The “devil” is in the details

ROME (Reuters) – Disused church buildings should be used to house refugees, who must be embraced rather than feared, Pope Francis told asylum seekers in Rome on Tuesday, underlining his papacy’s emphasis on the poor and the plight of immigrants.

Editor’s note: These “broad strokes” are great, Holy Father. But we need to know more. How do you plan to deal with issues like illegal drugs, gangs and other criminal activity, coupled with rampant sexual immorality and religious conflict?

Archdiocese of Chicago upcoming event for those who want to be freed from alcohol, drug, pornography or sexual addiction.

…shame … is the one bad thing we need more of.

shame

I’m 33. I was earning my slutty shame when some of you were buying your first Britney Spears CDs. Sorry to destroy all your illusions about my church-going formative years, but the closest I got to a church between the ages of 14 and 26 was weddings, funerals, and that time I traded a pack of Newports for a joint from a tranny prostitute in front of some cathedral in Manhattan.

I read pornographic literature, and I wrote erotica. I experimented with harder drugs. I stole another girl’s boyfriend on purpose. I fancied both men and women.

I was going to go into a lot of detail in this column, but I think that’s enough. I keep writing about all the slutty things I did between the ages of 15 and 26 and then deleting it, because I am ashamed of it. And – this is a weird sentence – I am proud to be ashamed of it.

Three abortions by the age of 22 is somehow supposed to be a “positive” experience

The only thing that makes me sad is that it doesn’t feel socially acceptable to discuss them in public. I look forward to the day when when asked how she’s doing, a woman in line at the grocery store can be accepted for saying “I’m ok, its the anniversary of my abortion, but you know, I’m doing alright”. Abortion is very common, and it’s a shame we’re expected to keep quiet about it.

Editor’s note: Three babies already dead, but the sociopath drug abuser is doing OK … and craves our approval!

Seen on the web: The enemy will have to come up with something much better…

If Fr Corapi wanted to participate in drug use and multiple sexual exploits, he would just tell the world see you later I’m off to participate in drug use and multiple sexual exploits…

The enemy will have to come up with something much better…

St. Gerard Majella pray for him.

Dirty Little Secret: Selling Your Egg Cells To Fertility Clinics Can Be (Very) Hazardous To Health.

A few years ago, Alexandra, a doctorate student, decided that selling her eggs to a fertility clinic was the perfect way to get an extra $3,000 she needed to pay for her tuition.

But then “things went south,” she recalls in “Eggsploitation,” a new documentary on the health hazards of paid egg donation. Alexandra and two other women, identified only by their first names, say their experiences with egg donation led to hospitalizations, ovary loss, stroke and possibly cancer.

San Francisco politics: Sodomy = Good. Happy Meals = Bad.

Over 25,000 homosexual men have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in San Francisco since the epidemic began. Homosexual behavior among men accounts for 85-89 percent of HIV/AIDS cases in that city, so there’s not a big mystery about what’s causing this disease. And despite antiretroviral drug treatments, the lives of those infected are gravely impacted and often shortened.

Rectal gonorrhea and syphilis among male homosexuals is also high in the city by the Bay, along with intravenous drug use.

So of course the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in no way discourages dozens of “gay” bath houses, bars and sex clubs with names like Steamworks and Eros, and sex-drenched street events like the annual Folsom Street Fair, attended by thousands of nude, cruising homosexual males.

Instead, they are cracking down on Happy Meals.

Slave Master: How Pornography Drugs and Changes Your Brain

Pornography is a visual pheromone, a powerful, $100 billion per year brain drug that is changing human sexuality by “inhibiting orientation” and “disrupting pre-mating communication between the sexes by permeating the atmosphere,” especially through the internet. I believe we are currently struggling in the war against pornography because many continue to believe two key fallacies:

Fallacy No. 1: Pornography is not a drug.

Fallacy No. 2: Pornography is therefore not a real addiction.

As an illustration of Fallacy No. 1, consider the following statement by a Wall Street executive whose mainstream company discreetly profits from pornography: “I’m not a weirdo or a pervert, it’s not my deal. I’ve got kids and a family. But if I can see as an underwriter going out and making bucks on people being weird, hey, dollars are dollars. I’m not selling drugs. It’s Wall Street.”

Now consider both fallacies as elucidated in the following statement by an executive in the pornography industry:

[T]he fact [is] that “drugs, booze and cigarettes” are all physical, chemical agents that are ingested and can indeed have measurable, harmful, addictive effects. The mere viewing of any type of subject matter hardly falls into this category and, in fact, belittles the very real battles that addicts face over drugs, booze and cigarettes-all of which can be lethal. No one ever died from looking at porn. While some compulsive types can be “addicted” to anything, such as watching a favorite television show, eating ice cream or going to the gym, nobody suggests that ice cream is akin to crack cocaine [remember that statement] and should be regulated to protect . . . people from themselves-instead, these compulsive actions are rightfully viewed by society as personality defects in the individual. . . .

Catholic Charities to give syringes to drug users

An $83,000 custom van will be stocked with syringes and other medical supplies intended to reduce the risk of infection spread by sharing contaminated needles and unsanitary injection methods.

The van will be parked in the city’s South End and Arbor Hill neighborhoods, closest to where police believe injection drug use is most prevalent.

Project Safe Point is based on 17 similar needle exchange programs in cities across the state, including Binghamton, Ithaca, Rochester, Buffalo and New York City. It will be a first for the Capital Region and is believed to be the only one of its kind in the nation sponsored by Catholic Charities.

The education paradox

LET ME BE SURE I UNDERSTAND……..?

After being interviewed by the school administration, the prospective
teacher said:  ‘Let me see if I’ve got this right:

“You want me to go into that room with all those kids, correct
their disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse, monitor
their dress habits, censor their T-shirt messages, and instill in them a
love for learning.

You want me to check their backpacks for weapons, wage war on drugs and
sexually transmitted diseases, and raise their sense of self esteem and
personal pride.

You want me to teach them patriotism and good citizenship,
sportsmanship and fair play, and how to register to vote, balance a
checkbook, and apply for a job..

You want me to check their heads for lice, recognize signs of
antisocial behavior, and make sure that they all pass the final exams.

You also want me to provide them with an equal education regardless
of their handicaps, and communicate regularly with their parents in
English, Spanish or any other language, by letter, telephone,
newsletter, and report card.

You want me to do all this with a piece of chalk, a blackboard, a
bulletin board, a few books, a big smile, and a starting salary that
qualifies me for food stamps.

You want me to do all this and then you tell me … I CAN’T PRAY?”
