You are of your father the devil: and the desires of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning: and he stood not in the truth, because truth is not in him.

Yesterday, while Texas pro-lifers were singing, “Amazing Grace” abortion backers began chanting “Hail, Satan!”

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil: and the desires of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning: and he stood not in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.

Abortion protesters disrupt Obama rally: “This Moral Wrong Should Never Be A Constitutional Right.”

CINCINNATI, Ohio — At least two protesters were removed from a rally for President Barack Obama  here Sunday after they interrupted his speech by shouting from the bleachers.

A few moments into Obama’s address at the University of Cincinnati basketball arena, a man seated in the upper rafters stood up and began shouting down the president about abortion. He held up a sign upside down that read “This Moral Wrong Should Never Be A Constitutional Right” and continued yelling, but the crowd of 13,500 drowned him out with a chant of “Four more years!” The incident forced the president to stop his speech and the man continued shouting until five police offers hauled him out of the arena. When Obama began speaking again, another man on the other side of the arena tried to shout him down again, but was quickly escorted out.

I am not the first to note the vast differences between the Wall Street protesters and the tea partiers. To name three: The tea partiers have jobs, showers and a point.

Chilling video documents assaults on peaceful pro-marriage demonstrators

FAIRPORT, New York, June 6, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Volunteers with the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP) were attacked while peacefully demonstrating in support for marriage in Fairport, New York, on June 2.

Watch a video of the attack here.

British Archbishop gets judgmental about protesters … but gives homosexuals a “pass”.

Asked by The Tablet whether “those protesting are making assumptions” about the “lifestyles” of the people attending the Masses, Longley replied, “I would assume that is the case, and so it isn’t for any of us to make those judgments which, in conscience, people make before God and also within the sacraments, particularly the sacrament of reconciliation assisted by the priests and other pastors within the Church.”

“The Church does not, as it were, have a moral means-testing of people before they come to receive the sacraments and it is very easy to jump to and come to the wrong conclusions about people when you don’t know them.

The people protesting and praying, however, have said that they have never been given a chance to express their concerns with the Catholic leadership and are shocked at being so casually dismissed as “judgmental”.

Editor’s note: Then why, Archbishop Longley, do you choose to judge ONLY those who are obviously NOT homosexuals, while giving a “pass” to those who openly advocate and practice the homosexual lifestyle, in opposition to authoritative Catholic Church teachings?

Whatever happened to well-read, theologically-knowledgeable heretics?

The modern heretic, all in all, is a different animal. If he has any interest in theology, it’s usually a negative interest; he wishes it would go away. It is an annoying fly in the ointment of his grand scheme to remake the Church in his likeness and image. He usually embraces heresy not because he makes a mistake while pondering theological nuances but because he has accepted the dominant cultural mores and social attitudes and is now intent on remolding Catholicism to fit them, rather than scrutinizing them in the light of Catholic teaching.

The ancient heretics eventually ran up against Church authority and, alas, made bad choices. Modern heretics make bad choices and then try to run over Church authority. “Minds no longer object to the Church,” wrote Abp. Fulton Sheen, “because of the way they think, but because of the way they live. They no longer have difficulty with the Creed, but with her Commandments … Briefly, the heresy of our day is not the heresy of thought; it is the heresy of action.”

Nancy W. and the Kids Report on the Papal Visit to Washington

Hi All,                             AMDG

Thanks for putting Patty’s video on your web-site http://youtube.com/watch?v=8JZn0xMp3IM !

She’ll be so delighted.

She is getting great feedback, especially from our poor neighbors!  Lord have mercy!  (I told them to ‘reply all’ with good comments)  LOL.

We had a great time giving witness to our love for our Holy Father and the Holy Catholic Church!  Praise the Lord!

We did not have tickets to the mass or the White House, nor did we try.  Just happy to be part of the crowd viewing from afar.   After watching the disrespect of the mass on TV, I am so happy we didn’t go.  (John Kerry receiving Holy Communion)  Lord have mercy!  It makes me so sad to see and VERY CONFUSING TO THE CHILDREN.

