amendment to ObamaCare?

Why don’t Obama and the Congress simply agree to extend the provisions of the Hyde Amendment to ObamaCare?

1) Neither the Democrats or the Republicans have “clean hands” when it comes to abortion.

2) When they controlled both houses of Congress, along with the presidency, Republicans accomplished precious little to restrict or bring an end to abortion.

3) Planned Parenthood may as well be designated a quasi-government agency, just like the Post Office, since federal government money accounts for around thirty percent of Planned Parenthood revenues. State and local governments are also big Planned Parenthood supporters.

4) Democrats (along with liberal Republicans) plan to increase Planned Parenthood funding, along with abortion rights, in the future.

5) Most people today mistakenly think birth control and planned parenthood, except perhaps for abortion, are good things.

6) Abortion is an essential part of statist and socialist political strategy, as already practiced throughout most of Europe, and as advocated by Barack Obama, the Democratic party, and liberal Republicans.

7) They lie!

Congress to Investigate Planned Parenthood Abortion Business

A Congressional committee has taken the first steps in investigating the Planned Parenthood abortion business over abuses ranging from financial disparities to its compliance with federal regulations on taxpayer funding to concerns that it is covering up cases of sex trafficking.

In a September 15 letter LifeNews.com obtained, Rep. Cliff Stearns, a Florida Republican who is the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Investigations, writes to Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood.

“Pursuant to Rules X and XI of the United States House of Representatives, the Committee on Energy and Commerce is examining the institutional practices and policies of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and its affiliates, and its handing of federal funding,” Stearns writes. “That Committee has questions about the politics in place and actions undertaken by PPFA and its affiliates relating to its use of federal funding and its compliance with federal restrictions on the funding of abortion.”

Obama the Destroyer

By now, I assume everyone who isn’t comatose has heard about the Standard & Poors downgrading of the USA’s economic stability from AAA to AA+. Despite the White House feverishly working to spin the news for we-the-proletariat — and hinting that ‘it really means nothing’ — I suspect there is much celebrating going on behind the scenes. Since ratings were established, this is the first time in History that the United States of America has been downgraded. This is unprecedented in our history. Therefore, Obama is partying hardier than ever. After his Chicago $35,000 per plate birthday bash extravaganza — largely on the US taxpayer — his latest fundraiser planned for next Thursday in New York is designed to bring in $71,600 per plate. And all of this is transpiring while he is on a bus tour — we believe illegally on the US taxpayer — campaign for 2012. Note: As our leftist courts and supplicant US Congress support his every move, no one does anything about Obama’s increasingly criminal behaviors.

The reality is that in order to establish a Marxist-Leninist or Marxist-Mao Utopian parasitic government to destroy the middle-class (who will then in their newly-imposed slavery support the elites) the host country must be utterly destroyed. Said country can then be rebuilt (i.e. “transformed”) into the image of “The One” or The Ones.” In this, I suspect Obama has far exceeded his own training and his Master’s timeframe with what he has wrought upon OUR country…and the world. Truly, he is the first leader (make that “non-leader”) of his type.

Obama is a destroyer par excellence and may, in the end and assuming we do not rid ourselves of him, end up surpassing even Adolph Hitler, Josef Stalin or Mao Zedong. We know he is already brimming with pride over his accomplishments, as we see it in his growing smile — one that is beginning to oddly resemble a Narcissistic and condescending sneer as his eyes become even more sinister.

Do we Americans deserve our fate? Do we deserve Obama?

The latest Social Security Trustees Report tells us that the program will be insolvent by the year 2037. The combined unfunded liability of Social Security and Medicare has reached nearly $107 trillion in today’s dollars. That is about seven times the size of the U.S. economy and 10 times the size of the national debt. Those entitlement programs, along with others, account for nearly 60 percent of federal spending. They are what Congress calls non-discretionary spending. About half of discretionary spending is for national defense. Each year, non-discretionary spending consumes a higher and higher percentage of the federal budget.

The language Congress uses to describe their spending is corrupt beyond redemption. Think about the term entitlement. If one American is entitled to something he didn’t earn, where in the world does Congress get the money? It’s not Santa or the Tooth Fairy. The only way Congress can give one American a dollar is to first take it from another American. Therefore, an entitlement is a congressionally given right for one American to live at the expense of another. In other words, Congress forcibly uses one American to serve the purposes of another American. As such, it differs in degree, but not kind, from that uglier part of our history where black people were forcibly used to serve the purposes of their slave masters.

Tom Roeser urges Congress to eliminate funding for PBS

It’s an outrage to see this station and its cast of liberal propagandists  mock Judeo-Christian values without the slightest  inclination to bring in another side—courtesy senior producer Mary Field….but doing it on public largesse is misuse of federal monies approximating secular sacrilege.      I for one will be terribly disappointed in the Republican House majority if in slashing $100 billion out of the budget it doesn’t eliminate all federal money for public TV and radio which had no place in the budget either in good economic times or bad.

If the new GOP House of Representatives is as pro-life as they say, and they want to cut the budget, why haven’t they defunded Planned Parenthood yet?

