Four important things Pope Francis and Phil Robertson have yet to explain about the homosexual culture and other sexual lifestyles that the Bible and the Catholic Church deem to be immoral

There’s much more to this homosexual union/faux marriage/shacking up thing than meets the eye. So far, neither the Pope (nor the Catholic Bishops) nor Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson have explained the significant personal considerations of such behavior.

1) According to the Bible and the Catholic Church, there is no doubt that virtually all deliberate, willful homosexual acts – as well as sexual intercourse and similar types of activity between men and women, not married to each other – are objectively sinful.

The only question that remains is whether God will choose to judge any particular person to be worthy of eternal punishment, as a result.

As far as we humans can know, anyone who is fully aware of the biblical/Catholic Church teachings on such matters and who still freely chooses to engage in them, will be subject to divine judgment.

There’s absolutely no way to honestly reinterpret the Bible in order to avoid this conclusion. Anything to the contrary is mere “spin” and/or deception. For more on this, see: The 4 sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance.

2)  The prohibition against homosexual depravity, adultery, fornication and other related sexual sins is DEFINITELY NOT something that was long ago consigned to the dust bin of history.

While it’s true that Jesus Christ personally fulfilled and then respectfully set aside the entirety of the Old Covenant Laws, Ordinances and Statutes, making them void and of no further effect – the full moral authority described in the Old Law was transferred to the Catholic Church, the sole governing authority of the New, better and everlasting Covenant, which was given to us personally by Jesus Christ, at the Last Supper.

The condemnation of homosexual acts and culture, of abortion, adultery, fornication and related sexual sins was in fact, promptly reinterpreted and readopted by the divinely appointed leaders of the fledgling New Covenant Catholic Church, according to the extraordinarily high moral standards personally established by Jesus Christ, while he still walked the earth, which deemed not just the acts themselves – but even deliberately thinking about doing them – to be gravely sinful.

Sensible people would do well to spend some quality time working out in their mind precisely why Jesus Christ, the Creator of all things, would according to his divine wisdom, so strongly caution his creatures (us) against even thinking about such things!

All those living in today’s New Covenant times are expected to live up to this higher standard, defined by none other than Jesus Christ – God himself – who redeemed us from the powers of darkness by his atoning sacrifice on the cross – and who thereby earned the right to judge both the quick and the dead, without exception.

These divine standards apply to all.  Not just Christians. The Catholic Church has been teaching and explaining this to people, all around the world,  for the last 2,000 years. In this age of instant information, there may still be some excuses for lack of faith in God or in his Catholic Church, but the case for invincible ignorance in  matters sexual is getting harder and harder to make, everyday!

3) The act of “shacking up” (living together as man and wife – whether homo or hetero – without benefit of sacramental matrimony) institutionalizes and makes permanent sinful, personal depravity.

Continuing to “live together in sin” – even if a firm purpose of amendment exists – means that genuine repentance is not possible – hence, these and other sins are not likely to be forgiven, unless and until the illicit living arrangement is discontinued.

This is spiritually, an extremely dangerous condition in which to exist, since death and judgment might occur at any time. God prefers that we all live in peace, unafraid of death, according to his grace. See: A Last Chance for Lost Souls.

4) The necessity of enlightened prudential judgment and high personal moral standards, according to the clearly defined teachings, traditions and practices of the Catholic Church, as well as the absolute certainty of Divine Judgment by Jesus Christ, the Just Judge and Savior of ALL mankind, should as a practical matter, be considered a “given” – since the Bible and the Catholic Church unanimously hold that this sobering prospect applies to all – without compromise or exception.

The Bottom Line:

Legalizing, promoting and celebrating immoral, illicit heterosexual and/or homosexual lifestyles is the surest way of leading untold millions of souls to Hell. There’s absolutely no love in that!

The official Christian opposition to all forms of sexual immorality is based on inerrant, unchanging, divine mandate – plus thousands of years of practical experience in various world civilizations. The fact that many professed Christians fail to correctly practice their faith changes nothing.

The Catholic Church offers a number of practical and effective solutions for these and other major issues of the day – including complete and total absolution for a lifetime of sins, no matter how serious. The fact that corruption has always existed inside the Catholic Church, at one level or another, sadly diminishes but can never totally negate the Church’s divine power and authority, or its’ particular efficacy in the proper care of souls.

Jesus Christ remains the head of the Catholic Church and it his power alone that serves to keep the Catholic Church authentically holy and totally indefectible.

Gay and proud … or not … the U.S. Government plans to make you take an AIDS test.

Human_Immunodeficency_Virus_-_stylized_rendering

CHICAGO, April 29 (Reuters) – An influential U.S. panel is calling for HIV screening for all Americans aged 15 to 65, regardless of whether they are considered to be at high risk, a change that may help lift some of the stigma associated with HIV testing.

