The Judgment of God in History

In the era of the corona virus, everyone is talking about all sorts of things, but there are certain topics that remain forbidden, above all in the Catholic world. The primary forbidden topic is that of judgment and divine retribution in history. The fact of this censure is a good reason for us to consider the argument.

This talk by historian Robert De Mattei
should be required reading for every Catholic.

…De Mattei argued that God sends mankind chastisements in the form of “war, plague, and famine” because of sin and to call mankind back to God. He described the infinite justice of God, and what this means, not only for individuals, but for nations. Every person faces his particular judgement at the moment of death, but there will also be a second judgement at the end of time. This will be the universal judgement at which every human action, idea, and society that has ever been “will be perfectly and clearly judged.”

Editor’s note: Catholics have real-time recourse to divine forgiveness in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, but Nations do not. Hence, individual Catholics might escape divine retribution for their sins, but Nations most likely, will not.

Divine Justice In Action…

All the churches are closed, but so are all the sports stadiums.

Convention Summary: Republicans love tax cuts. Democrats love to abort babies. Take your pick!

by Doug Lawrence

From a purely Catholic perspective, I can tell you that any real improvement in the economy of the United States, and for that matter, the world, will not happen until the gruesome and totally abominable practice of abortion comes to an end.

There’s a number of reasons for this, but the primary one is simple: Divine justice.

God is absolutely opposed to abortion. He reserves the power of life to himself, and permits humans only to procreate  We are never permitted to take an innocent life, for any reason whatsoever. If such were not the case, God would be working against himself, and that is simply not possible.

Pushing both religion and all the political demagoguery off to the side for a moment … no rational person with at least a modicum of common sense could possibly believe that a baby in the womb is anything less than fully human. And being human, from the moment of conception, the baby becomes the bearer of inalienable human rights. Rights which come from God … not man.

The scandals who resort to schemes and false rhetoric in an attempt to reclassify and redefine such a fundamental and absolutely clear matter are nothing more than selfish charlatans … out to gain whatever they can … for themselves and/or for their particular affiliated group.

When you vote for those who promote the unrestricted killing of helpless pre-born babies, you become what they already are … murdering scum of the earth. And if that’s not enough to rattle your malformed conscience, consider the fact that divine justice is both perfect and totally inescapable.

So, pro-death abortion advocates, wherever you may live … and whenever you may die … there is no escape. You will be held eternally accountable for your choices. Kind of gives the term “Pro-Choice” a whole new spin … doesn’t it?

In the best case scenario, unrepentant baby-killers will probably end up spending eternity with other baby-killers. Think about that, for a while!

Better to straighten up and fly right in the here and the now … than spend an eternity attempting to rationalize what can never be rationalized and attempting to justify what can never be justified.

Of course, the convention also demonstrated the fact that many Democrats no longer believe in God, so they’re probably betting that most of the above simply doesn’t apply.

As Clint Eastwood’s “Dirty Harry” character has been known to say, “Do ya feel lucky? Well do ya, punk?

Better to vote safe than be sorry. Vote for tax cuts … not baby-killing. The country will do better … the babies will do better … and you’ll sleep much better, too.
