Will Obama apologize to the Libyan people before he comes clean and apologizes to his own countrymen?

Lame excuses and false, self serving statements from the Commander in Chief:

“And what is true,” he continued, “…This is something that the American people can take to the bank—is that my administration plays this stuff straight. We don’t play politics when it comes to American national security,” the president said. “As information came in we gave it to the American people. And as we got new information, we gave that to the American people.”

Editor’s note: The first gay president would also like everyone to know that he’s pro-life.

Rush Limbaugh, on the Obama regime’s deadly non-response and shameful cover up in Benghazi, Libya: “This government made not one move, with full knowledge of what was going on, to protect those Americans.”

“The president may not have been aware that he had aircraft carriers in the region that planes land on and take off from and they go out and complete missions and they come back and they land.

And we got these things they call submarines. They go under the water so the bad guys can’t see ‘em. They’re in the region, too. We got some naval assets in that region that could have been used.”

“They could have been authorized to take action to save the lives of Americans. Remember: Four dead in a seven-hour attack, two of them died in the final hours. This government made not one move, with full knowledge of what was going on, to protect those Americans. We had hundreds of people watching in real time, folks, as 30 Americans were being attacked for seven hours. Nobody rode to their rescue.”

Limbaugh says most of the national media is now ignoring the revelations from the emails.

Editor’s note: This near criminally negligent foreign policy debacle … the equivalent of Jimmy Carter’s desperate, ill-fated, failed Iranian hostage rescue attempt … pretty much cancels out any “glory” that may have attached to the Obama regime after the bin Laden raid … leaving them with absolutely nothing to show for their foreign policy efforts, but failure.

Ditto for their economic policies, which have succeeded only in wasting trillions of dollars on the only shovel-ready project they had, which was digging a bigger economic hole for the U.S. economy.

The president should admit that he was simply too busy campaigning, and apologize to the American people.

Buchanan: Why did the White House persist with the phony story of a protest against a video being the cause of Ambassador Stevens’ death, when they had to know there was no protest?

On Sept. 11, scores of men with automatic weapons and RPGs launched a night assault on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and set the building ablaze. Using mortars, they launched a collateral attack on a safe house, killing two more Americans, as other U.S. agents fled to the airport.

On Sept. 14, White House press secretary Jay Carney said the attack came out of a spontaneous protest caused by an anti-Muslim video on YouTube.

On Sept. 16, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice told the entire nation the attack had not been premeditated or preplanned but emanated from a spontaneous protest of the nasty video.

On Sept. 25, Obama at the United Nations mentioned the video six times.

But when they were pushing this tale, what did the White House actually know?

Libya: War … as designed by an Ivy League professor.

by Charles Krauthammer

This confusion is purely the result of Obama’s decision to get America into the war and then immediately relinquish American command. Never modest about himself, Obama is supremely modest about his country. America should be merely “one of the partners among many,” he said Monday. No primus inter pares for him. Even the Clinton administration spoke of America as the indispensable nation. And it remains so. Yet at a time when the world is hungry for America to lead — no one has anything near our capabilities, experience and resources — America is led by a man determined that it should not.

A man who dithers over parchment. Who starts a war from which he wants out right away. Good G0d. If you go to take Vienna, take Vienna. If you’re not prepared to do so, better then to stay home and do nothing.
