The father of a 13-year-old girl in Kansas is upset about a poster in his daughter’s classroom listing explicit sexual acts.

The poster, entitled, “How Do People Express Their Sexual Feelings?” lists sex acts such as: Oral Sex, Sexual Fantasy, Caressing, Anal Sex, Dancing, Hugging, Touching Each Other’s Genitals, Kissing, Grinding, and Masturbation.

Ellis said after being told by the school principal the poster was “teaching material,” he is now concerned about what his daughter is being taught in school.

“It upsets me,” he said. “And again, it goes back to who approved this? You know this had to pass through enough hands that someone should have said, ‘Wait a minute, these are 13-year-old kids, we do not need to be this in-depth with this sexual education type of program.’”

Kansas Governor Sam Brownback (a genuinely pro-life Catholic) for President!

Kansas Gov. Brownback signed sweeping anti-abortion legislation Friday.

The GOP governor is a strong abortion opponent who urged lawmakers to create “a culture of life” after taking office in January 2011.

“All human life is sacred. It’s beautiful,” Brownback said just before signing the measure, flanked by abortion opponents. “With this, we continue to build this culture of life in our state.”

An Associated Press photograph taken before the signing shows a page of notes about the bill on Brownback’s desk that included a handwritten message at the top: “JESUS + Mary.” Further down the page were typewritten notes spelling out Brownback’s belief that the bill would create “a culture of life.”

Editor’s note: A number of years ago, then Kansas Senator Brownback, a recent Catholic convert, addressed Father Frank Pavone’s National Pro-Life Prayer Breakfast, just hours before the commencement of the March For Life, in Washington, DC.

I was there.

Senator Sam from Kansas claimed to be 100% pro-life, yet we all knew that the infamous late term abortionist, George Tiller … was at that very moment likely hard at work back in Wichita, injecting poison into the hearts of late term babies … with the full backing and support of then Governor, Kathleen Sebelius.

Sam certainly had his work cut out for him!

Even though Father Frank knew Sam Brownback and vouched for him, the assembled pro-lifers were rightly skeptical, since they had already been deceived by many, many glad-handed politicians, in so many different ways, over so many years. 

Yet based on these latest developments, it looks as though Governor Brownback is “the real deal” … turning things around for life, in Kansas … albeit with much more tough work to be done.

That’s the type of ongoing conversion story that should inspire many. First … the conversion of a man … a powerful politician, no less … and then, the apparent conversion of much of the formerly pro-abortion Kansas legislature.

God speed, Governor … and the same to all the other good men and women of Kansas, who are working diligently, to turn things around for life!

The battle is far from over.

Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback Signs Comprehensive Pro-Life Bill.

This morning, Governor Sam Brownback signed HB 2253, the Pro-life Protections Act, into law.

HB 2253 codifies abortion informed consent materials authorized by the state health department, and removes all tax streams that pay for abortion and give tax advantages to abortion businesses.

The informed consent section has an added mandate for the state health department to facilitate medical information access and community support for families facing pre-birth and post-birth diagnoses of Down Syndrome and other conditions.

Infamous Kansas Killing Center set to reopen soon

This spring, Julie Burkhart, an abortion-rights advocate who lives in Wichita, is planning to reopen the abortion clinic that occupied this space for decades, setting the stage for a re-emergence of the fiery passions that once made this conservative manufacturing town the center of the abortion battle in the United States.

Ms. Burkhart was a colleague and close friend of Dr. George R. Tiller, the clinic’s proprietor, who was fatally shot in church by an anti-abortion advocate in 2009 and whom abortion opponents viewed as enemy No. 1 in part because he performed late-term abortions. His clinic, the state’s only abortion provider outside the Kansas City area, has been shut ever since.

Sebelius’ home State of Kansas steeped in abortion corruption.

Topeka, Kansas – Phill Kline stood before a seven-member panel at the Kansas Supreme Court yesterday and together with his attorney Tom Condit, made a final defense against a politically motivated ethics case against him that has spanned six years.

