The Perils of Progressivism

This timeline, along with these recent statistics, demonstrates that the eroding of family life in the United States is not something sudden, but rather the result of a gradual process of social change.

The events listed are not a random collection, but show a determined and coordinated decline of our culture, rooted in our changing understanding of sexuality, marriage and family, and even life itself (which is now a commodity, which can be engineered).

The link between contraception, abortion, and homosexuality itself can be demonstrated simply by examining the Supreme Court decisions concerning these issues, which in their opinions directly build one upon the other.

Abortion is the leading cause of death among black Americans.

In January, Margaret Sanger’s disciples and abortion lovers have much to celebrate.  It will be the 40th year of legally sanctioned abortions in the United States.  At the time I am writing this, the death toll of murdered babies via abortion methods is 55,110,996, and it climbs every few seconds.

These murdered babies are predominately black babies.  Where are the crusaders for social and racial justice, for the worst racist genocide in human history?

Margaret Sanger, Planned Parenthood, Barack Obama: Worldwide culture of death vs. the Catholic Church.

Margaret Sanger also spoke about forced sterilization of those she saw as unfit to get rid of them. Among those groups she included practicing Catholics.

So it should be no surprise that we are seeing the current attack on the Catholic Church through the Obama Administration. They are only doing what she founded them to do. & why we need to stand firm in our faith, with prayer & action, against this latest assault.

Hitler called them Jews. Pro-abortion folks call them “unplanned pregnancies.”

The more I learn about World War II, Hitler, eugenics and extermination of people groups, the more stunned I am at the double talk which emits from the mouths of those who would dub themselves pro-choice but who would, with another breath, condemn Hitler.

The fact is, supporting the alleged right to an abortion is tantamount to making a pact with Hitler to destroy people deemed less valuable. Hitler called them Jews. Pro-abortion folks call them “unplanned pregnancies.” There exists no difference in the outcome. Semantics never change reality.

Sounds harsh? Abortion is harsh, but it’s also agreement with an enemy. And not just Hitler.

Dancing with the devil in Florida: Catholic Charities teaming up with Rockefeller Foundation

The Rockefeller group is a nonprofit organization that currently advises on and manages more than $200 million in annual giving, according to its website. It is based in New York City and patterns itself after John D. Rockefeller Sr., who in 1891 began to professionally manage his philanthropy “as if it were a business.”

Catholic Video Exposes Rockefeller Foundation Assaults on Church, Life

An online Catholic TV show dubbed the Catholic Investigative Agency (CIA) dedicated a recent episode to exposing the Rockefeller Foundation’s ties to eugenics groups, population-control advocates, efforts at global governance, pro-abortion activities, and other highly controversial subjects.

The program, run by Catholic media personality Michael Voris, also highlights the Rockefeller dynasty’s assault against the church — one of the primary opponents of Rockefeller-backed schemes. From the Foundation’s efforts to “purify” humanity by manipulating the gene pool to population-control campaigns aimed at reducing the number of people on Earth, the Rockefellers’ agenda has been consistently at odds with church teachings.

The thesis of the CIA episode is presented early on. “The Rockefeller Foundation is actively undermining the Catholic Church and in the process attempting to erase man’s natural orientation to the eternal,” the show explains. Indeed, after watching the program, that fact becomes obvious.

Hoye: “The impact of abortion in the Black Community is the Darfur of America.”

June serves as the grim anniversary of legalized abortion in California through the Therapeutic Abortion Act of 1967. That year, there were 518 legal abortions.

Today, California is the nation’s abortion capital with over 214,190 abortions performed each year among its 522 abortion “providers.”

The CDC reports that the Black abortion rate is over 3 times that of the majority population — differences which cannot be explained by “health care disparities.”

Investigative reporter: Ave Maria, Florida – not really a Catholic Town

Ave Maria is not God’s town. It’s not a Catholic Town. It’s Tom Monaghan’s little theocracy, a mini-state governed by a man who regards himself as divinely guided.

The official religion practiced and promoted here by Tom Managhan, Nick Healy and the Ave Maria University administration is not traditional Catholicism but rather a Pentecostal-Charismatic fundamentalism with all the eccentricities and characteristics and dangers of a full-blown cult. The “Praise and Worship” services, Novos Ordo guitar Masses and bizarre healing services held at the Quasi-Parish of Ave Maria Oratory (the “healing services” were eventually banned inside the Oratory by the local Bishop) are not merely a variant on Catholicism, but a different religion altogether with a different theology of grace and salvation.

A short anti-life history of the March of Dimes

By the start of the 1970s, the MOD’s commitment to eugenics and all that the commitment implies was evidenced by the plethora of openly pro-abortion speakers on the MOD circuit, by the addition of known eugenicists to its various National Advisory

Committees, by the eugenic writings found in their Original Articles Series, by the MOD’s energetic funding and promotion of mid-trimester, non-therapeutic prenatal diagnostic research, clinical testing, and by its provision of seed monies to expand eugenic services at university-based medical centers throughout the United States.

