The man just can’t stop himself from telling lies!

Obama: I’m not a particularly ideological person

Try this “ideology” instead, Mr. (allegedly Christian) President!

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.. (Colossians 3:5-10)

When premarital sex, homosexuality, contraception, and abortion are encouraged in health class, isn’t pint-size Mayor Bloomberg’s crusade against sugary drinks a bit odd?

As the Church is backed into a corner because of its teaching on sexuality, and its institutions face increasing pressure to compromise and cooperate with abortion, gay marriage, and contraception, and after the city bans religious groups from using public property, lawmakers are getting moralistic about food. It’s a good thing if people eat less fat and sugar, to be sure, but let’s put first things first.

The alternative to bodily obsession is an integrated view of human existence, a concern for body and soul in due proportion, in which appetites are in harmony with right reason, and pleasure is not disdained but enjoyed properly (“insensibility” is also a vice, St. Thomas points out). For millennia, spiritual writers have remarked that corporal mortification, such as fasting, purifies the soul. Ordering one’s appetite goes a long way in ordering another. But it’s a sign of sickness when food and fitness become a rival religion.

Editor’s note: This type of ideology is also very popular with homosexuals. Perhaps the pint-size mayor is being less than candid with the people of New York City.

Self-control, patience, peace and prayer are essential in changing hearts and minds of the baby killers.

…women have been lied to by our culture — lies that drive them to abortion.

“Contraception sells them the lie that sexual activity can be separated from its life-giving potential, and the pro-contraception culture tells them to go ahead and engage in the act that creates babies even if they’re not ready to have a baby.”

Fulwiler added that organizations such as Planned Parenthood discourage women from understanding reproduction and the miracle that is happening inside their wombs, assuring them that the babies growing within them are not human and may pressure them to abort.

Keeping all of this in mind helps one keep an attitude of charity and sympathy, Fulwiler said.

More on how to gracefully engage pro-aborts

Editor’s note: This is a good article, but people should be strongly cautioned that when engaging militant pro-aborts, and/or leadership of the pro abortion crowd, they should be ready to have a “canned script” and a standard series of pre-planned “rhetorical exercises” expertly deployed against them.

Such things will have absolutely no correlation with logic, morality, the natural law, humanity, or the common good. It’s all about getting you off track and otherwise blunting your argument.

These people are unconcerned about killing babies, hurting women, or shedding innocent blood. They simply want what they want, when they want it … because the government has given them that power. And power … not logic, love, God or humanity … is what the pro abortion movement is all about.

At the very highest levels, we’re dealing with people who are politically motivated psychotic sociopaths … similar to those who routinely executed hundreds of millions of innocent people in Armenia, the Soviet Union, Mexico, Spain, Germany, China, Cambodia, Africa, and elsewhere … and to many of those who are presently holding positions of power within the Obama regime.

This is an ideological struggle between truth and lies, light and darkness, good and evil, life and death … and to successfully contend against those decrepit and malignant forces you’re going to need to put on the full armor of God.

See 2nd Corinthians 6:2-9 and Ephesians 6:10-19.

Writer pokes big holes in pro-abortion ideology

During the last decade or so, pro-lifers have worked to defeat the central pro-choice claim that abortion is necessary to women’s health and well-being. We’ve uncovered medical data revealing the short-term and long-term damage caused by abortion to a woman’s body. We’ve brought to light stories of women who have regretted their abortions. And we’ve spent considerable time and treasure giving women in crisis the practical tools necessary to bring their unborn children to term—since most women experience the abortion right as anything but the boon to women that feminists often claim it is. The once-ridiculed notion that one could be both pro-woman and pro-life has finally made its mark.

Yet, despite the gains pro-lifers have made in this regard, pro-choice feminists still adhere to another set of arguments entirely, arguments that resound in a popular slogan: “get your hands off my body.” In this view, because women, rather than men, get pregnant, a pregnancy forced by abortion restrictions signifies a basic gender inequality that no practical, pro-life social supports can alleviate, no matter what the medical data (which they still consider questionable) say about abortion’s aftermath. Indeed, “forced” pregnancy, for the most radical of pro-choice scholars and jurists, amounts to something akin to military conscription. As Justice Harry Blackmun wrote in his opinion in Planned Parenthood v. Casey nearly twenty years ago, “[Abortion restrictions] conscript women’s bodies into [the service of the State], forcing women to continue their pregnancies, suffer the pains of childbirth, and … provide years of material care.”

Barack Obama – The First “Gay” President?

Throughout much of his time in office, President Clinton was widely hailed as the first “black” president, even though he appears to be a white man.

In light of the imminent repeal of “Don’t Ask. Don’t Tell.” … President Barack Obama … already known by many as “The Abortion President” … can now rightly lay claim to the title of  first homosexual/gay president.

We know that President Obama is shameless … that everything must always be all about him … and that his personal ideology and his relativist morality never fail to trump his patriotic duty … so the title seems to be a good fit.

I wonder … is there a Nobel prize available for stuff like this?

As Communism is an ideological religion, Islam is a religious ideology.

The absolute political sovereignty of Islam, across the entire expanse of the world, over every living human being, is demanded by all the authoritative sources of Islamic faith: the text of the eternal, irreformable, absolutely flawless and uncreated Qur’an; the burden of the sacred Hadiths that give the authoritative life of the last prophet of God; and the lifetime example (as depicted in these two sources) of that prophet who is the “excellent example” of perfect human conduct.

Any variety of Islam that arises which renounces world supremacy, religious intolerance, the persecution of polytheists, the subjugation of Jews and Christians, the jizya, the oppressive marital laws and unequal sexual arrangements of Sharia would be heretical–as heretical as a variant of Christianity that renounced the divinity of Christ.

Obama’s Creed

obama

“… we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values.”

You can check the quote for accuracy on the Internet. It’s verifiable. Well, as reader Joan Solms (and conservative activist) says: who are “we”? And what “ideals and a set of values”? What are they?

Here is the closest affirmation I can find of what this 3rd World-indoctrinated mystery man of murky genealogical background really “believes” if in fact belief is the right word. He is really not very smart. He poses often with his forefinger dug into his cheek with a faraway look in his eyes from which we are to deduce he’s an intellectual. He’s decidedly not (take it from me who was the first to interview him on radio after he became a state senator).

Some say he’s a Deist like Thomas Jefferson but the above statement contradicts that. Jefferson who first postulated (in a private letter) the concept of “wall of separation” between church and state first suggested that members of Congress go to church in the Capitol itself. That’s not Obama. His statement above is humanist and intrinsically atheist. His 20-year membership in Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ was no test. How can one sit there for 20 years hearing Wright rave against whitey and believe that’s Christianity? Obama did it because he was a young man on the make and he decided the folks there could be put to good use as volunteers for him. Period. If he ever believed anything Wright said he should not have tossed him aside when the heat came on… because Wright was a detriment.

No, essentially Obama is an atheist clothed in humanist philosophy. His declaration above certifies it.
