Medical student describes exactly what happened in the operating room as he witnessed an abortion

When I entered the operating room, it felt like any other I had ever been in.

On the table in front of me, I saw a woman, legs up as if delivering a child although she was asleep. Next to her was a tray of instruments for the abortion and a vacuum machine for suctioning the fetal tissues from the uterus.

The doctors put on their gowns and masks and the procedure began. The cervix was held open with a crude metal instrument and a large transparent tube was stuck inside of the woman. Within a matter of seconds, the machine’s motor was engaged and blood, tissue, and tiny organs were pulled out of their environment into a filter.

A minute later, the vacuum choked to a halt. The tube was removed, and stuck to the end was a small body and a head attached haphazardly to it, what was formed of the neck snapped.

The ribs had formed with a thin skin covering them, the eyes had formed, and the inner organs had begun to function. The tiny heart of the fetus, obviously a little boy, had just stopped — forever.

The vacuum filter was opened, and the tiny arms and legs that had been torn off of the fetus were accounted for. The fingers and toes had the beginnings of their nails on them.

The doctors, proud of their work, reassembled the body to show me. Tears welled up in my eyes as they removed the baby boy from the table and shoved his body into a container for disposal.

Women Being Driven by Their Image of Men

Because of Roe – one court decision – abortions were somehow now acceptable. Any obstacles that stood in a woman’s way of getting her education or starting her career were fair game for destruction – even her children. Because after all, a women should be just like a man in every way. She could go to school like a man, have sex like a man, go to work like a man, and not have to carry children like a man.

Yet in this drive to be just like men in every single way, someone forgot that women are uniquely designed to give birth to the human race. We are women for a reason. We are nurturing for a reason – it’s simply a matter of design. Several recent editorials have voiced the view that women ought to realize their right to be mothers and the need for them to be just that.

The Equivalence of Slavery and Abortion

In order to condone slavery, you must dehumanize the slaves…render them either not human at all or not fully human.  Similarly, in order to condone abortion, we must completely dehumanize the infant in the womb.  The two crimes are equally abhorrent, yet at least the slaves were given, in most cases, life, family, food, shelter, and occupation.  The aborted unborn are given a horrible death in a cold, metal trash bin.

Archbishop denounces post-Christian paganism of Christian societies

La Plata, Argentina, Aug 9, 2010 / 04:02 pm (CNA).- The “post-Christian paganism fervently practiced by people who call themselves Christian,” is what makes people oblivious to the increasing inhumanity of society, said Archbishop Hector Aguer of La Plata, Argentina in a recent homily.

During an August 4 Mass at the archdiocesan seminary, the archbishop warned of a “common slip-up today” which consists of “being concerned about the social, cultural and political consequences of the faith, without asking oneself about the truth and credibility of the faith – which is taken as a given.”

What’s your stance on abortion?

Q: What’s your stance on abortion?

A: Abortion is a crime against humanity that has been decriminalized and promoted by governments all around the world, simply because it is politically expedient and cost effective.

As a matter of man’s inhumanity to man, the scourge of abortion rivals the debauchery of the infamous biblical cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, whose sins cried out to Heaven for vengeance.

Abortion is without equal in demonstrating massive and blatant disrespect for the sanctity of life, and concurrently, a profound lack of respect for God, who is the sole author of life.

Many years ago, the late Mother Teresa declared the advent of global terrorism to be a divine chastisement for the world wide practice of abortion.

Since then, things have only gotten worse.

God may be running out of patience.