The Supreme Court consisted of only two sitting members of the Court, Justices Dan Biles and Nancy Moritz. The other five members recused themselves and were replaced by two Appellate Court Judges, Karen Arnold-Burger and Henry W. Green Jr., and three District Court Judges, Edward E. Bouker, Bruce T. Gatterman, and Michael J. Malone.

Disciplinary Administrator Stan Hazlett began the 90 minute proceeding by attempting to mitigate allegations that he was biased against Kline. He then went on to make arguments that contradicted that claim.

Kansas Gov. Brownback: “Freedom is a gift from God, not a privilege a government is entitled to take away. This unconscionable mandate must not be allowed to stand.”

TOPEKA — Thousands of people rallied Friday at the Kansas statehouse with Republican Gov. Sam Brownback and the state’s Roman Catholic bishops against a federal mandate for health insurance coverage of birth control, protesting it as an attack on religious freedom.

The event was part of a nationwide “Fortnight for Freedom” campaign organized by Catholic bishops nationwide in opposition to the policy announced in January by President Barack Obama.

Speakers urged the crowd to keep protesting the mandate and remain active politically.

Cohort of the late “Tiller the Killer” loses her Kansas medical license

In stripping Neuhaus of her license, the board accepted the findings of an administrative judge, who concluded in February that Neuhaus “seriously jeopardized” the care of her patients. The case against her involved mental health exams done in 2003 on 11 patients, ages 10 to 18. The judge said Neuhaus’ records didn’t contain enough information to show that she did thorough exams.

Neuhaus provided second opinions Tiller needed under Kansas law to perform some late-term abortions at his Wichita clinic. Until his death, Tiller was among a few U.S. physicians known to terminate pregnancies in their final weeks, and Neuhaus provided second opinions for him from 1999 to 2006.

Kline: Late Kansas abortionist George Tiller diagnosed healthy twin babies as a “dangerous fetal abnormality” … and killed ’em.

The Tiller discoveries came as part of Kline’s child rape investigations against Planned Parenthood in 2007, when he filed 107 charges, including 23 felonies, against the local affiliate. Kline says that out of 166 records of girls impregnated under 13 years old, abortion clinics had reported only two as instances of child rape, when the law required that all be reported. The two that were reported, he said, had already hit the media at the time.

Kline described his shock he felt as his investigations deepend and both the judicial system and local media turned on him, in tandem with Planned Parenthood. The abortion giant poured millions into defending itself, said Kline, because a conviction would mean the loss of $350 million in federal taxpayer funds.

Kline: Sebelius’ appointees engaged in unethical, possibly illegal, shredding of pivotal documents at the Kansas Department of Health

Former Attorney General Phill Kline said Friday he expects the actions of a Kansas political and legal system he described as corrupt would result in the dismissal of all remaining charges against a Planned Parenthood clinic accused of violating abortion laws.

Kline, an anti-abortion activist who initiated the investigation leading to 107 charges against Planned Parenthood in Johnson County, said in an interview with The Topeka Capital-Journal that “Shreddergate” should demonstrate the depth of corruption in defense of the Kansas abortion industry.

He blamed the administration of Democratic Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, now secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, for obstructing his legitimate criminal inquiries of abortion law violations involving Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri and the late Wichita abortion doctor George Tiller. Sebelius held to a pro-choice position as governor and received political help from supporters of Planned Parenthood and Tiller.

Means calls herself one of the least financially secure family physicians around.

The Obama connection: How corruption in Kansas placed abortionists above the law.

As Roxie is facing the gallows for the murder of her lover in the musical Chicago, her defense attorney Billy Flynn played by Richard Gere, turns towards her and says:

“Roxie, you got nothing to worry about…it’s all a circus, kid…you’ve got to razzle dazzle ‘em, give ‘em the old flim flam flummox, fool and fracture them – how can they hear the truth above the roar?”

Such was the strategy of the defense team for Dr. George Tiller and Planned Parenthood. To accomplish this end Planned Parenthood and Dr. Tiller retained the services of former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, her hand-picked Attorney General Paul Morrison, her later appointed Attorney General Stephen Six and Sebelius appointed Kansas Supreme Court Justice Carol Beier.[1]

Now Mr. Six is attempting the same flim flam flummox approach in his nominations hearing. President Obama has nominated Six for a seat on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals on the recommendation of Ms. Sebelius, now Secretary of Health and Human Services in the Obama Administration. The Sebelius appointment and now the Six nomination were both strongly supported by Planned Parenthood.

