Romanian Doctor Addresses Ordinary Synod on the Family. Nails It!

Fam47

…We, as Catholic doctors, defending life and family, can see this is, first of all, a spiritual battle.

Material poverty and consumerism are not the primary cause of the family crisis.

The primary cause of the sexual and cultural revolution is ideological.

Our Lady of Fatima has said that Russia’s errors would spread all over the world.

It was first done under a violent form, classical Marxism, by killing tens of millions.

Now it’s being done mostly by cultural Marxism. There is continuity from Lenin’s sex revolution, through Gramsci and the Frankfurt school, to the current-day gay-rights and gender ideology.

Classical Marxism pretended to redesign society, through violent take-over of property.

Now the revolution goes deeper; it pretends to redefine family, sex identity and human nature.

This ideology calls itself progressive. But it is nothing else than the ancient serpent’s offer, for man to take control, to replace God, to arrange salvation here, in this world.

It’s an error of religious nature, it’s Gnosticism.

It’s the task of the shepherds to recognize it, and warn the flock against this danger.

“Seek ye therefore first the Kingdom of God, and His justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.”

The Church’s mission is to save souls. Evil, in this world, comes from sin. Not from income disparity or “climate change”.

The solution is: Evangelization. Conversion.

Not an ever increasing government control. Not a world government. These are nowadays the main agents imposing cultural Marxism to our nations, under the form of population control, reproductive health, gay rights, gender education, and so on.

What the world needs nowadays is not limitation of freedom, but real freedom, liberation from sin. Salvation.

Time and time again attempts were made to deprive Catholics of their historical memory, even of their language and to subject them to forced assimilation.

The six Protestant Ministers who helped design
the Novus Ordo Mass and usher in forced
Conciliar Reforms
that the Catholic faithful never requested

by Doug Lawrence

Regarding the Crimea situation, Vladimir Putin recently had this (in part) to say:

Time and time again attempts were made to deprive Russians of their historical memory, even of their language and to subject them to forced assimilation.

Those who stood behind the latest events in Ukraine had a different agenda: they were preparing yet another government takeover; they wanted to seize power and would stop short of nothing.

We can all clearly see the intentions of these ideological heirs of Bandera, Hitler’s accomplice during World War II.

Putin’s words – whatever their particular object or authorship – whether truthful or mere political rhetoric – struck a “cord” with me, regarding recent Catholic Church history and politics. Change just a few of the words and see what you get:

Time and time again attempts were made to deprive Catholics of their historical memory, even of their language and to subject them to forced assimilation. (Absolutely true, right up to the present day.)

Those who stood behind the workings of the 2nd Vatican Council had a different agenda: they were preparing to take over the Catholic Church; they wanted to seize power and would stop short of nothing. (Absolutely true, right up to the present day.)

We can all clearly see the intentions of these ideological heirs of Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, Henry VIII and the other great heretics of the Protestant Reformation. (Absolutely true, right up to the present day.)

I don’t know who writes Putin’s speeches – but the stuff about “forced assimilation” applies to all kinds of long standing political and ideological grievances – including the Israel/Palestinian conflict, abortion, homosexual unions, the HHS Mandate and of course, the way the obtuse and destructive “spirit” of Vatican II continues to be forcibly inflicted on the Catholic faithful.

People resent having someone else’s “brilliant” ideas “jammed down their throats” and they also tend to have very long memories. Forty-plus years of dismal evidence testifies to wrong-headedness of the people who took over and implemented the Conciliar Reforms.

I wonder when “The Catholic Peace Talks” will officially begin?

What’s really happening in Ukraine/Crimea

Understanding what Vladimir Putin is doing doesn’t require converting a media Beelzebub into a media St. Francis. It does, however, demand that we spit out the simple-minded gruel peddled by the MSM and the well-coiffed spokesbeings for the Washington-Brussels Axis of Putty.

Russian lawmaker: “Homosexuality is not normal, I’m sorry.”

“We have to defend the future of our children,” said Milonov, who has children aged four and one.

He railed against the legalisation of gay marriage in some European countries, describing it as a “symptom of an illness in society, a spiritual degradation”.

“Ninety-five percent of Russians are against gay marriage. Gays do not have any support in Russian society.”

Editor’s note: That comment is pretty weak, in itself, Mr. President! Have a nice vacation on Martha’s Vineyard – which, by the way –  is in the Atlantic Ocean – not the Gulf of Mexico. (Just trying to help! I noticed that Mr. Obama had a little problem with geography – among other things – when he appeared on the Jay Leno show, earlier this week.)

Putin: Catholic Church in Russia must register with the government as “a foreign agent”.