The new guidelines from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF), a government-backed panel of doctors and scientists, now align with longstanding recommendations by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for testing of all adults aged 15 to 65, regardless of their risk.

Editor’s note: And just what stigma is that?

On “gaytrimony” and “gayrriage”

by Doug Lawrence

Since we know that marriage between one man and one woman will always be the norm, and anything else would be so qualitatively different as to be something else entirely, I think it’s time to give that progressive new “state in life” where same sex couples choose to bind themselves to each other in a mutual covenant, a legal definition and corresponding name that is clearly different and absolutely distinct from traditional matrimony/marriage.

Instead of the word “matrimony” … which defines a holy covenant between one man and one woman … we can have “gaytrimony” … which legally defines something else, entirely.

Instead of the word “marriage” … which properly defines the state of holy matrimony between one man and one woman … we can have gayrriage … which legally defines a totally different state in life.

Pressure groups could go on to lobby the government for whatever particular benefits and privileges they might desire, but the integrity and proper definition of the holy institution of matrimony would never again be in danger of being hijacked, and the distinctive legal definition of both “states” would remain permanently and absolutely clear.

This way, everyone will be able to “have their cake and eat it too” yet there will be no doubt whatsoever that the particular “states” of  matrimony and “gaytrimony” will always remain quite different and distinct, despite any accidental similarities.

Some might call this just another version of “separate but equal” … but that’s only because the homosexual rights movement has been, up to now, politically linked to the issue of racial equality. And that’s just wrong, since sexual preference and race are two entirely different things.

There’s absolutely no personal choice in selecting one’s race, but there is always a great degree of personal choice in how one chooses to conduct himself/herself/itself  in regard to personal, particular sexuality … whether hetero, homo … or other.

That’s just the way it is.

Plain talk for teens about homosexuality

With the ubiquity of media attention given to same-sex unions, parents will not lack teaching moments. Setting the stage is a good idea. Assure your teenagers that you think that being ordered in respect to sexuality is difficult for everyone; indeed, in our culture, most heterosexuals are out-of-control sexually.

Tell them you would be as reluctant to allow a cohabiting couple to share a bedroom in your home as you would be to allow a homosexual couple to do so. But that, generally, both would be welcome at your dinner table. Mention that you appreciate the dignity and gifts of all human beings; they are all beloved children of God.

Seen on the web: Hateful, anti-heterosexual bigotry

I see nothing wrong with being gay. We have fabulous lives. Yes, we deal with ignorant assholes from time to time but our lives are way better than most straight people I know. All the gays I know live in fabulous homes, travel the world and are very successful. I can’t say the same for my straight friends. They all hate their lives, jobs, their fat wives and ugly kids. And all they look forward to is death.

The Body Doesn’t Lie, But Modern Culture Does

Sexuality is more than skin-deep – Now when it comes to sexuality in the human person, our sex (or as some incorrectly call it, our “gender,”  (gender is a grammar term that refers to the classification of nouns in romance languages)  is not just a 50/50 coin toss. Our soul is male or female and hence our bodies reflect that fact. I don’t just happen to be male, I AM male. My soul is male, my spirit is male, hence my body is male.

So called “sex-change” operations are a lie. Cross-dressing is a lie. “Transgendered” and what ever other made up and confused assertions cannot change the truth of what the soul is. You can adapt the body but not the soul. The soul simply says, “Sum quod sum” (I am what I am).

Now again, the modern age has chosen simply to set all this aside and to see the body as incidental or arbitrary. This is a key error of the modern age and has led to a lot of the confusion we have about many things. We have already seen how the widespread approval of homosexual acts has stemmed from this. But there are other confusions that spread from this.

Seen on the web: Freedom to hate.

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed a story of hatred:

Hatred by the sodomites toward anyone and anything that is heterosexually normal,
Hatred by the sodomites toward anyone and anything remotely holy,
Hatred by the sodomites toward anyone and anything that condemns or even disagrees with the wisdom of engaging in their favorite sexual behaviors.

It was never about their freedom to love.
It was always about their freedom to hate.

As allegory the ancient story was true and remains true.

The proper term “Matrimony” has only ONE definition

The name of the seventh sacrament of the Catholic Church is Matrimony.

The definition of the word “matrimony” is derived from the fact that the principal object which a female should propose to herself in marriage is to become a mother; or from the fact that to a mother it belongs to conceive, bring forth and train her offspring.

There’s no room here for anything other than a purely heterosexual orientation.

