8 reasons for Catholics to see the upcoming Noah movie

Goliath and his gigantic brothers
were thought to be surviving Nephilim

Now giants were upon the earth in those days. For after the sons of God went in to the daughters of men, and they brought forth children, these are the mighty men of old, men of renown. And God seeing that the wickedness of men was great on the earth, and that all the thought of their heart was bent upon evil at all times, it repented him that he had made man on the earth. And being touched inwardly with sorrow of heart, He said: I will destroy man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth, from man even to beasts, from the creeping thing even to the fowls of the air, for it repenteth me that I have made them. (Genesis 6:4-7)

Scot Landry offers up his thoughts

Some “deep background” from the old, non-biblical book “First Enoch”

1 And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms 2 and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they 3 became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed 4 all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against 5 them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and 6 fish, and to devour one another’s flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

Now back to the Bible:

But these men blaspheme whatever things they know not: and what things soever they naturally know, like dumb beasts, in these they are corrupted. Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain: and after the error of Balaam they have for reward poured out themselves and have perished in the contradiction of Core. These are spots in their banquets, feasting together without fear, feeding themselves: clouds without water, which are carried about by winds: trees of the autumn, unfruitful, twice dead, plucked up by the roots: Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own confusion: wandering stars, to whom the storm of darkness is reserved for ever. Now of these Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying: Behold, the Lord cometh with thousands of his saints: To execute judgment upon all and to reprove all the ungodly for all the works of their ungodliness, whereby they have done ungodly: and for all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against God. These are murmurers, full of complaints, walking according to their own desires: and their mouth speaketh proud things, admiring persons, for gain’s sake. (Jude 1:10-16)

ADL’s Foxman says he has no problems with the Son of God movie

Foxman

The ADL’s Abe Foxman is no fan
of Christianity or Jesus Christ.
Why does he like this movie?

“The story of the crucifixion and the way it has been used through the centuries has never been good for the Jews,” he said.

“Having said that, ‘Son of God’ is the most sensitive, caring depiction of the story of Jesus that I have ever seen. The producers have done everything possible to put the events into historical, political and psychological context.”

Foxman said that he thought “Son of God” could replace “Passion of the Christ” as the go-to movie for films about the life and death of Christ.

“It’s not perfect, but it’s done with the proper sensitivity and perspective and I would hope that for future generations, ‘Son of God’ will be the vehicle used to teach that part of history,” he said.

Foxman said that his organization met with Downey and Burnett and provided each other with “mutual guidance.”

Editor’s note: If Abe Foxman and the ADL approves of anything Christian, we can be reasonably certain that it has already been hopelessly compromised.

First, the devil – who happens to resemble Barack Obama gets edited out, and now Foxman is allowed to get in his “licks”!

Don’t waste your time or your hard-earned money seeing this this highly edited, fatally compromised, main stream Hollywood mish-mash.

The “fix” is in!

Old movie about the takeover of Hungary and the Soviet/Communist persecution of Cardinal Mindeszenty should serve as a wake-up call for today’s citizenry!

guilty

Hungarian Cardinal Mindeszenty is imprisoned as an enemy of the Communist state. A propaganda film typical of the 1950s, but based on a real-life incident; includes a powerful trial scene. (1949; B&W)

  • Starring: Charles Bickford, Paul Kelly
  • Directed by: Felix E. Feist
  • Runtime: 1 hour 27 minutes
  • Release year: 2005
  • Studio: Synergy Ent

Watch free on Amazon Prime or buy the DVD.

Editor’s note: The torture, trial and political intimidation portrayed in this in this film is unfortunately, now coming back into style. The deadly and totally scurrilous tactics should give every free person pause, since tyranny and despotism is typically only one war … or one election … away … even in these United States.

Cardinal Mindeszenty is both a heroic and a tragic figure, since he stood up against the godless Soviets virtually alone – refusing to compromise his Catholic faith. Unfortunately, Pope Paul VI and the Vatican policy makers had no problem eventually cutting the Cardinal loose, for purely political reasons, as part of their post Vatican II ecumenical outreach to the communists.

Watching the Soviets complete take over and subversion of the Hungarian government unfold, I couldn’t help thinking how the same thing was accomplished only a few years later in the Catholic Church, by certain nameless, faceless Vatican elitists – and only a few years after that, in 1968, when the hippies occupied the streets of Chicago and succeeded in wresting control of the Democratic Party from the “old guard” – eventually turning that party into a collection of fruits, nuts, baby-killers and tyrannical Marxist/socialist ideologues (the likes of Bill and Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein and a cast of many thousands more.)

Watch “Guilty of Treason” and see if it doesn’t make a similar impact on you. We may be experiencing similar events in this country, very soon!

Thanks to Thomas A. Droleskey for the tip.

Read the real-life diary of the exorcist portrayed in the famous movie

ST. LOUIS (KSDk) — Many consider the 1973 film “The Exorcist” the scariest movie of all time. Wednesday is the 40th anniversary of the film’s release.

If the mere thought of the famous flick gives you the chills, consider this: It’s directly based on a true incident that happened in St. Louis.

The real story that inspired the famous book and movie happened in 1949. It began in Maryland, ended in St. Louis, and involved several Jesuits from Saint Louis University.

Father Raymond J. Bishop, S.J. kept a day-by-day account of the exorcism.

A positive movie review of “The Rite” … plus … 11 things you should know about exorcism.

I would like to say a few things about exorcism that are important to know and remember, especially when sensationalistic movies etc. take liberties. Allow these observations of mine in no particular order.