Congress is still about $68 BILLION dollars short of the $100 BILLION they said they plan to cut from the budget, so why haven’t they cut Planned Parenthood’s $350 MILLION annual allotment? What are they waiting for?

38th March for Life in Washington, DC: Spiritually energizing for Knights of the Van Nuys KofC Council and 400,000 others!

by John Costello, PGK

Huge numbers braved the cold of a Washington winter to celebrate life, save unborn children, and call for an end to Roe v. Wade.

For the third time I represented Knights of Columbus, Van Nuys Council 3148 and attended the 38th annual March for Life in Washington, DC, held on January 24, 2011.

The whole journey from start to finish was made spiritually energizing and joyful by over 500 priests, seminarians and over 300 thousand children, teenagers and 20-year olds

This year I attended MFL with over 200 people on a 14-hour bus ride, and 4 buses from the Diocese of Joliet, near Chicago.  Our pilgrimage was led by Bishop Joseph Siegel and Father Thomas Milota, Diocese of Joliet.   My bus had 30 teens from age 14 to 19.

On Sunday, our 200 marchers had a wonderful hot breakfast and by luck I sat next to Bishop Siegel.  I gave Bishop Siegel a flyer for our 8th LA March for Life and told him I am with the Knights of Columbus, Van Nuys Council.  Bishop Siegel then told me he is a 4th degree knight and is the current Illinois State Chaplain.  He is very warm and friendly.

After breakfast we walked to the Holocaust Museum and I was blessed to walk and talk again with the Bishop.  Then Sunday night we went to Mass for Life at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.  It is the largest Catholic Church in North America.  Mass started at 6:30 pm and it took 45 minutes for the over 500 priests, seminarians, bishops and cardinals to walk in before mass started.  Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston, was the Principal Celebrant and Homilist.

I was so spiritually energized and happy to see 500 priests and over 6 thousand youth and adults at this mass.   Cardinal DiNardo said, Pope John Paul said we should be a luminous conscience.”  …”to the young people here –be Pro-Life witnesses to your families and friends.”

On Monday, January 24, it was a cold 19 degrees as our group braved the cold and walked from Holiday Inn to the March for Life Rally and 38th March for Life.

Nellie Gray, Director of MFL for 38 years, led the 2-hour Rally and March. Fifty-two members of Congress and one Senator came to tell their concern for unborn and pledge their support to overturn Roe. V. Wade.  There were Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Jews, Lutherans, Anglicans.  Silent No More had a huge crowd. SNM’s founder, Georgette Forney said, “Take our experience…it’s not a good solution…we’re here to tell you the product is not good.”

Georgette’s comment reminded me of my favorite quote from brother knight John Riordan, PGK who once said, “Abortion is not a good thing…it’s an ugly thing.”

Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) was the first to speak. He stated, “America got a wake-up call last week with arrest of abortionist in Philadelphia who was charged with killing a woman and seven babies who were aborted, briefly survived then killed with scissors. They know the only thing the multibillion abortion industry produces is victims and women deserve better than abortion.”

Rep. Randy Hultgren (R-IL) said, “We have 100 new freshman in Congress and 90 percent are Pro-Life.”

Bobby Schilling (R-IL): “We have 10 children.” Rep. Lee Terry (R-NE) SAID: “The greatest civilizations have a moral code that respects life from beginning to end.” Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE): “You know abortion is not healthcare.” Steve Chabot:  (R-OH): “I am the  author of bill against  Partial-birth abortion.” Mike Spence (R-OH): “We are going to end Title X.  We will deny funding to Planned Parenthood.” Phil Roe, MD (R-TN): “I have delivered over five thousand babies.”

Pastor Luke Robinson from Quinn Chapel AME Church, Frederick, MD spoke loud, and with passion: “72 percent of pregnancies of 17 year-old girls in U.S. end in the killing of unborn babies.  Where is Jesse Jackson?  Where is Al Sharpton?  Where is the African American church.  We must stop the lie.  We have killed over 53 million children since Roe v. Wade. May this Congress have the guts to de-fund Planned Parenthood.”

After the Rally I walked with 400,000 marchers down Constitution Avenue to the Supreme Court Building.  I met marchers from Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Florida,  New Orleans, New Jersey, New York and many other states.  Ninety percent of the 400 thousand were teenagers and 20 year-olds. I attended college football games at Rose Bowl with 100,000 fans.  This crowd was 3 to 4 times that size.

My take away memory for this 38th MFL, after talking with many marchers, is that we are all energized by the huge number of youth, over 500 priests, religious, clergy and seminarians.  Back in California, Nebraska and Illinois when you pray the rosary with 3 or 4 others in front of abortion clinics, you wonder if anyone cares about Pro-Life.  After attending this 38th MFL you know there are many Americans who are dedicated and who definitely do care.

During my stay in Washington, DC I was blessed to have a roommate, named Franklin, who is a third-year seminarian from Bolivia.   Thank you Nellie Gary, Bishop Siegel, Father Milota and all of our brother knights and family for being rescuers of unborn, innocent babies.

Please support our 2011 – 8th Los Angeles March for Life – Saturday, March 12, 2011 – at St. Cyril’s Church, Encino, California.