If homosexuals feel as though they need some sort of purely civil, legal framework in order to formalize their seriously disordered personal arrangements, they ought to be able to come up with a proper and specific name for it, rather than attempting to misappropriate and misapply that which is sacred.

Something that would look good on a certificate … ensconced perhaps … in an expensive, designer frame!

Enough of the homosexual nonsense, already!

Promoters of homosexual rights now claim that the Catholic priest/child-abuse scandal has totally discredited both the Catholic priesthood and the Church, but at the same time, they (falsely) deny that the majority of the priests involved in the scandal were themselves, homosexual.

All this is just more proof that homosexuality is and has always been extremely corrosive to the fabric of society. ANY society!

When the late ‘60’s, post-Vatican II Catholic Church relaxed the standards for seminarians (and permitted homosexuals to run those seminaries) the seeds of destruction were sown.

The result was a virtual collapse of traditional Catholic orthodoxy, chaos in catechesis, widespread birth control, abortion, divorce and other forms of sexual immorality.

If you liked watching all the psychological and financial pain that was part and parcel of the priest/child-abuse scandal, just wait and see what happens to the U.S. military, if the homosexuals get their way!

Anyone who understands the homosexual mindset knows that everything must always be all about them and about what they so desperately want, no matter the consequences … and if prompt and total public approval of their perverted lifestyle choices is not immediately forthcoming, there’s no end to the tantrums.

Politicians, artists, Hollywood types, writers and teachers are particularly afflicted with the homosexual disorder, and even if “straight”, they remain extraordinarily amenable, sensitive and vulnerable to homosexual demands, so it’s up to the rest of us to stand up for the truth.

If history proves one thing, it’s that no society whose fabric has been torn apart by homosexual lies, perversions and outright fabrications, can properly function for very long.

Any expansion of homosexual rights is a slippery slope that can only lead to Hell. And you won’t necessarily have to die to go there, since if the homosexuals have their way, we will soon have our very own version of Hell, right here on earth.

That’s the type of misery active homosexuals choose to deal with every single day, and that’s precisely what they want for you and your children.

In their eyes, it’s only fair!

For a comprehensive report on this matter, including all the authentic facts and figures, as opposed to the fanciful exaggerations and lies that have been spread so often and for so long by homosexuals and their allies in the homosexual-friendly media, go here.

Heterosexuality: A New Hate Crime

The two examples should not come as a surprise, given where they originated. Canada and the UK have been world leaders in pushing a politically correct, pro-homosexual agenda, complete with government sanction. The first case has to do with a government proposal in Quebec to stamp out politically incorrect thinking on the issue of homosexuality.

It comes in the form of the “Quebec Policy Against Homophobia” released by Quebec’s Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Kathleen Weil. Journalist Drew Zahn explains. The policy is aimed at “eliminating all forms of ‘homophobia’ and ‘heterosexism’ – including the belief that homosexuality is immoral – from society as a whole.

“The text and specifics of the policy are steeped in vague bureaucratic language about ‘coordination’ and ‘synergy,’ but the goal is spelled out clearly: to enlist the government to normalize homosexuality in society and to quell common criticisms levied against ‘sexual minorities,’ a term the policy uses to inclusively describe ‘lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transsexuals and transgenders.’

“‘An inclusive society such as ours must take the necessary steps to combat homophobic attitudes and behavior patterns and move towards full acceptance of sexual diversity,’ states the Premier of Quebec Jean Charest in a letter that serves as the policy’s introduction. ‘The policy sets out the government’s goal of removing all the obstacles to full recognition of the social equality of the sexual minorities, at all levels of society.’ The policy further defines the heterosexism that must be stomped out as ‘affirmation of heterosexuality as a social norm or the highest form of sexual orientation.’

“Furthermore, the policy laments, ‘It is still possible to hear people say that homosexuality is an illness, morally wrong or a form of deviant behavior, and that people choose their sexual orientation. These beliefs, often instilled in the past, tend to marginalize sexual minority groups and prevent full recognition of their social equality.’ Such ‘prejudice,’ the policy affirms, must be combated.”

Why There is No “Gay Marriage” in the Catholic Church

Catholic Theology on Marriage

A legal and binding contract called “marriage” can be performed by a Notary Public or Justice of the Peace and this contract bestows certain rights and responsibilities on the parties who agree to the contract. According to the State, marriage is simply a legally binding contract. But the Church sees marriage differently, as a sacrament instituted by Christ, which may include but is not limited to the State’s definition of marriage.

According to the Catholic Church, marriage, as created by God, is a faithful, exclusive, lifelong union of a man and a woman. It is a not only a legal contract; marriage is a sacrament, a sacred bonding between humankind and God. This sacrament is intended to bond one man to one woman because the holy Scriptures define it as such.