On March 15, a Catholic parish in Novocherkassk was ordered to pay a 450,000-rouble ($14,600 U.S.) fine for allegedly failing fire safety standards.

Fr. Aleksi Polisko, rector of the city’s Most Blessed Virgin Mary parish, which has just 50 regular Massgoers, told Agence France-Presse the fine was around 150 times the parish’s weekly income, but said the local procurator had threatened to close his church unless it was paid within a month.

The director of Caritas in St. Petersburg, Natalya Pevtsova, told the Interfax news agency that officials had “examined everything … from the state of our toilets to our charity documents,” during the raid of her offices.

Russia’s million-strong Catholic Church has long complained of discrimination in Russia and protested when a Moscow charity house belonging to Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity was bulldozed in 2011 and a Catholic parish in Pskov was barred from building its church because of “legal technicalities.”

Russia reports a meteor shower in the form of fireballs.

YEKATERINBURG/CHELYABINSK, Russia (Reuters) – About 400 people were injured when a meteorite shot across the sky in central Russia on Friday sending fireballs crashing to Earth, smashing windows and setting off car alarms.

Residents on their way to work in Chelyabinsk heard what sounded like an explosion, saw a bright light and then felt a shockwave, according to a Reuters correspondent in the industrial city 1,500 km (950 miles) east of Moscow.

Cardinal George: The very real dangers of being on the wrong side of things.

Eternity enters into human history in often incomprehensible ways. God makes promises but gives no timelines.

Visiting the shrine at Fatima, pilgrims enter a huge plaza, with the spot of the apparitions marked by a small chapel to one side, a large church at one end, an equally large adoration chapel at the other end, and a center for visitors and for the hearing of confessions. Just outside the main grounds, a section of the Berlin Wall has been re-built, a stark witness to what Mary had talked about almost a century ago. Communism in Russia and its satellite nations has collapsed, although many of its sinful effects are still with us.

Communism imposed a total way of life based upon the belief that God does not exist. Secularism is communism’s better-scrubbed bedfellow.

A small irony of history cropped up at the United Nations a few weeks ago when Russia joined the majority of other nations to defeat the United States and the western European nations that wanted to declare that killing the unborn should be a universal human right.

Who is on the wrong side of history now?

“Moscow is not Sodom”

MOSCOW, Russia,  May 30, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Orthodox Christians blocked an attempt Sunday by homosexuals to demonstrate outside of the Moscow City Council in response to the city’s ongoing refusal to permit a “gay pride” parade within its jurisdiction.

Calling the event “Gay Pride 2012,” despite the ban, protesters held rainbow flags and signs, and made declarations to the media. At least one wore a Wicca symbol on her neck.

According to video posted on YouTube by march supporters, Orthodox activists disrupted the event by snatching the signs from the protesters, and even splashing holy water on them.  Some scuffled with demonstrators and took swings at them, although there were no reports of injuries. Moscow police followed up by arresting the homosexual protesters, although some Orthodox were arrested as well.

Pro-family activist Dmitry Tsarionov told reporters: “I will not allow perverts to bring the wrath of God onto our city,” and added: “I want our children to live in a country where a sin that so awfully distorts human nature is not preached in schools,” according to the Associated Press.  He held a sign that read: “Moscow is not Sodom.”

Russian Orthodox Church Asserts Role in Civil Society

MOSCOW — Just over 20 years ago, any religious education outside church walls was still banned in the Soviet Union. Today, churches are being built on state university campuses, theology departments have opened around Russia, and the Russian Orthodox Church has built its own educational network with international contacts and even become something of a model for the secular system.

285,000 Moscovites que up in the cold to view the Precious Sash of “Our Most Holy Lady Theotokos”

Reliquary of the Precious Sash

Such is the excitement and fuss the Cincture of the Virgin Mary has generated on its first trip out of Greece in 200 years. The faithful believe it clung to the waist of the Virgin Mary and thousands have flocked to Moscow to see it on its grand tour.

According to tradition Mary was buried wearing the belt but disappeared thereafter. She then reappeared to the apostle Thomas, who had missed the funeral, and she gave him her camel hair belt.

It then traveled to Constantinople, years later, where the Empress Zoe, wife of the Emperor Leo VI embroidered it with gold thread and divided it into three sections.

“It was more common to take sick days for an abortion than for a cold…”

Two decades after the Soviet Union’s collapse, wider availability of contraception and a resurgence of religion have reduced the numbers of abortions overall, but termination remains the top method of birth control in Russia.

Its abortion rate
— 1.3 million, or 73 per 100 births in 2009 —
is the world’s highest.

Backed by the Russian Orthodox Church, an influential anti-abortion lobby is driving a moral crusade to tighten legislation and shift public attitudes that are largely a legacy of the Soviet era.

