Alliance for Life Challenges Muslims to Join the Pro Life Movement

Alliance for Life Challenges Muslims to Join the Pro-Life Movement

May 5, 2008

Alliance for Life, a pro-life organization that was recently founded to help coordinate all of the various pro life “assets” available to the movement, today issued a challenge to faithful Muslims in the United States to join with other like-minded pro life citizens, standing shoulder to shoulder in peaceful solidarity with them, picketing local abortuaries around the country, as equal partners in one of the most important human rights struggles the world has ever known.

Whether one knows God as Father, Yahweh, Jesus, or Allah, makes little difference when the innocent blood of defenseless infants is being routinely shed on a daily basis, across the United States, and around the world.

A series of speaking engagements is currently being scheduled at Churches and Mosques throughout the midwest.

For more information on this new pro life, pro family, interfaith initiative, or to schedule a speaking appearance, please contact Doug Lawrence.

Report on the April Pro Life Rally in Aurora, Illinois

I’m excited to report that Saturday’s “It’s a Matter of LIFE &
DEATH” rally was a huge success — despite the harsh, chilly winds.

Or maybe I should say “because of”. The fact that it was such an
unseasonably cold day REALLY pumped up the crowd of over 400
courageous pro-lifers.

We packed both sides of New York Street with picket signs and large
pictures showing the beauty of life and the horror of abortion.

Along Oakhurst, the poignant “Cemetery for Choice” mourned the deaths
of mothers who have died having abortions, while farther down
Oakhurst 100 pro-lifers prayed for an end to abortion.

The rally concluded with a thrilling “Balloons for Life” launch,
with hundreds of pink and blue balloons soaring aloft, each
representing a baby saved from abortion by pro-life ministry.

Wanted: One million Americans to pray Pro-Life Rosary on May 3rd

Memphis, Tenn., Mar 28, 2008 / 03:29 am (CNA).- The Saint Michael the Archangel Organization is attempting to organize one million people in the United States to pray the Rosary for unborn babies on Saturday, May 3.

Organizers of the prayer event, called One Million Rosaries for Unborn Babies, are asking participants to pray during the same 60-minute time span, beginning at 9 a.m. Eastern Time.

Patrick Benedict, President of the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization, said, “The primary way to stop the killing of unborn babies is not by way of politics and is not by way of education.”

“The person battling the ‘Culture of Death’ is primarily in a spiritual battle and needs to use spiritual weaponry.”, he continued.

“The Rosary is a powerful spiritual weapon, and I hope there will be at least one million people in the United States taking hold of their Rosaries on May 3.”

The organization is asking Pope Benedict XVI to re-establish the practice of offering prayers such as the Hail Mary and the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel after Mass.

The organization also asks that these prayers be offered for the intention of ending the surgical and non-surgical killing of unborn babies. Participants can register for the event at:
