And we got these things they call submarines. They go under the water so the bad guys can’t see ‘em. They’re in the region, too. We got some naval assets in that region that could have been used.”

“They could have been authorized to take action to save the lives of Americans. Remember: Four dead in a seven-hour attack, two of them died in the final hours. This government made not one move, with full knowledge of what was going on, to protect those Americans. We had hundreds of people watching in real time, folks, as 30 Americans were being attacked for seven hours. Nobody rode to their rescue.”

Editor’s note: This near criminally negligent foreign policy debacle … the equivalent of Jimmy Carter’s desperate, ill-fated, failed Iranian hostage rescue attempt … pretty much cancels out any “glory” that may have attached to the Obama regime after the bin Laden raid … leaving them with absolutely nothing to show for their foreign policy efforts, but failure.
Ditto for their economic policies, which have succeeded only in wasting trillions of dollars on the only shovel-ready project they had, which was digging a bigger economic hole for the U.S. economy.
The president should admit that he was simply too busy campaigning, and apologize to the American people.
