The gun-toting authorities from the local cops up to the Department of Justice are apparently standing at the beckon-call of the baby-killing professionals.

It’s time to write about the rest of the story when putative late-term abortionist Julie Komarow, M.D., sought a restraining order on your humble correspondent, one of the writers for this blog. This story includes a run-in with armed U.S. Marshals and a threat of federal charges including fines and jail time.

Trumped up Obama administration case against pro-life woman thrown out of court.

“For the past 20 years, Susan Pine has counseled women about the tragedy of such a course of action. Pine never obstructs anyone and denied she ever obstructed any vehicle, as the DOJ claimed (although with no evidence),” Staver said. “Liberty Counsel, our sister organization, represented Ms. Pine in the case of Holder v. Pine at no cost and will continue to represent her if she needs further legal help.”

“Liberty Counsel Action will not stand by while the Attorney General seeks to intimidate Americans for their pro-life beliefs or for any other reason,” he continued. “When Eric Holder should be prosecuting terrorists, he is wasting time manufacturing baseless lawsuits against law-abiding, pro-life Americans and engaging in other politically-inspired campaigns against pro-liberty, pro-family citizens! Such actions by the Attorney General are abuses of power and examples of intolerably misplaced priorities.”

Attorney General says the Defense of Marriage Act is the result of vehement enmity, hatred and ill will … so he won’t defend it in court.

The decision by Attorney General Holder not to defend the Defense of Marriage Act raises very grave questions.

Justifying his position, he says that in the congressional debate there were “numerous expressions reflecting moral disapproval of gays and lesbians and their intimate family relationships.”  He went on to describe this as “animus” (defined by Webster as vehement enmity, hatred, ill will)-violating the Equal Protection Clause.

“Animus” to defend a moral position based on 2,000 years of classical and Christian teaching rooted in reason and scripture?

Holder has embraced the position of Federal Judge Vaughn Walker in California that opposing so-called gay marriage can be “harmful to gays and lesbians.”  But this is like claiming that opposition to polygamy is harmful to polygamists or that laws defining marriage as the union of two people harm those who prefer to live in what are called sexual “triads” or “quadrads.”  Our historic marriage laws harm nobody–they serve husbands, wives, children, and the common good of society.

If the expression of our deepest convictions is treated as animus, our religious liberty is in peril.  We cannot fail to speak the truth even if it is labeled hate speech.

Radical Michigan Christian militia group arrested. Rev. Jeremiah Wright still at large.

Hard hitting, in-depth reporting (just kidding) from the mainstream media outlets gives us the government ‘s position on the alleged intentions of the “radical Christian militia group” in Michigan.

Other than that, little or nothing is known.

I’m betting the raid was the result of something that was overheard in a local bar, after everybody had one or two beers, too many.

Just another way for the Obama administration to keep Christians in their “rightful” place. Watch this high level raid and subsequent prosecution lead quickly to nothing and nowhere.

If this is, as Attorney General Eric Holder says, “an insidious plan by anti-government extremists” then why is the Reverend Jeremiah Wright still at large?
