San Francisco politics: Sodomy = Good. Happy Meals = Bad.


Over 25,000 homosexual men have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in San Francisco since the epidemic began. Homosexual behavior among men accounts for 85-89 percent of HIV/AIDS cases in that city, so there’s not a big mystery about what’s causing this disease. And despite antiretroviral drug treatments, the lives of those infected are gravely impacted and often shortened.

Rectal gonorrhea and syphilis among male homosexuals is also high in the city by the Bay, along with intravenous drug use.

So of course the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in no way discourages dozens of “gay” bath houses, bars and sex clubs with names like Steamworks and Eros, and sex-drenched street events like the annual Folsom Street Fair, attended by thousands of nude, cruising homosexual males.

France, June 2, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A new McDonald’s ad in France, part of their large “come as you are” ad campaign,  features a homosexual teen speaking sweetly to his male paramour before he is forced to closet his emotions before a presumably insensitive father.

“We see McDonald’s decision to backhand hundreds of millions of traditional family values people,” Bill Johnson, President of the American Decency Association, told LifeSiteNews, “and align themselves with promoting the godless behavior of a few.”

In the ad, a boy sitting in McDonald’s receives a call from his lover while his father orders a meal.  He tells his lover that he was thinking about him, and that he misses him, before he hangs up because his father is coming.

OAK BROOK, Illinois, July 16, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The boycott against McDonald’s over its public support of a gay lobby group pushing same-sex “marriage” has now escalated, as the pro-family groups the global hamburger giant accused recently of “hate” have brought the fight right to the home of the famed Golden Arches.

The American Family Association (AFA), Americans for Truth, the Illinois Family Institute, and the legal advocacy group Liberty Counsel held a joint press conference Wednesday in front of the McDonald’s restaurant across from McDonald’s corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois to protest the corporation’s statements that people opposed to its support of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), were motivated by “hate.”

The family groups had asked McDonald’s to stop supporting the NGLCC, which advocates same-sex “marriage,” and repeated their call for McDonald’s to remain neutral in the culture wars.

“Unfortunately, McDonalds has chosen to side with militant homosexual activists over people with traditional values,” stated Matt Barber, Director of Cultural Affairs with Liberty Counsel. “The company has further escalated the controversy by lodging a personal attack against the tens of millions of Americans who support traditional sexual morality and legitimate marriage.”

Barber continued, “While referring to Christians and other people with traditional values, McDonald’s spokesman Bill Whitman arrogantly told the Washington Post that, ‘Hatred has no place in our culture,’ thereby suggesting that people who support the historical definition of marriage are simply motivated by ‘hate.’

“This insult is highly offensive, and anyone who supports traditional marriage should boycott McDonalds and tell the company why they’re doing so.”

Boycott McDonald’s – Say NO to Corporate Support for Gay Agenda

That’s my personal stand on this boycott called for by the American Family Association. I believe it is the right thing to do. And I am personally asking you to join me and the AFA and millions of other Americans who believe as we do to drop McDonald’s from our consideration of fast-food outlets for as long as this boycott lasts.

My guess is it will last a very long time – years. That assessment is based on the intractability of the statements offered up by McDonald’s corporate leadership. These guys are going to need to feel real pain to change their way of thinking. They believe they are doing good by promoting the radical homosexual agenda and same-sex marriage. And they likely believe they are catering to a prosperous and growing market of homosexuals in the process.

All the current corporate executives and board members may need to be forced out of power by angry shareholders before McDonald’s changes its tune.

But how much of a sacrifice is it for me to ask you to avoid McDonald’s until further notice?

Is it really much to ask?

Is McDonald’s that irresistible?

Is the food that good?

Are there not enough fast-food choices where you live?

Do you really need fast food at all?

I know boycotts alone won’t solve all the problems we have in America with a decaying culture and declining moral standards. But I believe occasionally boycotts are the only responsible thing to do in the face of arrogant corporate insults to our intelligence and our most sacred beliefs.

That’s where we are with McDonald’s today.

McDonald’s rakes in billions of dollars selling food that is of questionable nutritional value. Now it is determined to take its profits into the active support of a radical social cause supported by no more than a tiny minority of political extremists. Not to put too fine a point on it, but neither Barack Obama nor Hillary Clinton supported same-sex marriage in their campaigns for the presidency. That puts McDonald’s to the fringe left of the two front-running candidates for the Democratic Party presidential nomination.

Is that the political movement you want to support with your hamburger money?

I don’t.

So I urge you to join the boycott.

Avoid McDonald’s like the plague. Don’t go back until there is unconditional surrender by the McDonald’s corporation. Demand total capitulation. McDonald’s needs to stop funding abomination and start funding family values before I consider taking another bite of a Big Mac.

Dear Reader,

Throwing out any pretense of being neutral in the culture war, McDonald’s has taken up the rhetoric of gay activists, suggesting those who oppose same-sex marriage (SSM) are motivated by hate.

AFA has asked for a boycott of McDonald’s restaurants because of the company’s promotion of the gay agenda. AFA asked McDonald’s to remain neutral in the culture war. McDonald’s refused.

In response to the boycott, McDonald’s spokesman Bill Whitman suggested to the Washington Post that those who oppose SSM are motivated by hate, saying “…hatred has no place in our culture.” McDonald’s has decided to adopt the “hate” theme used by gay activist groups for years.


Whitman went on to say, “We stand by and support our people to live and work in a society free of discrimination and harassment.”  

Mr. Whitman has intentionally avoided addressing the reason for the boycott. This boycott is not about hiring gays or how gay employees are treated. It is about McDonald’s choosing to put the full weight of their corporation behind promoting their agenda. 

 

 

 

McDonald’s donated $20,000 to the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce in exchange for membership and a seat on the group’s board of directors. The NGLCC lobbies Congress in support of same-sex marriage.
        
McDonald’s CEO Jim Skinner said the company will promote issues they approve. “Being a socially responsible organization is a fundamental part of who we are. We have an obligation to use our size and resources to make a difference in the world…and we do.”

McDonald’s CEO: Company will put full resources behind gay agenda.

McDonald’s has signed on to a nationwide effort to promote “gay” and “lesbian” business ventures.

According to McDonald’s CEO Jim Skinner, McDonald’s will aggressively promote the homosexual agenda. In remarks on McDonald’s Web site concerning the company becoming a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), Skinner wrote: “Being a socially responsible organization is a fundamental part of who we are. We have an obligation to use our size and resources to make a difference in the world … and we do.”

The company gave an undisclosed amount of money to the NGLCC in return for being recognized as a major promoter of the homosexual agenda. In return, NGLCC placed Richard Ellis, vice president of communications of McDonald’s USA, on the NGLCC Board of Directors.

Ellis was quoted as saying: “I’m thrilled to join the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce team and ready to get to work. I share the NGLCC’s passion for business growth and development within the LGBT community, and I look forward to playing a role in moving these important initiatives forward.”

McDonald’s refused to comment to World Net Daily on the placement of its executive on the board of the “gay” advocacy organization but did send an e-mail confirming the corporation’s support for the agenda of the homosexual business lobby.

“McDonald’s is indeed a Corporate Partner and Organizational Ally of NGLCC. Our vice president of U.S. communications, Richard Ellis, was recently elected to its board of directors,” said Heidi M. Barker, senior director of media relations for McDonald’s. NGLCC describes itself as promoting the LGBT community first and always, including same sex marriage.

NGLCC gives credit to sponsors such as McDonald’s for its financial and other support that helps in its work. “Through the commitment of our corporate partners, the NGLCC has been able to advance the ideas and causes of the LGBT business community,” the Chamber said.