First time the 222-year-old U.S. Constitution had been read in its entirety on the House floor.

Lawmakers took turns reciting each verse and article of the document. Republicans in charge of the chamber rattled it off with missionary zeal, as if in a school civics class. Democrats pitched in, but with seemingly less ardor.

Historians said it was the first time the 222-year-old governing document had been read in its entirety on the House floor.

“Faux” budget resolution passed by Dems in Congress. Can a “faux” Constitution be far behind?

Never before — since the creation of the Congressional budget process — has the House failed to pass a budget, failed to propose a budget then deemed the non-existent budget as passed as a means to avoid a direct, recorded vote on a budget, but still allow Congress to spend taxpayer money.

Stop this “pernicious, unprincipled, and unconstitutional legislation” before it’s too late

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — Top pro-life organizations are stepping up their efforts to oppose the DISCLOSE Act, a bill they say would place unfair limits on the free speech rights of pro-life groups and others when it comes to public legislative and election communications.

The House of Representatives may vote as soon as Thursday on the bill that the National Right to Life Committee says would place “sweeping new restrictions on the ability of” citizens groups to tell the public how their lawmakers voted.

In a letter yesterday to members of the House, NRLC reiterated its strong opposition to the bill, which it called “pernicious, unprincipled, and unconstitutional legislation.”

The House Democratic leadership has agreed to add a narrow “carve out” that will effectively exempt the National Rifle Association from some of the key restrictions in the bill, in return for which the NRA has agreed that it “will not be involved in final consideration of the House bill.”

But that has drawn objections from the pro-life group, which says, “With respect to the National Right to Life Committee, this amendment is not only worthless, but adds insult to injury” and calls the bill “a blatant political attack on the First Amendment rights of NRLC, our state affiliates, and our members and donors.”

The big problem for pro-life groups is a provision that would make them identify donors publicly anytime it runs communications in certain times that ask people to contact Congress about legislation related to pro-life concerns.

“Our members and supporters have a right to support our public advocacy about important and controversial issues without having their identifying information posted on the Internet, exposing them to harassment or retribution by those who may disagree with their beliefs,” NRLC says.

Dear Friend,
Congress again is preparing to vote on health care reform. At this stage, it is difficult to predict how votes might unfold. It is very important that the language in the House-passed bill preventing abortion funding—the Stupak-Pitts Amendment—be incorporated in its essential features as a part of any final bill.

Votes could occur at any time. Please click on the link below to send a message to House and Senate Members! Act now!

What has happened up to this point in the health care reform debate? The U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate have passed different bills. On the question of preventing abortion funding, the House language is good, the Senate language is unacceptable. Outside the abortion context, neither bill has adequate conscience protection for health care providers, plans or employers.

What’s next? The two chambers need to agree on a final bill. It is not clear how this will be achieved. There is discussion of using a reconciliation bill, a budget measure that in the Senate cannot be filibustered and needs only 51 votes to pass.

Analyses of the House and Senate-passed bills can be found on our website at: www.nchla.org/issues.asp?ID=51.

Thank you for all you do in support of life!
Sincerely,
Michael Taylor

A Pro-Life Message from my pal, David

Hi everybody, we just returned from the 2010 Washington D.C. March for Life.

You wouldn’t know it from any national news coverage, but nearly 300,000 people (young people and older people like myself, as well as many families) prayed, marched, and made personal visits to the offices of our elected representatives.

I look forward to talking with you in person, but after you read this, PLEASE CLICK HERE to participate in the National Right to Life (NRLC) E-CAMPAIGN for Life.

There, you’ll be able to get “up to speed” on all the latest developments and be able to conveniently send emails to your elected representatives, at no cost.

I just took action on this issue and thought you might find it useful to see what I wrote:

“Dear Senator/Congressman:

Supporting the family is the primary way to ensure a bright future for America.

Illinois’ abortion rate is at a ten year high, with a 37% increase in abortions on minors, especially those younger than 14. This is totally unacceptable! I strongly urge you to oppose any health care legislation that does not contain explicit and comprehensive prohibitions against federal abortion subsidies and federal abortion mandates.

The language of the Stupak-Pitts Amendment, approved by the House of Representatives on November 7, 2009, is absolutely necessary in any health care bill. Passage of any health care bill without the “Stupak-Pitts Amendment” will be political suicide.

I need to know YOUR position on this critically important issue.

Research indicates that encouraging minors to get involved in sex before adulthood is destructive to society, and if trends are allowed to continue, nearly 65% of Americans will soon have NO extended families.

Stop trying to use band-aids as the alternative for real cures. Abortion as a form of  birth control is an abuse and misuse of America’s most important natural resource: We, the People!

It is also a grave sin.”

I encourage you not to be silent as the majority was after 1973 Roe vs. Wade. Hey, I know you love your families…Right?  Then take another important step for their future.

And if our elected representatives don’t listen to us,
WE, THE PEOPLE, WILL REPLACE THEM, IN NOVEMBER!

May all Americans accept the blessings God sends, one baby at a time.

David S.
