Planned Parenthood to honor pro abort Senator (the man who discovered soot inside Chicago’s Union Train Station) on January 23rd

A recent email from Chicago’s Pro-Life Action League:

As you know, next week marks the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade,
the horrible Supreme Court ruling that stripped unborn babies of
their right to life.

While we pro-lifers hold memorial events all over the country
lamenting this tragedy and recommitting ourselves to defending
unborn babies, Planned Parenthood will be CELEBRATING.

In fact, they’re throwing a huge abortion party in Chicago on
January 23. What’s more they’ll be honoring Senator Dick Durbin
with a “lifetime achievement” award.

But get this: Dick Durbin used to be an outspoken pro-lifer!

I’d like to invite you to JOIN ME to protest Planned Parenthood’s
gala event next week:

EVENT: Protest of Dick Durbin and Planned Parenthood
WHEN: Thursday, January 23, 5:00 p.m.
WHERE: The Bottom Lounge, 1375 W. Lake St, Chicago
MAP: https://goo.gl/maps/8aZAw

Editor’s note: Senator Durbin shares rooms with New York Senator Charles “Chuckie” Schumer, when in Washington, DC. Perhaps his mother forgot to caution little Dick about keeping bad company, as well as a few other very important things!

Pro-death camp’s “Conceived In Rape Tour” has a fatal flaw

As I have written about before, I was born to teenage parents in 1972, before Roe v. Wade. I don’t know what would have happened had abortion been legal in Ohio then, but the timeline is such that I’ve always counted my lucky stars to have been given a chance to be born.

Before I go further, I will allow that, as a rape survivor (yes, I must have won some lottery for interesting life experiences), the “Conceived in Rape” tour you write about creeps me out to some degree. At the same time, these people have lived their lives having to deal with the knowledge of their conception, and the knowledge that half their genetic material comes from a monster, so it seems unfair to pick on them.

But the “what if my mom had an abortion” applies to more people than those whose mothers were raped.  It applies to people born in the mixed up days before Roe v. Wade when abortion was legal in some places and not others. It applies to everyone who’s ever been adopted.  Of course, it really applies to EVERYONE, but some of us have more cause to dwell on it than others.

And I think the reason that we freak out the pro-choice movement so much is not that we’re woman-hating sex phobes. It’s that we fly in the face of the narrative about how awful life is for unwanted children. We give lie to the claim that a fetus is just a clump of tissue. We offer painfully real evidence of what happens if you don’t have an abortion. It’s very easy to say “but what about all the times that you have sex and don’t get pregnant?” Duh.  But once something has been done, it can’t simply be undone.  An aborted fetus had a heartbeat, and a brain, and, depending on the gestational age, tiny arms and legs and maybe even fingers and toes. It was human.

A ‘cultural axis of evil’

“The child-killing movement and the ‘homosexual marriage’ movement have formed an unbreakable bond – a ‘cultural axis of evil’ – because they both spring from the same root: the rejection of God’s Law and Natural Law concerning human sexuality and procreation’.” – Randall Terry

“That’s a baby! They told me it was just a ‘blob of tissue.’ They lied to me!”

One pro-life counselor was able to talk to a young mother and show her pictures of an abortion. She not only changed her mind but also went to the pregnancy center across the street. She was frightened by a crowd of “pro-aborts” that followed her, yelling out her name as she and her mother got out of the car.

Once inside the center, she was given an ultrasound. Upon seeing her preborn child on the screen, she exclaimed, “That’s a baby! They told me it was just a ‘blob of tissue.’ They lied to me!”

Obama uses shill “Catholic” groups to front for back door government funded abortions in health bill

obama planned parenthood

During a Wednesday teleconference sponsored by the left-leaning religious organizations Catholics United, Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good and Faith in Public Life, both White House Director of Domestic Policy Melody Barnes and President Obama denied that the health care bill would allow for federally funded abortions.

But according to Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser, “public support for abortion is on decline, and the President knows that openly advancing an abortion mandate in health care reform is unpopular with the American people.”

“Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Obama’s statements conflict with the proposed legislation. Americans demand an explicit exclusion of abortion coverage, not more obfuscation and confusion from the President and his allies,” she added.

Note how presidential aid Melody Barnes deceptively speaks for the President “out of both sides of her mouth”:

One caller asked Barnes whether Catholics interested in seeing universal health care coverage had to be worried about abortion coverage.

“The president has said it’s longstanding policy federal funds won’t be used for abortion coverage,” Barnes said, adding that people “should be able to purchase coverage that reflects their values and basic needs.”

On July 17, 2007, Obama addressed a group of Planned Parenthood staff and supporters. Planned Parenthood is the largest purveyor of abortion in the world.

He said, “In my mind, reproductive care is essential care. It is basic care. And so it is at the center and at the heart of the [health care reform] plan that I am proposing.” He further stated, “We’re going to set up a public plan that all persons and all women can access if they don’t have health insurance. It’ll be a plan that will provide all essential services, including reproductive services.”

(Editor’s note: “Reproductive health care” is code for ABORTION.

As of today, the Hyde Amendment is still in effect, so Barnes is (technically) telling the truth.

Unfortunately, the Hyde Amendment applies ONLY to Medicare and would not limit abortion funding in any aspect of the NEW government-run health care system. If the new health bill becomes law, abortion will then indeed be paid for by federal money.

They don’t call Barack Obama “the ABORTION President” for nuthin!)

Barack Obama the ABORTION President says one thing … does another

obama planned parenthood

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — The following is a compilation of bill signings, speeches, appointments and other actions that President Barack Obama has engaged in that have promoted abortion before and during his presidency. While Obama has promised to reduce abortions and some of his supporters believe that will happen, this long list proves his only agenda is promoting more abortions.

Tiller’s own church refuses to host his funeral. Classic case of “Too little. Too late!”

Tiller reportedly now reunited with old friend and mentor

George Tiller, Wichita’s “favorite son” late-term abortionist and a fellow who in life, rarely met a baby he didn’t want to kill, will be sent to his eternal reward on Saturday, but his own church won’t be hosting the funeral.

Funny how a little publicly spilled blood can make people think twice about who they support, and why. Maybe those graphic abortion signs and truth trucks ARE the most effective way to help people understand the grave and eternal consequences of abortion, after all!

“Tiller the Killer” has already been declared a martyr for the pro-death cause, and a selfless servant of desperate men and women, everywhere.

Martyrs can usually count on getting a “free pass” into Heaven, but in this case, it’s not considered very likely.

The estimated 60,000 babies that Tiller destroyed (in exchange for substantial fees, of course) would probably agree.

Want to bet that Barack Obama, the ABORTION President, and his pro-death HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius don’t even have the “guts” to attend?