Steve Six (pro-abortion hack lawyer and Kathleen Sebelius minion) has no business on the federal appeals court

In October, 2007, District Attorney Phill Kline filed 107 charges including 23 felonies, against the Planned Parenthood abortion business for allegedly violating state law. Kline alleged the abortion business potentially engaged in illegal abortions and violated state record-keeping laws by changing abortion data in an attempt to cover up late abortions done outside Kansas law.

After Kline filed the charges, Six, who was appointed by pro-abortion ex-Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (now the Obama Secretary for Health and Human Services), placed a gag order on a state judge who allowed Kline access to Planned Parenthood abortion files needed to prove his case. Anderson was told not to comply with the District Attorney’s subpoenas by Six’s office even though two judges determined that the files show “probable cause” that the abortion business violated state abortion laws and falsified medical records.

During the hearing, according to the Washington Examiner, pro-life Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, the ranking Republican on the panel, asked Six about abortion and whether he believed the new Kansas law that bans abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy based on the scientific data showing unborn children can feel intense pain is consistent with U.S. Supreme Court decisions. The question is important because, if abortion advocates ever file a lawsuit challenging the law, Six would likely determine its fate if he becomes a member of the appeals court.

George Tiller’s abortions resulted in deaths of moms

George Tiller was not a doctor in any sense of the word. He was a man who possessed a medical degree and chose to degrade those credentials by becoming a late-term abortionist for money and fame. His specialty was the gruesome partial birth abortion procedure and he performed them up until the ninth month of pregnancy. He was one of only three men in this country to perform these abortions in the third trimester. As Bill O’Reilly pointed out on The O’Reilly Factor, Tiller performed over 60,000 late term abortions and made millions of dollars doing it. When America was a nation filled with rational people, 60,000 fetal deaths would have been considered butchery. There has been much criticism of pro-lifers who referred to him as “Tiller the Killer.” Sorry, but that’s exactly what the man did for a living. He killed. And not just babies.

Christin Gilbert was a pregnant 19 year old woman with Down’s Syndrome, and one of at least two women aborted and killed by George Tiller. Christin had been sexually assaulted, and brought to the Women’s Health Care Services when she was 28 weeks pregnant. She died following a botched third trimester abortion procedure, in which two injections of digoxin were administered to the unborn baby’s heart. Christin was supposed to deliver the dead baby in a hotel room, but she developed complications that resulted in sepsis, cardiac arrest and systemic organ failure. She was transported to a local hospital emergency room where she died on January 13, 2005. As of this writing, there are over 21 million search results on Google for “George Tiller” and only 3,520 for Christin Gilbert.

George Tiller, “High Priest of Late Term Abortions” gunned down inside Kansas church

The man who is responsible for the gruesome abortion deaths of thousands of innocent babies, many of them extremely late term, was gunned down today by an unknown assailant, while attending services at his church.

Tiller enjoyed the unqualified support of pro-abortion Kansas Governor, now Obama administration HHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius. Tiller was also a major donor to Sebelius’ political campaigns.

Various pro-life groups have strongly condemned the killing, stating that the pro-life movement is non-violent, and based on preserving human life and upholding the law, with charity to all … especially mass killers like George Tiller.

The fact that Tiller is known to have summarily killed and dismembered thousands of innocent pre-born babies for profit, gives no one the right to kill him. 

Father Pavone of Priests for Life issued the following statement:

“I am saddened to hear of the killing of George Tiller this morning. At this point, we do not know the motives of this act, or who is behind it, whether an angry post-abortive man or woman, or a misguided activist, or an enemy within the abortion industry, or a political enemy frustrated with the way Tiller has escaped prosecution. We should not jump to conclusions or rush to judgment. 

“But whatever the motives, we at Priests for Life continue to insist on a culture in which violence is never seen as the solution to any problem. Every life has to be protected, without regard to their age or views or actions.”

Barack Obama, the ABORTION President, had this to say:

“I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence.”