Once the key officials of the MOD accepted the fundamental premise of eugenics — that there are certain people who never should be born, and that it is a positive act for families and society to insure that such persons are not born — the fate of the MOD was chiseled in stone. This report is the story of the NF/MOD’s journey into the killing fields of eugenics.

The Barbaric Vision of ‘Progressive’ (Socialist) Heroes

Thinkers such as the famous science fiction writer H.G. Wells, who between 1905 and 1940, was one of the most admired and influential men in the world. In describing his fellow socialist and some-time friend, George Bernard Shaw wrote of Wells, “Multiply the total by ten; square the result. Raise it again to the millionth power and square it again; and you will still fall short of the truth about Wells – yet the worse he behaved the more he was indulged; and the more he was indulged the worse he behaved.” Shaw, by the way, lied about what he had seen in Stalin’s Russia and when questioned by a Western journalist about the forced starvations in Ukraine threw a can of Russian meat at him. Wells, though, was worse.

At heart he was a social engineer. In massively best-selling books such as Anticipations and A Modern Utopia Wells wrote that he believed the world would collapse; from this collapse a new order should and would emerge. “People throughout the world whose minds were adapted to the big-scale conditions of the new time,” he wrote. “A naturally and informally organized educated class, an unprecedented sort of people.” A strict social order would be formed. At the bottom of it was the base.

These were “people who had given evidence of a strong anti-social disposition,” including “the black, the brown, the swarthy, the yellow.” Christians would also “have to go,” as well as the handicapped. Wells devoted entire pamphlets to the need of “preventing the birth, preventing the procreation or preventing the existence” of the mentally and physically handicapped. “This thing, this euthanasia of the weak and the sensual is possible. I have little or no doubt that in the future it will be planned and achieved.”

Margaret Sanger’s “Negro Project” still going strong at Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood’s role in this slaughter of black innocents is particularly troubling because the organization’s founder, Margaret Sanger, was a known instigator of eugenics, who called for a “pure” population through controlling the reproduction of “undesirable people.” Her “Negro Project” was aimed at reducing the number of children born to American blacks because she viewed us as inferior. Therefore, she recruited the black church to bear the seeds of our own destruction:

Sanger – “We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

A few quotes from Planned Parenthood’s Founder, Margaret Sanger

“We are failing to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying . . . a dead weight of human waste . . .an ever-increasing spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all.” -Margaret Sanger

“Every feeble-minded girl or woman of this hereditary type should be segregated during the reproductive period. Otherwise, she is almost certain to bear imbecile children … we prefer the policy of immediate sterilization, of making sure that parenthood is absolutely prohibited to the feeble minded.” -Margaret Sanger

“Organized charity itself is the symptom of a malignant social disease. Those vast, complex, interrelated organizations aiming to control and to diminish the spread of misery and destitution and all the menacing evils that spring out of this sinisterly fertile soil, are the surest sign that our civilization has bred, is breeding and perpetuating constantly increasing numbers of defectives, delinquents and dependents…….to breed out of the race the scourges of transmissible disease, mental defect, poverty, lawlessness, crime … since these classes would be decreasing in number instead of breeding like weeds….such a plan would … reduce the birthrate among the diseased, the sickly, the poverty stricken and anti-social classes, elements unable to provide for themselves, and the burden of which we are all forced to carry.” -Margaret Sanger

“The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” -Margaret Sanger

“Couples should be required to submit applications to have a child.” -Margaret Sanger

“The purpose in promoting birth control was to create a race of thoroughbreds.” -Margaret Sanger

“More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief aim of birth control.” -Margaret Sanger

“We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.” -Margaret Sanger

“When motherhood becomes the fruit of a deep yearning, not the result of ignorance or accident, its children will become the foundation of a new race.” -Margaret Sanger

“The third group [of society] are those irresponsible and reckless ones having little regard for the consequences of their acts, or whose religious scruples prevent their exercising control over their numbers. Many of this group are diseased, feeble-minded, and are of the pauper element dependent upon the normal and fit members of society for their support. There is no doubt in the minds of all thinking people that the procreation of this group should be stopped.” -Margaret Sanger

The racial component of abortion

Atlanta, GA ( — Atlanta drivers will soon see billboards all over the city that educate them about the racist component of abortions — that pro-life advocates point out target black Americans. In a city with a large African-American population, the billboards are already sparking controversy and they’ve not been put up yet.

The Radiance Foundation is sponsoring a campaign of 65 billboards across town and they should be visible starting on February 15.

“We’re aiming for a lot more, but that’s where we’re at,” Ryan Bomberger, co-founder of the group, recently told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

“This is not a campaign that targets black women,” Bomberger said. “It’s a campaign that exposes an industry that we believe targets African-Americans.”

Anthropogenic Global Warming, Eugenics, Racism Provide False Justification for Denial of Human Rights

Policies based on “scientific fact” have a history of being more than just problematic, as with the veneer of absolute truth behind them they have oftentimes been downright irrational. This historic record should act as a guide to our current political occupation with anthropogenic global warming.

Arguably, scientific fact changes more rapidly than religious dogma. What was undeniable truth one day might be discovered to be quackery the next. The most glaring example of this in the 20th century is the science of eugenics.

The science of eugenics insisted that the human gene pool was being polluted by various undesirable races and threatened to lead to the degeneration of the human species into a collection of feeble minded individuals. So popular was this science that it spawned no less than three Global conferences with attendees included scientific and political heavyweights of the time.

When eugenics took the form of government policy, it did so in a frightening way. Take for example the case of the Racial Integrity Act (RIA). In the name of fighting off the inevitability of human degeneracy that would occur if people were left to breed uncontrolled, the state of Virginia passed the RIA in 1924. This law allowed the state powers that today would cause us to recoil in horror. These powers included forced sterilizations, and the banning of intermarriage between minorities and whites.

Darwin’s idea has cost lives

Darwin’s second catastrophic error was to promote the view that the poorest sections of society were genetically inferior to the educated middle class and that most, if not all, the traits that led to pauperism were hereditary. Darwin’s analysis generated a fear that if the working class continued to breed faster than the middle class, then the society would continue down a spiral of genetic degeneration.

It was this fear that animated the eugenics movement, which in Britain was largely led by members of Darwin’s own family. His son, Leonard, became the chairman of the Eugenics Society, agitating for the establishment of flying squads of scientists with powers of arrest over the poorest third of the population. The plan was that anyone deemed “unfit” by these tribunals would be segregated in colonies or sterilised to prevent them breeding. Fortunately, the eugenicists did not get all they wanted in Britain. Nevertheless, they did succeed in getting measures passed by Parliament that led to the imprisonment without trial of more than 40,000 people. Many were detained for “moral imbecility” – having children out of wedlock, committing petty crimes, or displaying homosexual inclinations. Some would remain incarcerated for 20 years.

In the United States the eugenicists did succeed in getting compulsory sterilisation laws passed in 33 states. At least 60,000 Americans were forcibly sterilised and perhaps a further 100,000 bullied into consenting to the procedure. The last state to revoke its eugenic sterilisation statute did so in 1982.

Years ago (about 30 years ago!), while in college, I attended a pro-abortion meeting on campus.  It was instructional about the use of semantics.  We were instructed not to call the unborn a baby (use “mass of cells”, “fetus”).

I was a nursing student.  I knew what was growing.  I asked if it would not be better to just acknowledge that the rights of the woman should take place over the right of the child.  I was taught young “Never play dumb for anyone, especially a man, there will be enough things you really won’t know.  Don’t hide your intelligence.”

So here I was as a young and independent college woman, balking at the idea of pretending I didn’t know what the womb contained, trying to tell the campus choice leaders that we should use the right terminology but stick to our position.  A fellow student commented that if we used the word “baby” people would think we were monsters.  Others agreed.  The leader of the meeting again reiterated the importance of using the proper terminology.  Also, don’t say pro-life, say anti-abortion.  Don’t say pro-abortion (it sounds bad), say pro-choice.

I was silent the rest of the meeting having been properly shut down by everyone agreeing with the leader to not, under any circumstances, call the unborn a baby.

I left changed.  I started thinking more and after lots of months of struggle (I wanted to be liberated!) realized…we don’t call it a baby because that would be monstrous.

It was a heart, soul, eye-opening time for me.  No matter what the “prochoice” group feels about this, killing babies is monstrous.

If you call it a mass of cells it’s much easier.  However, we are all a mass of cells.

Ms. Howard gives herself away promptly when she says anti-abortion.  “Anti” anything sounds negative because “anti” means against.  I have some more semantics for you.  Pro choice or Pro life?  Anti-abortion or anti-life?

Remember that Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood) did not start that program to help the poor and minorities.  She started it because she felt the poor and minorities weakened the white race gene pool.  She wanted to help reduce their numbers by reducing the number of babies they had.  Look her up.  She was a known eugenist.

I was emancipated at 16, got my high school degree, served in the military, got my bachelor’s degree and am a nurse.

If you are pro choice (or anti-life) then woman-up or man-up and acknowledge that you at least know what grows inside a pregnant mother.  Don’t use semantics to make your stance seem more logical.

I took all kinds of sciences to get my degree.  Not one science course suggested the unborn was anything but human.

I have some respect for the position of the Catholic students not wanting Obama honored.  Why would he be honored?  Speak, yes but what’s the deal with a Catholic University honoring such a pro-abortion person?

It’s a Catholic University.  Good for them for not being willing to go down quietly!

There’s hope for America’s youth yet!
