How did we get to the pink Pentagon?

The forces of social convention enlisted on the side of the rationalization of moral misbehavior are very powerful. Because of them, no one can now serve as a Secretary of Defense, or indeed of any other government agency, without endorsing Gay Pride Month. If you insist on publicly maintaining moral principles, you are officially part of the problem.

Why is it so very important not to be changed by this? What is the price of assent to and collaboration with Gay Pride? The answer is clearly spelled out in Romans 1. Saint Paul describes a situation eerily like our own in which those “who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator” fell into “shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature. And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts, one toward another: men with men, working that which is filthy…”

So those, “Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them.” (Italics added) Gay Pride is that consent, the price for which is the death of your soul.

Bishop Poprocki further explains what should have already been widely understood about Catholics living in various irregular (objectively sinful) ways

…Critics have been urging me to rescind my “Decree Regarding Same-sex ‘Marriage’ and Related Pastoral Issues.” However, this decree is a rather straightforward application of existing Catholic doctrine and canon law to the new situation of legal marital status being granted in civil law to same-sex couples, which is contrary to the teaching of the Catholic Church. All clergy before they are ordained take an Oath of Fidelity which includes the statement, “In fulfilling the charge entrusted to me in the name of the Church, I shall hold fast to the deposit of faith in its entirety; I shall faithfully hand it on and explain it, and I shall avoid any teachings contrary to it. I shall follow and foster the common discipline of the entire Church and I shall maintain the observance of all ecclesiastical laws, especially those contained in the Code of Canon Law.” Pastors and bishops repeat this oath upon assuming their office to be exercised in the name of the Church. Thus, deacons, priests and bishops cannot contradict Church teachings or refuse to observe ecclesiastical laws without violating their oath, which is a promise made to God.

Church of England proposes ‘blessings’ for homosexual unions

LONDON (Reuters) – Church of England clergy would be able to “bless” same-sex relationships under long-awaited proposals unveiled on Thursday as the church adopts a more open – but disputed – approach to homosexuality.

Russian lawmaker: “Homosexuality is not normal, I’m sorry.”

He railed against the legalisation of gay marriage in some European countries, describing it as a “symptom of an illness in society, a spiritual degradation”.

Catholic chaplains given marching orders barring service to gay couples

RNS () — Catholic military chaplains cannot be forced to witness or bless a same-sex marriage, nor are they allowed to take part in any marriage counseling retreats that are open to gay couples under new rules issued by the Archdiocese for the Military Services.

The rules, sent to chaplains on Sept. 18 by Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, head of the AMS, also bar chaplains from taking part in a funeral for a Catholic if that participation “would give the impression that the church approves of same sex ‘marital’ relationships.”

If quoting the Bible or the Catechism equals hate, then night has surely come to the West.

Homosexual activists and advocates often state that they merely want recognition and certain legal rights, and that churches and other objectors to their life style remain free to have their opinions and state them in a free culture. And any expressed fears regarding compulsory recognition or punitive measures directed against objectors are dismissed as fear mongering.

Never mind that these fears are based in real experiences in Canada and Europe where clergy have been arrested and fined for presenting the biblical case against homosexuality in the pulpits of their own churches or the pages of their bulletins.

President Obama panders to homosexuals over Russian Olympics

Why would Pope Francis say in June that there is a “gay lobby” in the Vatican and then say a month later that although there had been “talk about the gay lobby,” he’s never seen it on “the Vatican ID card”?

Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis’s “Who am I to judge” dismissal of the depravity represented even by any kind of perverse inclinations or impulses or feelings speaks volumes as to his complete shallowness as a thinker, no less to the total theological bankruptcy that characterizes the words he utters that so tickle the itching ears of men steeped in the universal pestilence of sentimentality.

While God alone is the sole Judge of the subjective state of souls, He gave us the sensus fidei when we were baptized in order to be able to recognize sin for what it is and thus to amend our own lives when are tempted to sin or find ourselves in the near occasion of sin.

This sensus fidei also provides us with the ability to perform the Spiritual Works of Mercy, which includes, of course, admonishing the sinner.

It is very telling that, as noted a few days ago, Jorge Mario Bergoglio never talks about the Spiritual Works of Mercy. Never means precisely that, that Catholics believe in the Spiritual Works of Mercy, Jorge. Here is a little review for you:

To instruct the ignorant.
To counsel the doubtful.
To admonish sinners.
To bear wrongs patiently;
To forgive offences willingly;
To comfort the afflicted;
To pray for the living and the dead.

Catholics also believe that there are nine ways
that they can be accessories to the sins of others:

1. By counsel.
2. By command.
3. By consent.
4. By provocation.
5. By praise or flattery of the evil done.
6. By silence.
7. By connivance.
8. By partaking.
9. By defense of the ill done.

High level political hack Bill Daley again attempting to “bully” Cardinal George

SPRINGFIELD — Democratic gubernatorial hopeful William Daley called Wednesday on Cardinal Francis George to back off his threat to cut off funding to an immigrant-rights coalition because of its support for same-sex marriage legislation at the Statehouse.

“My view on marriage equality and those of immigrant-aid groups who have similar views really are irrelevant to our collective duty to help those who are less fortunate,” Daley wrote in a letter to George.

Daley becomes the latest and one of the most prominent political voices to date to join in the pushback at George for his targeting of the Illinois Coalition of Immigrant and Refugee Rights, which has come out in support for same-sex marriage in the state.

