Why was Jesus crucified (as opposed to some other method of execution)?

Q: Why was Jesus crucified (as opposed to some other method of execution)?

A: Crucifixion was Satan’s favorite means of execution, invented by the Assyrians some 800 to 1000 years earlier, under the devil’s very own inspiration.

Put to death in that manner by Satan’s minions, nobody but Satan could be responsible, since crucifixion carried the devil’s own personal “brand”.

And since nobody, not even the devil, had the authority to take the life of a sinless man, let alone the only son of God, the moment Jesus died, Satan was through!

The cross or crucifix has indeed become a symbol of the Christian faith, but it has also become the reminder of the day that Satan lost everything, and mankind was finally freed from eternal slavery to Satan, sin, and death.
