Wendy Davis’ secret for success: Marry a rich guy, get him to pay for everything, then dump him!

Davis was 21, not 19, when she was divorced. She lived only a few months in the family mobile home while separated from her husband before moving into an apartment with her daughter.

A single mother working two jobs, she met Jeff Davis, a lawyer 13 years older than her, married him and had a second daughter. He paid for her last two years at Texas Christian University and her time at Harvard Law School, and kept their two daughters while she was in Boston. When they divorced in 2005, he was granted parental custody, and the girls stayed with him. Wendy Davis was directed to pay child support.

Wendy Davis’ idea of “Pro-Life”: It’s OK to kill babies that may not be able to fully participate in the “Texas Dream”.

“I care about the life of every child: every child that goes to bed hungry, every child that goes to bed without a proper education, every child that goes to bed without being able to be a part of the Texas dream, every woman and man who worry about their children’s future and their ability to provide for that future,” Davis said, according to The Dallas Morning News.

The networks reacted negatively to Ted Cruz’s “long-winded protest.” On Wednesday, George Stephanopoulos derided it as “bizarre.” This is not exactly the reception Democratic state senator Wendy Davis received when she fought against pro-life legislation in Texas.

“Sacred” abortions, offered in homage to the god of loveless autonomy and sexual freedom

This should bother you, a lot.  It is the elevation to “holy” of what we were once assured was to be “safe, legal and rare” – a very provocative, pro-active and non-neutral move.  It is the proud revelation that Planned Parenthood’s stirrups and exam table is the sacrificial altar of the new liberal faith and its increasingly captive Democratic Party.

The “sacred” moniker gives lie to the purported neutrality, innocence and victimlessness of cultural libertinism and is a confession that destruction of the innocent is the far left sacrament.

And so Pelosi, Davis and the delegates to the 2012 Democratic National Convention join the ritualistic child-sacrificing ranks of the IncasAztecsAmmonitesCarthaginians and modern Ugandans – all of whom elevated child murder not only to a good, but to a holy and sacred good.

Sacred to which god?

During a speech and press conference today, pro-abortion Texas lawmaker Wendy Davis said she would consider running for governor. The abortion activist also pulled a page from Nancy Pelosi’s playbook by calling defending late-term abortions “sacred ground.”

Texas abortion bill finally passes in spite of Wendy Davis and her banal band of Satanic losers.

Well, after  all the sturm und drang of the Wendy Davis filibuster, Davis of course being the pro-abort Democrat Texas State Senator elected into office with the help of Ralph McCloud, director of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, pro-aborts saluting their dishonorary leader, Satan, and pro-abort thugs having confiscated from them bricks, feces and urine that they intended to throw at Texas state legislators, the bill banning almost all abortions after 20 weeks has passed.

Why hasn’t Cardinal Dolan fired CCHD Director Ralph McCloud for his scandalous role in the Wendy Davis/Texas abortion bill affair?

One must ask how it is possible that McCloud deserves any position in the USCCB, least of all a position as director of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development where he is supposed to be a leader in social justice. The  mission statement of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development is this: “The Catholic Campaign for Human Development is an instrument of the Catholic Church working to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ, … to bring good news to the poor   … release to captives    … sight to the blind, and let the oppressed go free.’ (Luke 4:18)” It may be a newsflash at the CCHD, but killing the innocent unborn is not part of the mission of Jesus Christ!

Is there not any other Catholic in the United States whose organizational and management skills meet or exceed that of Ralph McCloud? Is there not another Catholic in America whose personal political actions do not contradict the moral teachings of the Catholic Church? In short, is there not another Catholic in this country who would not be an ethical embarrassment and scandal to the Catholic Church and its members? (Answers: Yes. Yes. Yes.)

It is important to stress again that McCloud’s very public and effective support of the abortion supporting Wendy Davis occurred while he was an employee on the payroll of the Catholic bishops in a job that required him to promote justice and dignity for all human life! Put another way, while his fellow Catholics were praying and working and giving their hard earned money to their bishops to promote justice, including wiping out abortion, Ralph McCloud was out and about supporting an abortion mongering politician. And it is not that the Catholic bishops did not or do not know about McCloud’s public support of Davis. They did at the time and they do now, but do not seem to care.

So if you might wonder why Senator Wendy Davis, the courageous champion of the killing of unborn children at any time in the womb for any reason, even has a seat in the Texas senate where she has a position to  effectively promote the culture of death, think of Ralph McCloud and the Catholic bishops of the United States who employ him as director of their Catholic Campaign for Human Development

As my late mother would say: Doesn’t that beat all you’ve ever heard?

The truth about Planned Parenthood, Wendy Davis and the State of Texas

Davis got pregnant at 18. She gave birth to her daughter at 19. She apparently wasn’t exercising “family planning services” at that time, and thank goodness she didn’t utilize the “service” she is so relentlessly defending today: abortion.

And she’s now made SB#5, a ban on late-term abortions after 5 months of pregnancy, her political football. Despite the horrors of late-term abortionists like Gosnell and Karpen, Davis is heralded for her pink Mizuno sneakers instead protecting women and children from the crimson-stained floors, toilets and drains of back-alley abortionists.

Mizuno, by the way, is enjoying all of the publicity, claiming it has no corporate policy about the issue they can’t even mention, by word, in their press release. If Ms. Davis were defending traditional marriage or filibustering a pro-abortion law, I highly doubt Mizuno would be so enthusiastic or vague about their convictions. Don’t expect mainstream media to point out such obvious inconsistency.

Real heroes don’t promote the wanton slaughter of pre-born infants.

AUSTIN, Texas (Reuters) – Thousands of opponents of a Texas proposal to tighten abortion restrictions rallied outside the statehouse on Monday, giving a hero’s welcome to Democratic state Senator Wendy Davis, whose 11-hour speech stalled the measure last week.

Ralph McCloud is still running the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, in spite of his direct support for pro-abortion Texas state senator Wendy Davis

And if this scandal is not enough, the CCHD – with the support of a number of bishops – is still spouting falsehoods and issuing denials about the various anti-Catholic things they continue to do with Catholic money.

Head of CCHD was the campaign treasurer for the woman who filibustered the Texas legislature to stop anti-abortion legislation

While the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) has come under well deserved scrutiny for supporting groups such as ACORN and groups with ties to promoting abortion, CMR has uncovered that Ralph McCloud, while heading the CCHD in 2008, was simultaneously working as a highly placed campaign official for a pro-choice politician seeking to unseat a pro-life politician.

As you likely know, CCHD is the bishops’ anti-poverty program which funds community organizing and economic development projects and has been at the center of a number of controversies. Ralph McCloud was named head of the CCHD in November 2007. In his first year as head of the CCHD, according to public records, McCloud also worked as the Treasurer for Planned Parenthood endorsed Democrat Wendy Davis.

Why would the director of the CCHD, during his tenure as head of an ostensibly Catholic institution act as champion and treasurer of a campaign for a pro-abortion politician seeking to oust a pro-life politician? This is the textbook definition of scandal.