Editor’s note: Bill Daley has long been in the habit of bullying Cardinal George by planting opinion pieces, often labeled as something else, in major Chicago newspapers – and unfortunately, the tactic has been at least partially successful. Now he’s doing it again.

Daley ought to know that the Catholic Church has no business supporting organizations that promote anti-Catholic causes. It’s that simple.

Some 250,000 pro-family marchers are evidently not too happy about (literally) gay Paree.

When they followed the noise and witnessed what she described as “pro-family” signs, Glass said she realized “oh, we’re not the only ‘crazy’ ones,” explaining that it is “sometimes very difficult to be on the right in America.”

Cardinal Dolan bans ten filthy homosexuals and their supporters from Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan today used the NYPD to prohibit from Sunday worship services gay Catholics and their allies by barring their entry into NYC’s historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the iconic home of the Roman Catholic Church in New York.

The small group of silent Catholic protestors were threatened with arrest by a New York City Police detective — unless they first washed their hands.

The ten Catholics, who are LGBT and not LGBT, and even parents of LGBT people, were responding to Cardinal Dolan’s April 25 blog post, “All Are Welcome!,” which tells gay people who wish to participate in the Catholic faith, you must first “wash your hands!” They labeled their actions today a “Dirty Hands Vigil.”

Recent protests should come as no surprise in the homosexual enclave known as Detroit.

The controversy over the rights of gay Catholics is heating up in the Detroit area.

This afternoon, supporters of gay Catholics gathered for a prayer vigil in front of the Archdiocese of Detroit’s chancery headquarters. They prayed to protest Archbishop Allen Vigneron’s comments last month that Catholics who support gay marriage or unions should not present themselves to receive communion.

Editor’s note: There’s no reason for controversy. “Gay” Catholics have all the same rights and responsibilities as other Catholics.

But after a generation of rampant pro-homosexual church leadership in Detroit, it’s only natural to expect a few protests when a faithful Catholic bishop finally decides to proclaim the obvious truth and issue a call for repentance.

Corruption of this type is hard to root out, especially when many Catholics no longer understand … and often, don’t even care … what the Church teaches … and why.

Two gay seniors at George Washington University say they feel alienated because the chaplain at George Washington’s Newman Center rejects homosexuality, and they aren’t going to take it anymore.

The seniors, Damian Legacy and Blake Bergen, have announced a coordinated campaign to rid the campus of the Roman Catholic priest, reports The GW Hatchet, the school’s independent student newspaper.

They also assert that 12 or more students have quit the Newman Center in recent years because they can’t tolerate Father Greg Shaffer’s ardent anti-gay and, for the record, anti-abortion — beliefs.

MARRIAGE is a sexual complementary union of body & soul of one man
and one woman that is inherently designed for procreation which results in
distinctive norms of family life, monogamy, exclusivity, permanence.

CHILDREN, in some cases, will be deliberately deprived of the opportunity
to be raised by a mother and father. Research shows a child develops best
with one mother and one father. Children should be of paramount
importance in considering public policy.

SCHOOLS will be mandated to teach homosexuality as normal behavior,
which many parents believe is unnatural, unhealthy, and/or immoral.

PARENTS have the right and responsibility to teach sexual conduct to their
children. David Parker, a father of a Massachusetts’ kindergartner, was
jailed overnight because he insisted his child be removed from class
during discussions about homosexuality. Massachusetts courts ruled
that because SSM is legal, schools have no obligation to notify parents.

BUSINESSES will be under further legal obligation to comply
or face lawsuits.

An Illinois bed & breakfast was sued because they refused
to accommodate a civil union ceremony in 2011.

Catholic Charities (of Illinois ) dropped their adoption care services
rather than place children in homosexual households.

SOCIAL AND CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS will be forced to accommodate
same-sex couples. County clerks, and justices-of-the-peace
will be obligated to issue marriage licenses or face the loss of their job.
On May 30, 2012, the ACLU and Lambda Legal filed lawsuits
against the Cook County Clerk, suing him for
not issuing gay “marriage” licenses to homosexual couples.

What to do about the problem of homosexual priests and bishops

In terms of action, Fr. Oko suggests:

• The homosexual mafia in the Church must be dealt with in a very professional way . We must act like a prosecutor or an officer in the battlefield;
• It is important that we find a large group of people of goodwill to protect us and support what we do. That group should include clergymen, as high in the hierarchy as possible, experts in various fields, archive records specialists, lawyers, policemen, journalists, and as many believers as possible;
• It is good to exchange information, documents, and evidence. The global network of homolobbies and homomafias must be counterbalanced by a network of honest people;
• The Internet is an excellent tool, which makes it possible to create a global community of people concerned about the fate of the Church;
• The more we know, the more we can do. We need to remember that in these matters we are like “sheep sent among wolves,” and so we must be “as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves” (St. Matthew 10:16). We must have the courage to stand up against evildoers, as Christ had the courage to stand up against the Pharisees of his times;
• We cannot build our lives on sweet illusions, for only “the truth will set you free” (St. John 8:32), and that is why “God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7); and
• All interventions should be made with utmost respect and love for every person, including the abuser.

He concludes that, remembering to “recognize them by their fruit” (cf. St. Matthew 7:16) – and with the publicly known events of the last quarter-century, the reaction of the Holy See, and the documents it issued – we must clearly and explicitly admit: yes, there is a strong homosexual underground in the Church.