Wouldn’t it have been a terrific witness to have a Latin Mass for our Holy Father, as he loves Latin so much!!!  We could have shown the world the mass we had for 1,500 years before the fall of civilization in the 1960’s, hmmm.  We could have brought a little respect back to the mass for God in the Eucharist, for our Holy Father and reminded the world what respect is.  Maybe upon witnessing, hearts may have changed and respect may even have trickled down to respect for the unborn.   Boy, the Latin mass could have solved Cardinal Francis George’s problem about HOW to refuse pro-abort politicians Holy Communion as stated in the Canon Law.

When the pro-abort recipient kneels, the Priest walks past.  Easy!

Many people were gathering to enter the White House lawn when we arrived there Wed. at 6 AM. All of them had tickets.

We stood where the cannons were set up for the 21 gun salute, between the White House and the Washington Monument.

The Holy Father was 1/2 mile directly across the lawn from me!  So cool!  (If he looked accross the lawn to the cannons, he would have seen us in our yellow babushkas waiving them!

Anticipating his ride down Pennsylvania Ave., we hiked there to get a good spot.  On turning the corner, we were amazed to see thousands of people standing on both sides of the closed road.  A couple protesters with signs and megaphones telling us all we were going to hell for worshipping false idols were drowned out by 50 different little groups of Mexican Mariachi players.  Each little group had tambourines, guitars and singers singing Alleluia and even line dancers!  So festive!

As we walked along,  looking for a gap in the people to stand, we overheard three different people talking on their cell phones that they had never seen anything like it in Washington before!  Apparently the Holy Father finished his talk at the White House because scores of people in suites flooded the overcrowded sidewalks.

Protestants were passing out their, ‘Catholic Church is the Anti-Christ’ magazines.  I overheard the pagan say to read King James Bible.  I told him he wouldn’t have a bible if it weren’t for the Catholic Church.  He said that was not true.  I blessed him and left.

Soon, the motorcade began.  Ever so slowly, the white Pope mobile! Then, there he was, giving us his blessings!!!!  Speechless until I thought, I should scream, but when I did, it didn’t feel right.  I just cried.  It was beautiful.  Jacob took 10 pictures from on my shoulders, just got them back and they were still all pictures of the backs of peoples heads!    We drove to the next Papal site at the Basilica but hadn’t the energy to fight the overflowing crowds.

We had been hoping to go into the Basilica to pray but it was closed.   The next day we took in the sites in the AM and went to the Catholic Univ. to catch Him en route to the Pope John Paul Center.  The area was strangely quiet. The set up was that He was going to drive inside the compound and only those with a tickets would get a chance to see him.  Apparently, most of the media and fanfare was already on route to NY.

We didn’t think we’d get a chance to see him and the protester now were disgusting.  A couple of the same protesters were there calling the church the  anti-Christ?  But the more offensive ones to me had posters calling the Priests and Brothers horrific names.

We started screaming, ‘We love our Priests’ as we walked passed them!    We chatted to some people, trying to convert the T-shirt salesmen, sort of thinking of leaving and disappointed that we could not get into the C.U. campus. Just then, we overheard a man say to a Mexican group next to us that some more people were being asked to enter to fill in the Catholic U. campus.  A woman had said we could enter with her group when a sweet young man asked me if I needed tickets.  There he handed me the tickets to enter in to see the Holy Father travel on the horse-shoe drive around the buildings in the Pope mobile again!!!

There were a couple thousand people, I’d say.

We could not get to close to the edge, about 3-4 people deep.  All of a sudden, without warning, he came in the Pope mobile escorted by security!  He was about 15 feet away. Again, I had Jake on my shoulders.  We ran along with the mobile and it stopped just in front of us and He put the window down!  I yelled, “I love you!”  It was fantastic!

Even after being in the car for 30 hours with 10 movies and a broken DVD player,  Jake asked if we could go to New York to see him there too!  All the horrors of the long trip were instantly forgotten.

We got home early Saturday morning after visiting Emmetsburg yesterday.  My husband went with the children to confession Saturday morning!

God is good!   Too tired to write anymore.  Thanks for your prayers.

Love ~ Nancy

PS  There was a great video next to Patty’s on You-Tube that really captured the flavor of the day on Pen. Ave.  It was taken by fotojuan something.  You’ll see it to your right in the Pope video listings.

St. Benedict, pray for us.
