Bird of a feather, SoS John Kerry.

On Tuesday, Secretary of State John Kerry continued his bumpy first out-of-the-country tour with an homage to the ugly Americans he represents. Speaking in Germany, he told students, “In America, you have a right to be stupid, if you want to be, and you have a right to be disconnected to somebody else if you want to be. And we tolerate that – we somehow make it through that.”

Editor’s note: This from a guy stupid enough to have chin implant cosmetic surgery, just to make his jaw a bit bigger than Clutch Cargo’s. We ought to change Kerry’s title to Secretary of Stupid.

Generational curse: Microsoft Bill Gates’ dad was head of Planned Parenthood. Now little Bill has it in for the babies, too!

Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates reveals the inspiration for his funding of pro-abortion population control measures:

Responding to a question by Moyers on how he came to fund “reproductive issues” Gates answered, “When I was growing up, my parents were always involved in various volunteer things. My dad was head of Planned Parenthood. And it was very controversial to be involved with that.”

Editor’s note: It still is controversial, little Bill! How can anyone that rich be so stupid?

Priest to Catholic voters: Stop being stupid!

Catholics, even though we live in a country and are citizens of that country, have a higher calling and responsibility to God and to our neighbor to promote God’s truth even when others hate it, reject it, and hate us for proclaiming it. We are citizens in an earthly realm, but more importantly we are citizens of the new kingdom of heaven with Jesus as the Lord, His laws as our prime way of life, and called to live them and to promote them even to unbelievers.

We live in a society where many people with power, possessions, and prestige are promoting ideas that are not founded in Christ. In order to promote their ideas over ours, they tell us we must stay in our churches, keep our religion to ourselves, and that their idea of separation of the church from the state (which does not exist in our American Constitution as they say it does) trumps any ideas we might have, so we have to shut up.

And Catholics sheepishly keep quiet and vote for men and women who promote evil.

How smart is it to trust, support, and even volunteer for the very people who were striving 16 years ago to see you dead?

16-yr-old MaxKamin-Cross is sure headed in a stupid direction, because Kamin-Cross is a budding pro-abort….

A “fired up” Kamin-Cross reported July 19 at RH Reality Check about Planned Parenthood’s recently held 2010 Organizing and Policy Summit:

Before I go on, can I just say….WOW! Five hundred youth and adult advisors from around the country… converging on Washington, DC for three days. It was an amazing thing to see and to be a part of.

This just continues to prove my point – teens do care but just need someone to take the first step. At the OPS in 2009, Cecile Richards, President of PP, issued a challenged to increase the attendance for 2010’s conference. We succeeded. Over 100 more people attended OPS 2010 than 2009; almost 300 of them were youth….

One new addition at this conference was the first meeting of PP’s Young Leaders Advisory Board. Twenty of PP’s most visionary young adults (including me!) from 14 different states were selected to take part in this new initiative. I can’t go into the specifics, but be prepared for some fantastic new PP campaigns and initiatives….

Ok, stop. Max, do you realize that for the 300 youth at the PP conference, 100 others were killed by abortion – likely by PP, the United Stated’ largest abortion provider? Do you realize PP was working its damnedest 16 years ago to enable your mother to kill you? Ask those PP reps if they would have supported (and made money from) your death? Speaking of, do you realize all the PP reps around you make a very good living off of abortion?

We’re too broke to be this stupid

It’s not so much the money as the stupidity, which massively expands under such generous subvention. When it emerged that President Barack Obama had appointed a Communist as his “green jobs czar,” I carelessly assumed it was the usual youthful “idealism”: no doubt Van Jones, the Communist Obama appointee in question, had been a utopian college student caught up in the spirit of ’68 and gone along for the ride. A passing phase. Soon grow out of it. But, in fact, Mr. Jones became a Communist in the mid-nineties, after the fall of the Soviet Union. He embraced Communism after even the commies had given up on it. Like the song says, he was commie after commie had ceased to be cool.

On Fox News, Glenn Beck made a fuss about it. But the “mainstream” media thought this was frankly rather boorish, and something only uptight right-wing squares would do. I mean, what’s the big deal? True, everywhere it’s been implemented, Communism causes human misery—not to mention an estimated 150 million deaths. But it doesn’t make you persona non grata in the salons of the West. Quite the opposite. The Washington Post hailed the grizzled folkie Pete Seeger as America’s “best-loved commie”—which, unlike “America’s best-loved Nazi,” is quite a competitive title. Even so, why would you stick a commie in the White House and put him in charge of anything to do with jobs, even “green jobs”?

Well, because “green jobs” is just another of those rich-enough-to-be-stupid scams. The Spanish government pays over $800,000 for every “green job” on a solar-panel assembly line. This money is taken from real workers with real jobs at real businesses whose growth is being squashed to divert funds to endeavours that have no rationale other than their government subsidies—and which would collapse as soon as the subsidies end. Yet Tim Flannery, the Aussie climate-alarmist who chaired the Copenhagen racket, says we need to redouble our efforts. “We’re trying to act as a species,” he says, “to regulate the atmosphere.”