Randall Terry, a noted pro-life activist with a distinct penchant for “telling it like it is” said this:

“George Tiller was a mass murderer and we cannot stop saying that,” Terry said. “He was an evil man – his hands were covered with blood.”

Terry said he was now concerned that the Obama administration “will use Tiller’s killing to intimidate pro-lifers into surrendering our most effective rhetoric and actions.”

Whatever the reasons behind all this, and without attempting to prematurely place blame on anyone … one thing’s for sure: The women of Wichita and their yet to be born sons and daughters, are much safer now than they were just a few short hours ago.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to George Tiller’s family and friends.

“Tiller the Killer” is dead. May God have mercy on his soul.

Note to President Obama: We completely agree that difficult issues such as abortion cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence.

Please take the necessary steps to put an immediate end to all abortions, which are indeed heinous acts of violence … while we “work to resolve our profound differences” about the issue.

As a Roman Catholic, Gov. Sebelius’ appointment is “the source of the greatest embarrassment because she has publicly and repeatedly betrayed her Catholic faith, in the most fundamental tenet of the moral law, that is, the law to safeguard and foster human life from the moment of its inception to the moment of natural death,” said Archbishop Burke.

“Her position on the question of procured abortion is the source of the greatest scandal to Catholics and to all who uphold the natural moral law,” he continued.

I am not a politician, I am a priest. So I would like to give my priestly perspective about the recent endorsement of Senator Sam Brownback for the candidacy of Kathleen Sebelius for Secretary of Health and Human Services: Senator Brownback’s cowardly betrayal of his Catholic faith is even more damaging than his political permission for this renegade to take office.

The situation is atrocious. An extremist abortion hack (called the most pro-abortion governor in the nation by many), who falsely calls herself “Catholic,” is given the opportunity to preside over the nation’s healthcare system and normalize abortion even further; this radical is then endorsed by a US senator who also calls himself “Catholic” and who, many believe, wants her job back home when she becomes the abortion queen in DC.

With pro-lifers like Senator Sam Brownback, who needs pro-aborts?

Moral theologians can work out what level of cooperation in evil the Senator’s endorsement represents – he is, after all, an influential senator whose opposition, if he had given it, may very well have stopped her nomination. Yet, those of us who do not breathe the rarified air of Washington DC and who have dedicated our lives to defending the sanctity of human life understand one thing: any covenant with the abortion industry or its promoters is consent to the killing. As a convert to the Catholic Faith, Senator Brownback seems not to understand the Church’s profoundly wounded heart with regard the slaughter of the innocents. The Church tells us never to participate in that slaughter, no matter what the cost; we do not give aid and comfort to the enemies of human life, we do not stand by while the innocent are being dragged off to a violent murder, and under no circumstances do we endorse the political aspirations of their executioners. Politicians who sell the lives of babies for political gains are the worst kind of turncoats.

Yet, this Catholic Senator’s decision constitutes, I think, a watershed moment for all of us who want to see an end to the immoral industry of baby-killing in our country. We will never be served by the compromise of our principles in any form. Catholicism is the solution to this culture of death. If only Catholics ourselves would fully live up to our doctrine and put it into practice, there would be no “Tiller the Killer”s in Kansas, no partial birth abortions, no immoral sex education in the schools or Planned Parenthoods dominating our public life. Self-described “Catholics” like Brownback (in politics), Doug Kmiec (in academia), Hannity, Matthews and O’Reilly (in media) and others are not the solution to the problem – they are enablers of the problem. Despite their high-sounding lip service to the culture of life, they are compromisers. They will never end abortion because they don’t want to end abortion.

I have often said that false Catholics, whether they be Cardinals, politicians or janitors, are the ones who have the most to account for on the Day of Judgment when they will have to account for ignoring Christ in His “least brethren,” the unborn. Whether through advocacy of the evil (like Sebelius) or negligence in stopping it (like Brownback), they have blood on their hands. They’ve been given everything the Church has to offer: the teaching, the sacraments, the example of the saints and the grace to stand against Satan and all his works and all his empty promises. In other words, they know better, and the Biblical warning applies to them: “To whom much has been given, much will be required.” Cowards and turncoats beware.
