God made me this way

Popular headlines in the  media earlier this year trumpeted Jorge Bergolgio’s telling a young man who is choosing freely to live a homosexual life that he should be happy because God made him that way.

Instead of condemning faithful catholics who speak the truth, why do the priests, bishops, cardinals and Jorge Bergolio not tell those they now condemn:

Be happy being a rigid RadTrad, God made you that way.

Be happy being a bully fundamentalist, God made you that way.

Be happy being a racist, capitalist critic of Jorge Bergolio, God made you that way.

What possible explanation could there be – if consistency is a standard for logical argument –  for not applying the “God-made-you” justification to any sin- even the sin of being a faithful catholic?

Penn State: Another homosexual sex scandal that’s NOT called what it obviously is!

by Doug Lawrence

The recent Penn State child abuse scandal is noteworthy for a number of reasons:

First, no one in the mainstream media has yet to call it what it really is … a homosexual sex scandal.

Second, although many have likened the scandal to those experienced by the Catholic Church, no one has yet pointed out that unlike Catholic priests, this sexually deviant perpetrator was not subject to a vow of celibacy or chastity … something which has heretofore been widely (but erroneously) cited … as the likely cause of priestly child abuse.

Why the double standard? Why the subtle obfuscations? Why the deliberate mischaracterizations by the mainstream media? Why hasn’t anyone owned up to the lies … or attempted to correct the record?

And why is the public apparently willing to put up with it?

Maybe they’re afraid of being labeled as bullies, haters, or homophobes.

Maybe they’re just weak, misinformed, or they simply don’t care.

Maybe a bit of both!

In any case, it’s just wrong!