Prophetic event? After 93 years, Corpus Christi procession to take place in St. Petersburg, Russia

Rome, Italy, Jun 23, 2011 / 01:50 pm (CNA).- The mayor of St. Petersburg, Russia has granted permission for the first Corpus Christi procession to take place in the city since 1918.

Editor’s note: This is a much bigger development than it might at first, seem. Such a thing would have been impossible, just a few, short years ago. Maybe the alleged flaws in JPII’s earlier (1982-1984) consecration of Russia, an event that has been termed faulty and incomplete by many, have finally been remedied, now that he has been beatified.

Be sure to take a look at the very intriguing time-line of events referenced at the above link.

Putting Hitler and Stalin into proper “context”

Oliver Stone says his upcoming Showtime documentary series Secret History of America will put the 20th century’s star butchers Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin “in context.”

Hitler and Stalin

That Hollywood would glorify Stalin is hardly a shock to anyone. If you go back to many Cold War-era movies, you will find tortured excuses — even fulsome praise — for Mother Russia.

Only Nazi Germany was allowed to appear on the screen as evil incarnate. For decades, Hitler has been the perfect role model as villain — right out of “central casting.” The highest-priced Hollywood talent scout could not have given the movie moguls a better gift. Funny mustache, silly goose-step, the “Sieg Heil” salutes, a “Master Race” theory, his evil shouting speeches. And that’s before we even learned about the gas chambers and the Holocaust.

Stalin was smarter about his evil. He murdered millions — but — he did not shout himself hoarse in public. He kept his mouth shut, and just did it. A good Hollywood producer can’t do as much with that. Hitler, by contrast, was in the world’s face as he committed mass murder.

Poland, Tragedy, and the “Decapitation of the Polish Government”: Katyn and ‘The Good War’

by Patrick J. Buchanan on April 13, 2010

The decapitation of the Polish government last weekend, including President Lech Kaczynski and the military leadership, on that flight to Smolensk to commemorate the Katyn Massacre, brings to mind the terrible and tragic days and deeds of what many yet call the Good War.

From Russian reports, the Polish pilot waved off four commands from air traffic control to divert to Moscow or Minsk. The airfield at Smolensk was fogged in. There is speculation that Kaczynski, fiercely nationalistic and distrustful of Russians, may have defiantly ordered his pilot to land, rather than delay the 70th anniversary of Katyn. The symbolism is inescapable.

For it was Polish defiance of Adolf Hitler’s demand to negotiate the return of Danzig, a German town put under Polish control after World War I, that gave birth to the Hitler-Stalin Pact, which led to Katyn.

After the German invasion on Sept. 1, 1939, ignited the war, Joseph Stalin attacked Poland from the east on Sept. 17, capturing much of the Polish officer corps.

In April 1940, on Stalin’s order, the Soviet Secret Police, the NKVD, murdered virtually the entire leadership of the nation, including 8,000 officers and near twice that number of intellectuals and civilian leaders. Some 4,000 were shot with their hands tied behind their backs in Katyn Forest.

The Germans unearthed the bodies in 1943 and invited the Red Cross in to examine the site. Through newspapers found on the corpses, the date of the atrocity was fixed as more than a year before the German Army invaded the Soviet Union.

Is Russia now more Christian than today’s United States?

A couple of weeks ago Barack Obama skipped Church on Christmas Day while the President of Russia, Dimitry Medvedev,  on January 6, 2010,  attended mid-night mass services celebrating the Russian Orthodox Christmas in grand splendor in the traditional Vigil liturgy in Saint Christ the Saviour Cathedral in the presence of 4,000 people, including Patriarch Kirill.  The Russian Orthodox Church celebrates Christmas following the old Julian calendar, which is 13 days “behind” the Gregorian calendar.
While Russian leaders were attending Church services, half way around the world in America, Chicago Tribune, writing about Obama’s troubles finding a Church for his family, said “But as his (Obama) fellow Christians around the world attended Christmas services on Wednesday and Thursday, the president-elect and his family remained sequestered at their vacation compound on the windward coast of Oahu. His lack of attendance at formal religious services showcased a dilemma faced by Obama, who is between churches and often expresses concern about bringing the disruption of his security detail into the lives of others.”  According to the same report President Barack Obama has not attended a public church service since before being elected.
So what you say? Well, today Russia is investing $100 million to rebuild Christian churches throughout the country. Money to rebuild theses churches is coming from Russian tax payers. This would be impossible in the US of course.   Imagine the US Media’s reaction if President Obama decided to  invest $100 million dollars of US tax payer dollars to rebuild Catholic Churches.   In the US there would be outrage yet Russia citizens are supportive of the investment.
